"You think the FBI helped him leave Japan?" Amuro Tooru suddenly spoke up, looking at the trembling Kazama. "Then you're underestimating him and the organization's channels. He could have left Japan on his own. This is probably a tactic he used to threaten us, a way to sell him for a higher price. The information he gave to the FBI probably wasn't the latest research data."

“Then we…” A look of relief appeared on Kazama’s face. As long as the latest information did not fall into the hands of the FBI, they still had room to maneuver.

"Report the facts truthfully." Amuro Tooru's eyes turned stern. "These guys have been too lax lately. We need to teach them a lesson and make them remember what kind of work they do."

Kazama opened his mouth, as if to explain something, but in the end he didn't say anything.

Five days later, while both sides were searching for the new city, the new city had already reached a certain coastline in England.

"Is this considered trespassing?" Shinjo climbed out of Dolphin 202. "Are your documents ready?"

“Don’t worry, I’ve prepared all your documents. Just two more nautical miles ahead and you’ll reach Wrexham Beach. The car is ready, and you can go straight to London.” Karen’s voice came through the headset. “Even if someone checks your immigration records, they won’t find anything wrong. As long as you don’t cause trouble, you can live comfortably here.”

"When does Wimbledon start?" Xincheng launched the rubber boat and paddled towards the coastline. "By the way, where will I stay after I arrive in London? We've also bought property there."

“You do own property, but it’s not suitable as a place to stay. The place you’re staying at this time is a safe house in Stout.”

"The place where Stout lived?" Shinjo was taken aback, turning to look at the submarine exit. "Hey, Stout, aren't you dead? Shouldn't your base have been reclaimed by the organization? We'll move in there..."

“Don’t forget, he’s a double agent.” Karen’s voice carried a hint of amusement. “Besides the bases that the organization and MI6 prepared for him, he also prepared safe houses for himself. Two of them are unusable, but there are three that are still usable.”

"I didn't expect this guy to be so prepared. It seems I went to all this trouble." Xincheng said, looking at Stout who had climbed out.

“What do you mean I was prepared!” Stout said irritably. “It’s a tradition for the British to trip up their own people. I was just taking precautions. I just didn’t expect that it wouldn’t be the British who betrayed me, but the Japanese.”

At this point, he became furious and couldn't help but swear. If Xincheng hadn't told him that his identity had been exposed, he might already be dead under a sniper's gun.

"Boss, can we get ashore?" Masaaki Okakura poked his head out of the submarine.

“Yeah, I didn’t get to enjoy London properly last time.”

Even though they mostly traveled by water from Tokyo to London, Sakata and Okakura felt like they were going crazy and needed to get ashore for some exercise.

"You two, come back here." Curaçao's voice was cold and ruthless.

Don't these two guys know they're now under high surveillance by the organization? The organization will take action against them the moment they show up in London.

Seeing that Curaçao was about to erupt in anger, the two men immediately and obediently withdrew their heads back into the submarine. They dared to joke with Shinjo, but they wouldn't dare to joke with Curaçao. This woman, when she got ruthless, was truly capable of killing.

"No need to be so strict. The submarine will always need to be replenished." Shinjo waved his hand. "As long as there are people on the submarine, that's fine. You two can go ashore after you've disguised yourselves."

Curaçao rolled her eyes when she heard Shinjo say that. Okakura Masaaki and Sakata Yusuke, on the other hand, high-fived each other; they were truly about to go crazy from holding it in.

After the rubber boat had paddled a few hundred meters, Stout glanced in the direction of the submarine, wanting to say something but not daring to. He was feeling incredibly stifled, and Shinjo was feeling even more distressed.

“Say whatever you want. You’ve been with us for so long, you know what kind of people we are,” Xincheng said with a smile. “Hurry up!”

“I think you’re being a bit too lenient with them, boss,” Stout said carefully. “Neither of them are professional agents. If they go ashore, they might give themselves away.”

“I told them to disguise themselves before coming ashore,” Xincheng said while paddling the kayak. “Neither of them knows how to disguise themselves. On Dolphin 202, only Curaçao knows how to disguise himself. If they want to come ashore, it’s ultimately Curaçao’s decision.”

“This…” Stout thought of Curaçao’s cold face and couldn’t help but shudder. “If I were them, I would rather stay in the submarine.”

The two quickly got ashore, found a car, and drove to London. They encountered two checkpoints along the way, but neither of them encountered any problems.

Scotland Yard entrance

Conan followed behind Yusaku Kudo, unaware that his father had also come to London on a mission: a bomber had delivered a criminal declaration to Scotland Yard. The Scotland Yard police couldn't decipher the code and had to seek help from outsiders, who then turned to Yusaku Kudo.

"Dad, how did you get to know the Scotland Yard police?" Conan asked, somewhat puzzled. "I've never heard you mention it before."

