The King of Flags at Hogwarts

Suddenly, a rumbling sound came from the black lake, and a huge whirlpool appeared on the surface of the lake. A black mast rose from the whirlpool, and soon, in the gray mist, a large ship appeared on the dark lake.
Karkaroff, dressed in silver fur, stepped off the ship with a broad smile and greeted Dumbledore warmly.
Behind him, Viktor Krum, still with a gloomy face, followed closely behind his principal.
He glanced at the crowd and thought, "Hmph, there are quite a lot of people from Hogwarts."
His gaze lingered on Bobby. The girl, dressed in a wizard's robe, stood proudly in the cold wind, her wine-red hair flowing freely behind her head, just like that moment on the World Cup final field.
Krum nodded slightly, as if to greet Bobby.
Ron nudged Harry: "Look! Harry, it's Krum!"
Harry nodded. "Yes, it was him."
Ron said regretfully, "It's a pity, I used to really like him..."
He glanced at Bobby standing behind Professor McGonagall, then hesitated, as if he wanted to say something but didn't.
But only for a moment, his gaze was drawn to Fleur Delacour again, his eyes fixed on the silver-haired girl.
Hermione looked at Ron and shook her head; the boy was beyond saving.
Chapter 107 The Goblet of Fire (Part 1)
Bobby followed the young wizards of Hogwarts into the Great Hall.
She noticed that four chairs had been added to the faculty seating area. She knew perfectly well that two of them were for the principals of the two schools, and the other two were reserved for officials from the Ministry of Magic.
The dinner party began.
Professor McGonagall was beaming. She was very pleased with the guests' astonishment and delight at the food at Hogwarts. "Look at those big Durmstrang students," she said, "they almost got into a fight over a roast duck!"
Fleur sat on the Ravenclaw side, with Bobby, Jady, and Matilda sitting two chairs to her left, and Cho Chang and Luna sitting two chairs to her right.
This attracted the attention of almost all the male students in the auditorium.
Hermione noticed that Harry and Ron were also glancing over there from time to time, and she gave a slightly annoyed snort.
Harry realized that among all the beautiful women, Cho Chang might not be the most beautiful, but her temperament was truly pure. What was that word again? Serene? So he looked at Cho Chang far more often than at the other girls.
Harry never once looked at his cousin. Every time his gaze fell on her, he would automatically look away, simply because they were too familiar with each other.
When the dinner ended, Dumbledore stood up.
"The moment has finally arrived!" He opened his arms wide. "The Triwizard Tournament!"
"However, I need to say a few words before we officially begin."
"First, please allow me to introduce our two distinguished guests!"
"This is Mr. Li Xiaoxiang. I believe the senior students are already very familiar with him! He was our Defense Against the Dark Arts professor last year and is now the Director of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Magic!"
The students applauded enthusiastically.
"It's Professor Li!"
"It's Professor Li!!"
Jady clapped enthusiastically, her face turning bright red.
Bobby looked at Harry, who was also clapping his hands vigorously with a silly grin on his face.
Although this Mr. Li died once and suffered greatly in another world, he is now on your side. But strictly speaking, he is indeed your father and mother's killer, you foolish brother.
"This is Mr. Ludo Backman! The Director of the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the Ministry of Magic!"
There was still applause, but it was clearly not as enthusiastic as before; some students even sat down. If he hadn't been a renowned batter, the applause would likely have been even less.
Bagman patted his round belly and smiled somewhat awkwardly at the students.
"Over the past few months, the two gentlemen have worked tirelessly to arrange the Triwizard Tournament," Dumbledore said, seemingly oblivious to the fact that Li Xiaoxiang had only been in office for a few days. "They will join me, Professor Karkaroff, and Ms. Maxim to form the judging panel, responsible for evaluating the warriors' performances!"
Dumbledore gestured to Filch, "Mr. Filch, please bring the box up."
Filch was the only "student" who hadn't sat down at the table for dinner today; he had been waiting in a corner for a while. When he heard Dumbledore's call, he quickly carried the ancient wooden box inlaid with jewels and hurried over.
The students discussed it amongst themselves, but no one knew what was in the box.
After the students quieted down a bit, Dumbledore continued, "We will hold three competitions at different times throughout the school year to test the warriors' magical abilities, reasoning skills, courage, and of course, their ability to overcome danger."
"As you already know, three warriors will represent their respective schools in this competition. And the organization responsible for selecting these three warriors is—the Goblet of Fire!"
Dumbledore tapped the wooden box three times with the Elder Wand. The lid opened, and the old headmaster took out a wooden high school cup with blue and white flames burning inside.
Poppy sighed. Seeing the blue and white flames reminded her of Grindelwald.
During this Quidditch World Cup, the old man transformed into Jack Sparrow, protecting her the entire time and treating her like a granddaughter. Thinking back to decades ago, Grindelwald was ruthless and unscrupulous, but now… she had to admit, the power of time is astonishing.
However, Bobby glanced at the powerful and intense magic emanating from the principal's office on the eighth floor... Didn't that shameless old man say he would stay in Nurmengard from now on?
"Students who wish to run for Warrior, please write your name on a piece of parchment and drop it into the Goblet of Fire. You can register within 24 hours. Tomorrow night, Halloween Eve, the Goblet of Fire will select the name of the Warrior who best represents the three schools!"
