"I must say, Warwick's brain is far more useful than your police database," Isaac scoffed.
Although what I said was a bit hurtful.
"Tell me the conclusions of your investigation."
“Oh.” Chad didn’t dare to be negligent and immediately said, “Besides the bodies you took away, I gave the remaining bodies to Dr. Theo and found something different.”
"Ok?"
“The Twilight Race who were attacked were all in their prime; ordinary people really don’t have the ability to kill them,” Chad said, glancing at Isaac. “I mean, ordinary people.”
"You don't need to emphasize it, I understand what you mean."
“Then I’ll continue. The cuts on the corpse are extremely clean, usually enough to cut a person completely in half with a single stroke. This level of skill is something that only a high-level Twilight Race could accomplish, and it’s hard to find anyone else who could do it,” Chad said. “Currently, we suspect Corsica did it, but that guy is anti-Twilight Race and wouldn’t hire Twilight Race members for his family.”
After the Corsicans tampered with the forensic department at the police station, the police already suspected who was responsible. However, considering that the Corsican family would not hire people of the Twilight race, the matter became suspicious once again.
"The head of the Corsican family, I remember, was a man named Uranus."
"Yes."
“It seems they’re the masterminds behind this too.” Isaac’s voice was somewhat gloomy. “They certainly won’t let the Twilight People join their families, but they will actively hire them.”
"What do you mean?"
“Just now, I encountered a group of people hired to deal with my Twilight race,” Isaac said. “The family that hired them is Corsica.”
"Just now... wait, were you talking about Dog?"
He recalled the scene he had witnessed on the rooftop of Dr. Theo's clinic, and it was he who had called Gina and her team to inform them that something had happened.
"How is the child now?"
"You know him?"
"We met once years ago."
“He was fine; Ms. Pakuri took him back,” Isaac said.
Seemingly feeling a bit annoyed, he took out a cigarette from his pocket and put it in his mouth.
"Right now, how many people in the entire Yelkastum know that IW is the power behind me?"
"Currently, only the government and some of our police officers know about this."
Chad rubbed his head. Due to the events of the past few days, he was already old and had a full head of white hair, and now he could feel his hairline receding.
"Yes, that's why they can act with such impunity."
"So what do you plan to do? Go and settle scores with the Corsican family?"
“Of course, this family must be eradicated.” Isaac smiled. “I don’t want to hear their name again.”
--------------
Isaac's operation began the day after his meeting with Officer Chad.
He summoned his soldiers to carry out a direct demolition of the known Corsican shops, with drones dropping missiles from the air, and then the soldiers rushed in to eliminate the survivors.
On the first day, in Yerkastum, you could see the smoke of gunpowder filling the air wherever you walked down the street.
Originally, gang fights here were just street brawls, and the residents got used to it after staying here for a long time.
But when the missile was brought out, they were clearly taken aback, and immediately locked themselves inside, even locking the windows. Some citizens even began seeking government assistance.
This isn't just a gang fight, this is war!
Damaged cars were everywhere; anyone identified as a member of the Corsican family was to be shot without question. This was Isaac's order for this operation.
In just one day, the death toll has exceeded 1,000.
This is more than the total number of gang fights that have occurred in Yelkastum in a single year in the past.
Chapter 560: A Frenzied Attack
"Damn it! Who did this?!"
Inside the luxurious room, an elderly man, in a fit of rage, smashed his ashtray, shattering a valuable oil painting on the wall into pieces.
The old man was Uranus Corsica, the leader of the Corsican family.
"One day! Five weapon shops and a brothel reduced to ashes! Which family did this?" Uranus roared. "Cristiano? The Monno family? Or that damned Twilight Race mercenary group?"
“Boss, the ones who bombed our shop this time all looked like regular troops, not some other faction,” one of the officers said. “Everyone was wearing special operations uniforms, bulletproof helmets, and metal masks. We have no idea which faction it was.”
"Tsk."
Uranus, as the leader, himself had no clue what to do.
His family had been attacked by other families before, and fires in Yıldırım were commonplace.
But usually, when someone comes to cause trouble, it starts a gunfight between the two sides. Then the side with more casualties retreats, and the two families sit down to discuss who owns the land.
But what happened today was extremely strange.
It became clear that the other party was not after territory, and their methods were completely different from those encountered before.