“When the ‘Cocoon’ project was being developed, Kenmura and I came here for an on-site inspection and even reviewed the files from the Jack the Ripper case,” Yusaku Kudo said with a smile. “I made quite a few friends during that time.”

Soon, the father and son were led to a reception room.

“This time, the code was delivered by a child. This child is Minerbaglas’s younger brother, the famous Queen of the Meadows.” A police officer named John simply took an A4 sheet of paper and placed it in front of Kudo Yusaku. “Just like last time, it’s a jumbled mess of a code, so we’d like to ask for your help.”

"Last time?" Conan looked at his father, his eyes searching.

“If our judgment is correct, the perpetrator of this crime should be Hades Shabala, a serial killer on the run,” Yusaku Kudo said. “His mother was seriously ill, and in order to raise money for her medical expenses, he decided to gamble in the stock and gambling markets. In the end, he lost everything, and then he killed his debtors and the friend who advised him to invest in stocks.”

Conan's lips twitched; it seemed the culprit this time was a vicious and ruthless individual.

"Not only that, he also blew up the hospitals that refused to operate on his mother, causing a lot of casualties." Sheriff John looked at Conan. "He's a super dangerous guy, kid. You'd better hide well. If he catches you, you'll die a horrible death."

“John, he’s my son, not an ordinary child,” Yusaku Kudo said with a hint of helplessness. “Your little tricks won’t scare him.”

"Hey, isn't your son Shinichi Kudo?" John asked, somewhat shocked. "You had another one?"

Chapter 292 Cipher Verification

Yusaku Kudo looked somewhat embarrassed, but in order to get Conan involved in the case, he could only nod reluctantly and then consider how to explain the matter to Yukiko.

"Dad, what's this about the bomb? Does that guy even know how to use bombs?" Conan asked nervously.

“He doesn’t know how to use bombs, but he met a woman named Hestia during his escape. She’s a bomb expert and has military experience.” Yusaku Kudo shrugged. “Perhaps for some social reasons, she helped Hades a lot. Hades’ bombs were all made by her. Am I right, John?”

"Can you stop bringing this up?" John said, somewhat exasperated. "That woman is dead. We confirmed through DNA testing that the mangled body that was blown to pieces was hers."

"His partner who made the bomb is dead, so how could he have committed the crime?" Conan asked, somewhat puzzled.

“It could be a companion’s belongings, or it could be that he learned how to make bombs during the operation.” Kudo Yusaku took the A4 paper. “The most urgent thing is to determine his target. The hospital that refused to operate on his mother was destroyed. Logically, he shouldn’t have a target.”

"He gave us the code this time, probably because he's planning something big, like last time," Sheriff John said with a hint of helplessness. "Mr. Kudo, are you confident?"

"Whether we're confident or not, we'll only know after we try." Just as Yusaku Kudo finished speaking, Conan's phone rang.

Conan looked at the caller ID and felt a toothache; he didn't want to answer the call.

"Answer it. He must have something important to tell you," Yusaku Kudo said.

Conan answered the phone somewhat helplessly and turned on the speakerphone. Soon, Shinjo's voice came through.

"Hey kid, have you found your dad yet?" Shin-chan's slightly irritating voice came through the microphone.

“I’m right beside him,” Yusaku Kudo interrupted, “So, Mr. Shinjo, what advice do you have for me?”

"It looks like you've already received the code. Do you need a hint?"

"Mr. Shinjo, how do you know about London? You're in London, right?" Conan suddenly became excited. "Where are you?"

“I haven’t even arrived in London yet,” Newtown coughed. “Just tell me if you need it or not.”

"Although I really want to refuse, this bombing could cause a huge number of casualties," Yusaku Kudo said. "Then I'll shamelessly ask for a hint."

"You're really shameless," Xincheng said irritably. "Hades lost money because of two things: stocks and sports betting. He placed a huge bet on the Queen of Grass, but she lost, which resulted in him losing everything."

“That makes sense. The biggest event in London right now is Wimbledon,” Conan said, staring at his father. “If we’re talking about making a big splash, there’s no better place than the Wimbledon finals.”

“And he gave the code to Apollo, the Meadow Queen’s brother.” Sheriff John lowered his head in thought. “Does that mean he wants revenge on the Meadow Queen?”

“There are two more pieces of information.” Xincheng coughed. “The Grass Queen’s mother is blind, but she still goes to watch her daughter’s games. And the old lady doesn’t like sitting in the VIP section; she prefers to sit among the regular spectators. Her mother didn’t attend the game the Grass Queen lost.”

After saying that, the phone call ended.

Holding the cipher in his hand, Yusaku Kudo said with a wry smile, "This guy's intelligence work is really impressive. He's already seen through Hades' plan. This cipher..."

"Dad, how did Uncle Shinjo find out so much?" Conan asked, somewhat puzzled.