"From now on, the Goblet of Fire will be placed here, and all students who wish to participate in the competition can touch it."
Karkaroff stood up at this moment: "I think it is still necessary for us to set an age limit. The Triwizard Tournament is too dangerous for young wizards."
Ms. Maxim nodded in agreement, “That’s right! An age limit must be set! Your previous rejection of this proposal was unreasonable in itself.”
Dumbledore looked at the two men with amusement. The students they brought were all over 17 years old, so they were worried about the safety of the Hogwarts students.
Innocent!
Did you think setting an age limit would stop Bobby Evans from competing?
The old principal chuckled and said, "I have no objection. Since it was suggested by the two principals, then let the two principals set the age limit themselves!"
Bobby, sitting in the audience, watched with a cold smile as the two principals set up age lines around the Goblet of Fire. Karkaroff set one line, and Maxim, worried that it wasn't safe enough, set up another.
After finishing the setup, Karkaroff gave himself a provocative look.
Li Xiaoxiang remained silent on stage, sighing inwardly: "As expected, my previous Death Eaters were all a bunch of idiots. They truly demonstrated the futile attempt of trying to stop a chariot with a mantis's arm and throwing an egg against a rock."
"Since the two headmasters have set age limits for the students' safety, I have two more things to say," Dumbledore continued.
"Once chosen by the Goblet of Fire, a magical contract is formed that must be obeyed. Once you become a warrior, you cannot change your mind. I hope everyone will think carefully before deciding whether to cast their name into the goblet."
Alright, it's time to go to sleep now. Goodnight everyone.
"The age line!" The Weasley twins' eyes lit up. "I think there's something we can hide from it!"
"An anti-aging agent!" ×2
Hermione shook her head. "I think we haven't learned enough. I'm afraid young wizards under 17 can't..."
Before she could finish speaking, Bobby stepped forward from the crowd.
She smiled and glanced at Karkarov and Maxim, then took out a piece of parchment from her bosom and wrote her name on it.
The Hogwarts professors watched with loving eyes as the graceful young woman walked steadily toward the Goblet of Fire.
The age line set by Mrs. Maxim instantly emitted a white light, and a tremendous force pushed Bobby towards him.
But Bobby ignored it and strode forward with unwavering steps, the power emanating from the barrier unable to hinder her at all.
As Bobby landed, Maxim's age line barrier shattered into glittering fragments, like broken crystal, and vanished into the air.
Mrs. Maxim's face was grim; such overwhelming power...
“Your magic is beautiful, Mrs. Maxim,” Bobby commented with a smile.
Bobby continued forward, and as she approached Karkaroff's age line, a black mist suddenly enveloped her.
Karkarov sneered, but the students below immediately started to clamor.
"This is black magic!"
"Damn it, how dare he use dark magic in this situation? Is he planning to kill someone?"
“I know, Karkaroff was once a Death Eater!”
Durmstrang's students were ashen-faced; they were utterly powerless to defend their headmaster. The black mist was "Corrosive Mist," a particularly malevolent form of dark magic.
Viktor Krum gave Karkaroff a gloomy look, feeling dissatisfied as well, but he knew that such a small trick wouldn't work on Bobby Evans.
Only after fighting her did he realize just how powerful she was. After returning home, he specifically researched all the information about Bobby Evans, and the results astonished him.
With a soft sound, the black mist was swept up like by a tornado, swirling and flying into the air, revealing an unharmed Poppy in front of the Goblet of Fire.
Bobby pointed a finger at Karkaroff and said softly, "Return it to you!"
As soon as he spoke, the black mist flew rapidly toward Karkarov. During its flight, the black mist gradually solidified, and when it was still twenty feet away from Karkarov, it had already transformed into a black sword.
The sword was both fierce and swift. Karkaroff watched in horror as the black sword shot towards him, and he released two shields in quick succession.
The sword easily pierced his shield, as if cutting through tofu.
Karkaroff was shocked. He tried to use Apparition but found he couldn't. He quickly swapped places with a vase behind him, but the black sword seemed to traverse space, moving with him for more than ten feet in the air, still heading straight for his head!
Just as he was at a loss and waiting to die, the sword stopped three or four inches in front of his eyes.
A bead of cold sweat slid down Karkaroff's forehead. At the same time, Bobby dropped the parchment with his name on it into the Goblet of Fire.
She turned and left without even glancing at Karkarov and Maxim.
Chapter 108 The Goblet of Fire (Part 2)
After Bobby left, the young wizards all ran back to their dormitories—almost no students carried paper and pens with them like Bobby did.
Although there were academic high-achievers like Hermione and Jady who brought paper and pens, they were very self-aware: Poppy had already signed up, so what was there to compete for?
However, there are still those who are smarter than average but not quite so. For example, the Weasley twins, who went to Hermione and borrowed paper and pens from her. Now that Poppy has drastically lowered the age limit, isn't this their best chance to enroll?
Therefore, the second and third people to sign up naturally became George and Fred.
The two laughed and high-fived each other, then happily walked back to the Gryffindor common room with their arms around each other's shoulders.
Students flocked to sign up.
Although Dumbledore told the children to go and rest, who would follow the school rules on such a special day?
