Hogwarts: Me? Fight Voldemort?

“I understand!” Ginny nodded emphatically, as determined as a sprinter at the finish line, and sprinted away from the auditorium.
After the sentimental little girl left, Hermione couldn't help but laugh and asked, "How are you going to get Harry and Ginny... you know?"
"In the end, it depends on how well they get along," Jimmy said with a smile as a plate appeared in front of him. "Let them be, the banquet is about to begin."
As soon as he finished speaking, a large amount of exquisite food and pumpkin lanterns appeared on the long table.
……
Right below the auditorium, a banquet was also being held.
The candles on the walls of the dimly lit underground hall were all extremely thin, arranged together like a series of eerie white claws, with blue flames burning at the top, their light offering no warmth whatsoever.
Harry, Ron, and Draco huddled together unconsciously because of the continuously dropping temperature around them.
Ron watched the ghosts going in and out of the walls and said uneasily, "Harry, I think we should go back. This isn't a place for the living."
Draco had initially considered backing out, but when Ron brought it up first, he immediately pretended to be indifferent, saying, "If you're scared, you can go back first, Weasley."
"Fear? I don't know how to spell that word, but I knew it when I saw your face, because it's written all over your face."
Once the two started arguing, all feelings of fear vanished.
Suddenly, a sound like a thousand fingernails scratching a blackboard made all three of them stand up straight, their body hair standing on end in horror.
The sound of fingernails scratching a blackboard had a rhythm, like some kind of peculiar music.
As they approached a corner, they arrived at the main hall of the anniversary celebration and saw the ghosts playing music.
Nick, nearly headless, stood beside a doorway, draped in a black velvet drape, and said to the only three living people present, "My dear friends, welcome, welcome... I'm so glad you could come..."
The welcoming remarks sounded rather somber, and Nick didn't seem happy at all.
“Shall we look around?” Harry suggested.
The three of them then began to wander around the hall, and the sight before them was unbelievable.
Hundreds of milky-white ghosts swung around in the crowded dance hall, waltzing to the music of thirty musical saws, the music of which the three of them found jarring.
The band playing this music sat on a stage covered with a black cloth, and judging from the expressions on their transparent faces, they seemed to be completely absorbed in the music they were playing.
“I think we’ve come to the wrong place. This isn’t a place for the living,” Ron complained again, since there was nothing here except ghosts and awful music.
Even Malfoy, who was deeply in love with Harry, couldn't stand it here. "I shouldn't have come. Jimmy is probably enjoying a meal upstairs."
Harry was a little embarrassed by their complaints; it would be too unfriendly to leave so soon after the party had just started.
"Look, there's food over there."
Suddenly, through the transparent bodies of several ghosts, Harry saw plates full of food on a table at the edge of the hall.
The three felt a little better and walked around the ghost blocking their way, only to be driven back by a stench. The plate was full of rotten, smelly fruit and moldy stew that had been sitting for at least 100 days.
"I should be upstairs enjoying a delicious Halloween dinner, not sitting here facing maggot-infested tripe and a bunch of ghosts!" Draco couldn't take it anymore; he had to leave.
He had just turned around when he was startled by a female ghost floating in front of him, which made him let out a short scream.
Harry and Ron turned around and saw a female ghost wearing a school robe, short and plump, her melancholy face half-hidden by long hair and thick glasses.
“You don’t want to see the ugly, pitiful, sullen, weeping Myrtle, do you?”
The white ghost is the weeping Myrtle in the women's restroom on the second floor. She is always sentimental and has a bad temper, and she can't even control herself at the death anniversary party of Nick, who was almost headless.
"Who are you?" Draco asked, looking completely bewildered. He didn't recognize Myrtle. "Who would want to be with you?"
Neither Harry nor Ron knew Myrtle, since they had never been inside the women's restroom on the second floor, and few people had ever mentioned Myrtle.
Upon hearing Draco's words, Moaning Myrtle suddenly cried out, "Yes, who would want to see poor Moaning Myrtle? Do you think I don't know that? You must all be thinking, who would like to see a crying, ugly freak!"
“No, we didn’t.” Harry felt a headache coming on from the shrill crying in his ears.
Ron and Draco both covered their ears, but this only made Myrtle's cries even sharper and more piercing.
The crying also attracted Mischievous Sprite, whom all the students dreaded. "Look! Potter is bullying Myrtle! Hey everyone, come and see! Potter has made Myrtle cry!"
Harry glared angrily at Peeves, who was wearing flowery shorts in the sky, and yelled, "Shut up, Peeves! I didn't!"
"Hahaha! Let's play a game. We score points by hitting Myrtle the Crybaby with peanuts!" Mischievous Ghost grabbed a moldy peanut from the table and kept throwing it at Myrtle.
Chapter 129 It's all Malfoy's fault!
Fortunately, Pippi was quickly scared away by Barrow, who was also attending the anniversary party, but the three of them became the focus of attention.
Nick, who was almost headless, also noticed the commotion and floated over to ask them, "Have you had fun?"
Even though Draco had previously clamored to leave, he still unconsciously passed the problem to Harry when facing the real Harry.
Harry forced a smile and said, "Oh, I'm happy..."
"The turnout is satisfactory," Nick said proudly, his brow furrowing slightly. "The Weeping Widow came all the way from Kent... Oh! My turn to speak is coming up, I'd better go and give the band a heads-up..."
Harry and his two companions all smiled stiffly, as if they might have to wait for Nick to finish speaking before they could leave.
Several people regretted coming here; they should have been enjoying delicious food and the warmth of the fireplace in the auditorium.