In most gang shootouts, submachine guns are used, and at most a sniper might be hired for an assassination. But he had never seen an organization like this one that directly used missiles and grenades to attack them.
He almost thought he had offended the country's army.
"Leader, could it be the newcomer?" someone asked from the side.
"Newcomer? You mean that brat named Isaac?" Uranus frowned. "Is that kid really that capable?"
He knew Isaac. As an anti-Twilight race member, Uranus deeply resented Isaac's open protection of the Twilight race, and it was he who gave the order to assassinate him.
But Gina took him away, and in order to distance himself from the situation, he couldn't ask for any further details.
"Chief, don't you find this strange?" the man asked. "The government shouldn't allow any organization to openly protect the Twilight race, something even the Cristiano family can't do."
Although the government issued the "Three Principles" twenty years ago, which seemed to protect the Twilight race, it was actually still very disadvantageous to them. Their ultimate goal was to eliminate the Twilight race.
Take the Cristiano family as an example. They made their fortune by selling drugs and do not have the right to take in the Twilight race. If the government finds out that their family is helping the hunted Twilight race, they will try to make things difficult for them.
"Yes, is there a problem?"
"That guy named Isaac runs a factory and hires a lot of Twilight people. It seems like just a normal employment agreement, but he recently built dormitories for the employees. This is clearly a sign that he doesn't take the government's orders seriously."
What are you trying to say?
“He may have amassed such power that even the government is afraid of him.” The man’s face showed a hint of fear. “Think about it, the Twilight People who died before had their employees, and the police immediately started investigating like madmen. Now they’re probably close to investigating us.”
Damn it!
Uranus must admit that this is indeed a possibility; the government's silence on Isaac's blatant protection of the Twilight race must be due to being threatened.
If someone can threaten a country, then the power behind that person must be terrifyingly large.
If what happened recently was indeed done by Isaac's people, then they must be trying to teach him a lesson.
They even planned to annihilate him in one fell swoop.
“If he does that, the balance that has been maintained in Yerkastum for the past twenty years will be broken, and the city will be in chaos. Doesn’t he understand that?” Uranus slammed his fist on the table, furious.
“What if, Chief—I mean, what if,” the person next to him spoke up again, “what if all Isaac wants is to plunge this city into chaos?”
"What did you say?"
“Yelkastum is controlled by our four major powers. The pie that was due has long been divided up. Many gangs have come to this city in the past twenty years, but none of them have made much money.”
"That's true."
"But if the balance is broken and the entire city is reshuffled, who do you think is most likely to stand at the top, Chief?"
"..."
The answer is undoubtedly that Isaac, with his overwhelming strength, will seize him when the city is in chaos.
"What a madman!"
“Don’t worry, Chief, we can’t be sure yet whether it was Isaac who attacked us,” he said.
“We can’t think of anyone else but him.” Uranus’s face was so dark it could drip water.

The scene shifts to Isaac, who looks at the weapons shop engulfed in flames and laughs:
"This should be the fifth one."
As they spoke, a group of soldiers dragged the people inside out of the burning building and threw them to the ground.
"Gentlemen, could you tell me where that old scoundrel Uranus is?" Isaac asked with a smile.
"Hmph! I won't tell you..."
Isaac, still smiling, raised his hand and pressed the pistol against Isaac's forehead.
"Wait……"
boom!
Blood splattered everywhere, and the man instantly collapsed to the ground.
"Gentlemen, everyone's time is very precious. Your only value to me is information," Isaac said with a smile, looking at the people being dragged out. "Everyone's time is precious. If no one is willing to talk, it will save me the time of questioning."
After he finished speaking, he began to count down in his mind.
The Corsican family members were filled with terror, but they knew that if they leaked the information back, they would also face death. They were caught in a dilemma.
"Okay, time's up." Isaac snapped his fingers. "Execute them all."
"Wait a moment!"
"I don't want to..."
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang...
Several crisp gunshots rang out, and everyone fell into a pool of blood.
"You, report on the current situation."
Isaac casually pointed to one of the soldiers and asked.
"Report: There have been no casualties on our side so far, with five people sustaining minor injuries."
Of course, no one was injured. Isaac used the heavy howitzer mounted on the top of the factory to bombard nearby areas, and a single shot brought down several-story buildings.
