Ai Haibara looked at her older sister, who had no idea she had an aunt.

"Also, there's something else," Conan said, feeling a bit annoyed. "Your Aunt Mary married a secret agent. That man's name is Tsutomu Akai."

"Akai?" Ai Haibara felt like she'd been hit on the head, and asked uncertainly, "Is this Akai... the same Akai?"

"Yes, they have three children. The eldest son is Akemi's boyfriend, Shuichi Akai." Conan felt a slight toothache.

He secretly cursed Akai Shuichi in his heart, thinking he was a scoundrel who would even lay a hand on his own cousin.

"How is this possible?" Mingmei stared blankly at the other side of the table, her eyes unfocused.

Ai Haibara glanced at her sister, then turned her gaze to Conan. "So, did you find Aunt Mary?"

"Not for now." Conan said, somewhat annoyed. "That guy did tell me a method, though."

"any solution?"

"Have someone impersonate Akai Tsutomu and walk down that street," Conan said, somewhat annoyed. "I'd like to have Dr. Agasa impersonate Mr. Akai Tsutomu, but Dr. Agasa's size..."

Ai Haibara glanced at the somewhat embarrassed Doctor, and after a moment nodded. "Doctor should indeed lose weight, but what are you going to do now? Given your personality, you wouldn't just sit here and wait to die, would you?"

"I've already called my parents and asked them to come over," Conan said somewhat helplessly. "My mom's makeup skills are amazing, so I asked her to help me with my dad's makeup..."

Ai Haibara looked at Conan with a helpless expression; this guy was addicted to messing with his parents.

"I'll give that guy a call; he definitely knows Aunt Mary's information," Ai Haibara said with a hint of helplessness.

"He probably won't tell."

“I’m not like you. You only cause trouble, while I can at least help him.” Haibara rolled her eyes.

“I’ll call Shuichi and have him ask,” Akemi, who had been silent all along, said.

“Well, I think we don’t need to call and ask.” A young and pretty girl appeared at their table. “Young ladies, could you come with me? My mom is very interested in you.”

Conan and Dr. Agasa both looked at the girl, their expressions tense. Ai and Akemi also hid behind Dr. Agasa.

"Um, don't be nervous, I mean no harm." The girl waved her hand. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Sera Masumi. I'm looking for you because you look a lot like my mother's friend. If you don't believe me, look."

Seemingly to prove her point, the girl named Sera Masumi took out an old black-and-white photograph from her bag. The photograph showed two girls, one older and one younger, who looked exactly like Akemi and Ai in front of her—not exactly identical, but practically indistinguishable.

Conan compared the photo with the two people, then pointed at the photo and asked Ai Haibara, "Is this you?"

“It’s me.” Ai Haibara nodded.

"This isn't you!" Sera Masumi said, somewhat angrily. "This is your mother!"

Ai Haibara glanced at Sera Masumi, and out of respect for her surname, she decided to let it go for the time being.

Sera looked at the two girls in front of her, feeling somewhat annoyed. Her mother had originally come to see her father today; someone from MI6 had said her father was on this bridge and told her to go check it out. However, her mother turned back at the coffee shop by the bridge and then sent her here to trick the little girl, giving her only a photograph as a prop.

Chapter 283 The Stalker

"Sera-neechan, could you please lead the way?" Conan looked up and asked innocently.

"Hey!" Ai exclaimed in a panic.

Even though he knew the girl in front of him was likely a relative, was it too hasty for Conan to agree so easily?

"This..." Sera Masumi looked at Conan, then at Akemi and Ai, and didn't know what to do.

“I’ll go with you. After all, we’re abroad, and it’s good to have an adult with you,” the professor said. “Conan, you stay here. I’ve already called Kogoro.”

"Alright." Conan's expression was somewhat resentful; he still wanted to see the MI6 agents for himself.

Sera Masumi led the three people behind her to her temporary residence, but she didn't notice that a woman was watching them the whole time.