In Japan, it could be explained by the intelligence network he had built up over many years, but now that he's come all the way to London, how could he have gathered so much information in such a short time?

“There are two possibilities. One is that he is Hades,” Yusaku Kudo said with a smile. “The other is that he has identified himself with Hades and is analyzing the case from the perspective of the criminal.”

"From the criminal's perspective?" Sheriff John was a little confused. "What do you mean?"

“If I were Hades and I wanted to make a big splash, I would definitely choose a crowded, bustling place,” Conan said. “Nowhere is busier than Wimbledon. Then I would start by investigating the Wimbledon players, checking the connection between Wimbledon and Hades, eliminating possibilities step by step, and finally finding the truth.”

"Leave the code to me. I'll try to crack it." Kudo Yusaku looked at his son. "The job of catching the criminals is yours, John. Please take care of my son."

"No problem, I'll definitely take good care of the little detective." John rubbed Conan's head.

"Dad, now that we know the truth, why are you still fixated on the code?" Conan asked, somewhat puzzled.

“It’s not that I’m obsessed with codes, but I want to be on the safe side. Deduction is, after all, deduction. To turn deduction into a complete chain of evidence, we need physical evidence.” Kudo Yusaku waved the A4 paper in his hand. “I’ll go verify it.”

Conan sighed, feeling that his father was being overly cautious, which was partly due to his lack of understanding of Shinjo. Having cooperated so many times, that guy's reasoning and intelligence had never been wrong; even the evidence he presented to deliberately mislead the investigation was genuine.

“Leave this to me!” Conan said. “I think that guy will definitely be keeping an eye on things from the shadows. I’m just a kid; even if he sees me, he won’t care too much.”

“That’s true.” Yusaku Kudo nodded. “I was the one who cracked the code last time. If he sees me, he might do something drastic.”

“Um…” Looking at the father and son who had settled things, Sheriff John raised his hand, “Could you let me feel a little involved?”

On the other side of the car, after hanging up the phone, Xincheng picked up a map and began to determine their current location.

"We'll be in the London suburbs in thirty minutes," Stout said, driving. "Mr. Newtown, has something happened again? How does it relate to Wimbledon?"

According to Xincheng's description, it seems a bomber has his sights set on Wimbledon, planning to detonate a bomb at the Wimbledon finals and create a big news story. As an MI6 agent, he still has some sense of justice, and he doesn't want such a thing to happen in London.

“It’s just like you thought. That bomber named Hades had his mother seriously ill and needed surgery. When he didn’t have enough money, he could only pin his hopes on the stock market and the gambling market, hoping to get rich quick.” Xincheng shrugged. “He placed a huge bet on the Queen of the Grass, but because his mother wasn’t there, she played poorly and lost the game. This directly led to his corruption and his decision to take revenge on society.”

“Miss Karen should be able to locate him, I’ll go and take care of him,” Stout said immediately. “This dangerous guy…”

“I know you’re in a hurry,” Shinjo said with a smile. “The ones in charge of stopping him are the Kudo father and son, both renowned detectives. Trust them. If all else fails, we’ll step in. Besides, getting weapons takes time, doesn’t it?”

"But……"

"Don't forget, our goal this time is to retrieve Ai Haibara and Akemi Sera. Don't get our priorities mixed up."

“Yes.” Stout nodded somewhat reluctantly.

It was only then that he remembered he was just an employee working for someone else, and he had no right to ask his boss to do anything. Besides, his boss had already given those two famous detectives so much information. If those two detectives still couldn't stop the bomber, they could just jump into the Thames and commit suicide.

In a hotel in London

Kogoro Mouri was devouring the food on the table. He had finally come to a fancy restaurant, and it was a buffet with someone else paying the bill. It wouldn't be in his nature not to eat his fill and get his money's worth.

"I didn't expect Shinichi's parents to come too," Ran said with a hint of helplessness. "I was planning to go with Shinichi..."

"Why are you thinking about that guy?" Kogoro Mouri said, finishing his steak. "I saw them this morning. They said there's a case at Scotland Yard that they need to handle together."

"Dad, you're a detective too, why don't you go?" Xiaolan looked at her father with some reproach.

Looking at his daughter, Kogoro Mouri was also a little tired. "Come on, I came here to have fun. It's too tragic to have to work while traveling in London. Besides, my English is not very good. I can't understand what the London police are saying or the evidence they are submitting. I would only cause trouble if I went. I'm not going, I'm not going."

"Dad~"

"Xiaolan, you can't play with that brat just because you want to..."

"father!"

"Fine, fine, I'll go, I'll go, okay?" Kogoro Mori finished his tea in one gulp, cursing the brat who had caused his little darling to be exposed to the elements.

But before he could finish eating, he saw Conan return.

"Kid, didn't you go to handle a case with your dad? Why are you back already?" Kogoro Mouri asked, somewhat puzzled.