I really hope someone comes and rescues them!
Perhaps Merlin heard the prayers in the hearts of the three, for a petite red-haired figure burst into this gathering of the dead.
"Ginny?" Ron was the first to recognize her and waved in surprise at Ginny, who was rushing around.
This place is so big, and it's full of overlapping ghosts that it's hard to tell which way is which.
Fortunately, Ron's words gave Ginny the right direction.
Nick, who was nearly headless, saw Ginny's arrival and said happily, "Another little Gryffindor! This party is getting more and more lively!"
“Harry…” Ginny completely ignored her foolish brother, her eyes were only on Harry. She lowered her head and came to Harry, her words becoming stuttered again, “I, I came to find you… ah, no, it’s the professors who are looking for you, they want you to go back.”
“Go back?!” Harry was just looking for an excuse to leave, so he immediately pretended to be regretful and said to Nick, “Sorry Nick, I think we have to go. The party was great.”
Ron and Draco were also very excited, wishing they could thank Ginny a hundred times on the spot.
“Oh, it’s alright. Since the professor is looking for you, you should go back first…” Nick, who was almost headless, was saying when he heard a neighing sound of horses. He immediately said in pain, “Oh no, I have to go deal with things over there.”
Harry, Ginny, and Ron walked outside eagerly. Ginny moved away from Ron and stood next to Harry Potter, so excited that her steps were almost unsteady.
Suddenly, a group of white ghost knights rushed out from the walls of the hall. These knights were wearing various kinds of armor and carrying their own heads in their hands, rampaging through the crowd.
One knight even passed right through Ron, shouting, "Hey ha! Nothing can stop our charge!"
Ron rubbed his chilly body, feeling increasingly nostalgic for the warm fireplace in the auditorium.
Once they emerged from the underground, Harry was finally able to ask Ginny which professor had contacted him.
“No professors have come looking for you…” Ginny had never been this close to Harry before, her heart pounding wildly. “Yes, I read about the Ghost Party in a book, and I was worried about you…”
She repeated what Jimmy had taught her, but the more she spoke, the softer her voice became, until finally she lowered her head and almost bumped into the wall around the corner.
Ron sensed something was off about Ginny's words. "Why 'you' instead of 'you all'? I'm your brother!"
Draco, never one to miss an opportunity to stir things up, taunted, "When someone has someone they like, who cares if it's their brother or not!"
"You!" Ginny glared at Draco, her thoughts exposed, and felt both ashamed and indignant.
Although Ron disliked Draco's words, he knew his sister's attitude towards Harry Potter, so he put on his older brother's airs and said, "I don't object to you two. Harry is my good brother, he actually..."
"Stop talking!" Harry, who had been caught in the middle from the beginning, was extremely anxious and covered Ron's mouth with one hand.
He didn't have those feelings for Ginny, and overwhelmed by shame, he had to shut Ron up.
He could keep Ron under control, but he couldn't keep Draco under control.
“If Pooh is going to marry the Weasleys’ little sister, I’ll definitely give him a huge present!” Draco, with his foresight, said this while keeping his distance. “Don’t worry, Ginny… I should call you that, it’s too much Weasley. Ginny, you can kiss her now, Harry won’t refuse.”
"Do you tube!"
Ginny was angry now, mostly from embarrassment, like two close elementary school friends being teased by others to kiss each other, feeling both shy and angry.
"Malfoy!" Harry released Ron and chased after Draco.
Draco started to run away, shouting, "Why? I'm helping you, Pott!"
"Don't run!" Ron was also chasing Draco. Although he didn't think it was a big deal for Ginny to be with his best friend, he was determined to kick Draco while he was down.
All three of them ran away, leaving Ginny standing there like an outsider.
Ginny was so anxious that she stomped her feet on the spot. It was supposed to be a perfect thing. Jimmy's plan was flawless, and she had won Harry's favor.
But why did it turn out like this?
It's all... Malfoy's fault!
And the last time too, it was all because he attracted all of Harry's attention, that wretched Malfoy!
They even joined in the commotion, ruining such a great opportunity. How despicable!
I haven't even exchanged more than a few words with Harry Potter yet!
After venting her anger to herself for a while, Ginny also started running and quickly returned to the bustling auditorium.
When Ginny returned, she saw that the wretched Malfoy had not gone back to the Slytherin table, but was sitting to Harry's left and Ron to his right.
With no seats available on either side, she had to sit to Hermione's left, while Jimmy sat to Hermione's right.
"Is the plan not going well?"
When Hermione and Jimmy saw that Harry, the other two had returned first and hadn't seen Ginny, they knew that the plan wasn't going well. They would have to ask Ginny to find out exactly what was wrong.
Then Ginny started complaining that Draco and Ron, the two of them, were around Harry and there was no longer any romantic feeling between them. They kept teasing her like idiots.
"What should I do now?" Ginny looked to Jimmy for help. She thought Jimmy's plan was good, but the two troublesome guys around Harry ruined it.
If Harry were the only one in the Great Hall, she could naturally take a walk with him in the basement, circle the castle three times, and then return to the Great Hall for a meal together.
Jimmy was struggling to suppress his laughter. After thinking it over, he couldn't come up with a good solution. "We can only let things take their course. You can try to build a good relationship with Harry first."
"There's a Quidditch match coming up soon, right? You can give Harry some water after the match and say a few words of encouragement. Over time, Harry will definitely understand!"
"Hmm, is this okay?" Ginny asked hesitantly.
Hermione imagined Ginny bringing water and nodded, "I think it's a good idea."