After finishing her phone call with Gin, Vermouth noticed the situation here as she was about to buy a cup of coffee.

She was initially just curious as to why Yukiko's son would be in London, but after seeing the two faces that looked so much like Akemi Miyano and Shiho Miyano, and thinking about the recent developments in Japan, she instantly understood.

It's likely that the person was afraid that their failure would implicate these "kids," so they sent them abroad to avoid the limelight.

She originally intended to turn a blind eye, since she had made a deal with Shinjo about the Miyano sisters and would pretend she didn't know anything.

However, the appearance of Sera Masumi changed her mind; what she wanted to find was her mother, Sera Mary.

Seeing Sera Masumi take the two little girls away, Vermouth immediately grabbed the coffee cup on the table, then disguised herself as a tourist and followed them.

But halfway there, she realized something was wrong; her face and clothes were becoming increasingly conspicuous. The place they were going to was probably a village within London's urban area, where tourists were practically nonexistent.

Miyano Akemi has already turned back three times. If I continue to follow her, I may face the risk of my identity being exposed.

Fortunately, she was able to command her subordinates, and after a few orders were given, people quickly took turns following the group.

"Where does Aunt Mary live?" Haibara, who had been silent all along, suddenly asked.

"It's in the alley ahead, in one of the small buildings..." Sera suddenly realized something. "You mean someone's following us?"

"Hmm, they should be members of the organization." Haibara looked behind her.

There was a car over there, and a blond man was smoking inside. When the man saw Ai Haibara looking at him, he smiled at her, then started the car and drove off into the distance.

"Is it him?" Mingmei looked at her younger sister.

“It should be, but he’s probably not the only one following us,” Haibara said, frowning.

Sera Masumi looked at the two children in front of her and felt it was all absurd.

Having been exposed to their mother's teachings for so long, and even undergoing special training from numerous spies, they hadn't noticed anyone following them. How could these two children, who are only a few years old, have discovered these spies?

Remembering the brown-haired little girl's words that the guy was just one of these stalkers, she began to look around, trying to find all the other stalkers.

"Stop looking. Even if we find them, we won't be able to shake them off," Ai said. "They've already got their eyes on us."

"This……"

“I know quite a few police officers here in London, let them come and pick us up,” Dr. Agasa said.

This was originally a backup plan that Yusaku Kudo left for Conan. If Conan caused trouble in London, Professor Agasa could contact the London police and ask them to help clean up the mess.

Dr. Agasa just didn't expect to have to use it so soon, and the mess he made was probably worse than he anticipated; the London police might not be able to handle it.

"No need, going to the police station is more dangerous." Haibara looked at the alley ahead and dialed the phone.

Not long after, the call was answered, and Xincheng's somewhat sleepy voice came through.

"We're in danger in London. Do you have any backup plans?" Ai Haibara asked in a low voice.

"No, all my people are in Japan right now." Shinjo asked, yawning. "What trouble? Didn't you ask Conan to take you to find Akai Mary? You can't even find someone and you're running into trouble."

“I don’t know what’s going on either. There are a lot of people from various organizations around us now. They must be following us.” Haibara said as she walked into the alley while making a phone call. “You left tracking devices on us. It shouldn’t be too difficult for you to plan an escape route for us.”

“Planning an escape route isn’t difficult.” Shinjo rolled his eyes. “But that requires you to be in a busy area with lots of security cameras. Karen isn’t a god; everything requires electronic devices. Have you found Akai Mary? She’s an MI6 agent.”

"An MI6 agent?" Haibara looked up at Sera Masumi.

“No, it’s not me…” Sera waved her hand. “I’ve already told Mom. Don’t worry about those guys who are following us.”

After wandering around the alley for more than ten minutes, Ai Haibara and Akemi Sera looked rather grim, as they heard a dozen or so soft noises coming from outside.

