“Oh, thank you, Delis!” Dumbledore said with a smile. “Bobby, let’s go downstairs now. Thanks to you, our school’s dormitories may be getting expanded.”

Chapter 103 The Beating of the Fourth Heart

The master and apprentice walked toward the auditorium. The principal's office was on the eighth floor. They walked down the tower, talking as they went.

"Bobby, is there anything special in the menu for tonight's dinner?"

Bobby rolled her eyes. "I haven't been in the kitchen since last year. You're asking me? I don't know either!"

“What a pity,” Dumbledore shook his head, “I still miss the well-behaved and sweet little Bobby from before!”

Bobby: You can keep this to yourself, but it's pointless to say it to my face.

Thinking that to herself, she said, "I try to make different dishes for you every year, but after so many years, there are only so many dishes that suit you. It's not that easy to come up with something new."

Dumbledore chuckled and said, "It doesn't have to be suitable for me. I can try it even if it's not suitable for me! I'm already so old, I just want something new."

Bobby pouted: "You'll die young!"

Dumbledore was about to tease Bobby with a joke when he saw her suddenly standing there motionless, her eyes unfocused.

"Bobby? What's wrong?"

Hermione covered Crookshank with her cloak, while Harry and Ron covered Hedwig and Piglet's cage with their formal robes.

“This damn weather,” Ron cursed. “I envy Bobby, she can go wherever she wants.”

Jady's voice came from behind: "You envy Poppy? You didn't see how hard she studied. She has more than a thousand magic notebooks in her dorm room, and each one is three inches thick!"

The beautiful Ravenclaw Flower walked past Ron, carrying an oil-paper umbrella painted with orchids. This umbrella was enchanted with a powerful waterproof spell, so even the heaviest rain wouldn't wet her—it was specially made by Brother Li, and its quality was absolutely guaranteed.

Jady walked straight ahead without even glancing at Ron, but her words were clearly directed at him: "You're already in fourth grade, and all your magic notebooks combined aren't as thick as one of hers?"

Ron's face turned bright red. A magic notebook? What was that? He never touched pen and paper except for homework and exams.

Ron quickly found a way to deflect the awkward situation.

The giant's imposing stature remained striking even in the current downpour.

Harry and Hermione waved to Hagrid as well.

Harry glanced at the hundreds of new students and said worriedly, "With so many people being ferried across at once, can Hagrid manage it all by himself?"

Luna's ethereal voice came from behind: "I heard that a group of new students walked the Founder's Path at noon, but three of them fell into the lake and were rescued by the giant squid."

"Hey, Luna!" Although Hermione wanted to argue with Luna as soon as she saw her, they had known each other for a while, so she still had to greet her.

"Hello, Hermione. The weather wasn't this bad at midday. I think the new students here are in for a rough time."

She looked up at the sky, and raindrops slid around the umbrella and hit her face.

The Thestrals began to move, the massive silhouette of Hogwarts castle looming in the dim sky, with flashes of lightning occasionally streaking across the heavens.

It was only 4:30 pm, but the surroundings were as dark as 8 or 9 pm.

Harry pulled Ron along.

"Come with me, Ron! The freshmen are in trouble!"

Harry braved the heavy rain and got off the carriage, rushed to Hermione's carriage in front, and knocked on the door.

Jady then cast a waterproof spell on everyone and said, "I'm going too."

Luna didn't say anything and jumped off the carriage.

The wind and rain grew stronger, and the waves rose higher and higher. When Harry and his group of more than a dozen people arrived at the Black Lake, they saw small boats capsized everywhere, and Hagrid was pulling newborns ashore one by one.

Several enormous tentacles emerged from the black lake, rapidly rescuing the newborn life.

But with a total of about three or four hundred new students, and Hagrid with two arms and an octopus with eight tentacles, how could they possibly save them all in such a short time?

So Harry and his friends' arrival was a huge help.

The wave was enormous. To Harry, it was almost higher than the Quidditch post. If it crashed down, not only would they have to go into the lake to feed the fish, but the Thestrals in the distance would also likely be affected.

The news that more than half of the students were killed or injured at the start of the new school year at Hogwarts will probably shock the entire British wizarding community!

I don't even know if I'll survive.

The young wizards all stopped what they were doing and looked up at the giant wave.

Ever since she discovered that Poppy's Animagus were magical creatures from China, she made a special trip to read the Chinese version of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"—the "Classic of Mountains and Seas".

"This is a beast that brings floods; wherever it appears, a great flood will follow!"

Ron pressed his hand to his chest, his heart still pounding. He groaned, "Even a flood wouldn't be like this! This isn't a flood! This is like Titans dumping their foot bath water!"

The Fuzhu stood on the lake surface and cried out to the sky.

The giant wave that had been suspended in mid-air immediately shrunk back into the Black Lake, and in just a moment, the entire Black Lake became calm.

Even the torrential rain in the sky subsided, leaving only a few scattered raindrops.

The Black Lake seemed to have come to life, and the current automatically carried the little wizards who had fallen into the water back to shore.

Snape stared intently at the white figure, his eyes already brimming with tears.

Fu Zhu walked back to the shore, shook his body, and transformed into human form.

"Bobby!"

Bobby went limp, and Dumbledore immediately caught her.