Ordinary people might ignore the sound, but as members trained by the organization, they knew perfectly well that it was the sound of a pistol with a silencer. There must be a gunfight outside, and it seemed to be quite intense.

Soon, they were led by Sera Masumi to a room, and Akemi nervously held her younger sister's hand.

You have to understand that MI6 and the organization are on opposite sides. Will this aunt's attitude towards them be...? After all, she and Shiho are members of the organization.

Dr. Agasa took out a handkerchief and wiped his sweat; he was also a little nervous. Shinjo had anticipated this situation and thoughtfully prepared excuses for him. However, when he learned that the woman he was about to face was an MI6 agent, he felt a little guilty, wondering if she would notice anything amiss.

"Oh, right, I forgot to ask. What are your names, little sisters?" Sera Masumi asked, looking at the two little girls.

The thought of having two nieces made her feel a little smug.

"Akami, Sera Akami." Akami hid behind Professor Agasa. "Professor Agasa, this older sister is acting a little strange."

"Ai Haibara," Ai said expressionlessly.

Upon hearing the comment that "this older sister is weird," Sera Masumi's expression faltered. Oh no, she was being mistaken for a pervert.

Chapter 284 Contact

“Miss Masumi, um… their situation is a bit special.” Professor Agasa coughed. “Before we talk about them, I’d like to know about your identity, and your mother’s identity.”

“Um…” Sera Masumi looked at the two little girls in front of her and asked somewhat blankly, “Didn’t your mother tell you about your aunt? Um, you don’t even know who I am, so why did you come with me?”

Akemi was taken aback, then realized that she was being mistaken for "Miyano Akemi's" daughter. She then said somewhat timidly, "My mother told me about a strange aunt named Aunt Mary, and that we separated a long time ago."

Sera Masumi didn't know what to say for a moment, just then, a familiar voice rang out behind Akemi.

"Did your mother say that Aunt Mary likes to spank children?" Akai Mary smiled at Akemi. "Your name is Akemi? You have the same name as your mother..."

Mingmei was at a loss for words. She had only intended to tease her younger sister, but she hadn't expected to be caught red-handed by her aunt.

"Ai Haibara, are you Shiho's daughter?" Mary Akai looked at Ai Haibara and picked her up. "Elena mentioned you to me, but I've never seen you before."

"You're injured," Ai said expressionlessly.

"Just as the letter said, you're just like your mother, not cute at all." Akai Mary put Haibara Ai down.

"Mom, are you hurt?" Sera asked anxiously.

“The bridge must have been a trap today. If I hadn’t seen them, I might have stepped right into it.” Akai Mary looked at the two little girls and asked, “In return, I can give you a reward. What kind of reward do you want?”

“Um, Ms. Mary Akai, right?” Dr. Agasa stood in front of the two little girls. “I think there’s something I want to tell you.”

"You are……"

"You can call me Professor Agasa. I'll temporarily act as their guardian," Professor Agasa said, forcing a smile. "I'm sending them here to ask for your help in arranging their lives from now on."

Mary Akai's brows furrowed instantly. Shouldn't the guardians of these two children be the Miyano sisters? How did it become this middle-aged man in front of her?

Thinking of the organization members at the door, Mary Akai quickly came to a conclusion—those people weren't after her, but after the two children.

With that in mind, she opened the door and led Professor Agasa to a secluded little room.

As they entered, Professor Agasa glanced at Ai and Akemi. Akemi didn't react, while Ai shook her head slightly, signaling Professor Agasa not to reveal her identity.

"How are the two of them?" After a long silence, Mary Akai finally asked.

"There was a bank robbery in Tokyo, which was planned by those guys. Akemi Miyano, using the alias Masami Hirota, was one of the perpetrators. All the robbers were eventually silenced," Professor Agasa said.

These things are all true. Even if MI6 investigates, they won't find anything in the end.

Mary Akai nodded. "And what about my sister? I mean, Shiho Miyano."
