Pokémon, Ash's art style is off!

but!

Pikachu is Pikachu!

Ash's Pikachu is indeed very strong, but there is an insurmountable gap between it and Blastoise!

Blastoise!

"Use the water cannon!"

Xiao Mao's lips curled up again.

Blastoise has more than one cannon on its body!

As soon as Xiao Shi gave the command, Blastoise adjusted the angle of the two secondary cannons that grew on its arms after evolution, aiming them all at Pikachu!

At the same time, a bright blue light, identical to that of the main gun, shone from deep within the barrel of the secondary gun, and the three muzzles aligned in a straight line, locking onto the target!

A muffled thud.

The water gushed out!

Although not as powerful as the main cannon on its back, Blastoise has gained the upper hand with the support of these two attacks!

Seeing the water cannon, whose diameter was several times that of Pikachu, about to rush towards him, Ash made a quick decision, a glint of light flashing in his eyes!

"Pikachu! Quick, use Quick Attack to get out of the way!"

"Pickup!"

Upon hearing this, Pikachu decisively released the Thunderbolt wrestling attack, its four claws exerting tremendous force, and its entire figure instantly transformed into a golden afterimage.

It darted out diagonally, skimming the ground, and in a narrow escape, the water jet grazed the tip of its tail and rolled across the ground behind it!

"boom--!"

The water cannons, having lost their target, crashed to the ground, carving deep furrows into the surface!

Gravel mixed with mud splashed around the field, but Pikachu didn't stop.

A golden afterimage traced an arc as it sliced towards Blastoise's side at incredible speed.

Its powerful physique allowed it to get close to Blastoise before the blade could even turn its cannon around!

"A million-ton punch!"

Pikachu clenched its right paw.

Although the fist appeared tiny in the face of Blastoise's enormous size, the power it contained was not to be underestimated!

Shigeru's gaze was fixed intently on Pikachu's trajectory.

After suffering a loss last time, how could he possibly fall for the same trick a second time?

Of course, I did targeted practice!

"Iron Wall!"

Upon hearing this, Blastoise stopped attacking.

Its thick arms retracted, its neck and limbs suddenly contracted and sank, and its whole body was covered with a layer of metallic silver light!

At the same time, the fist slammed into the side of Blastoise's shell!

"Bang--!"

A dull thud was heard.

The shockwave from the punch dispersed the remaining steam, revealing a clear view.

However, the leap in physical attributes brought about by Mega Evolution, combined with the physical defense bonus from Iron Defense, makes it a significant advantage.

With two lines of defense combined, Blastoise's defensive capabilities have reached a despair-inducing level!

Pikachu's punch, powerful enough to shatter a giant rock, only caused it to slide back a step!

Not even a crack was left on the shell!

"In that case! Use Lightning Fist!"

Ash decisively changed his move.

If physics won't work, then use enchantments!

"Pickup!"

At the same instant, Pikachu's left paw flashed with blinding electric light.

Crackling golden arcs of electricity coiled around the claw tip, and a punch was aimed at Blastoise's forehead!

No matter what kind of Pokémon it is, the head is always the area where weaknesses are concentrated.

Especially in turtles, the density of nerves in their heads is unparalleled!

If that punch landed squarely, Blastoise would definitely be in for a world of hurt!

"I won't let you succeed so easily!"

Xiao Mao snorted coldly.

"Use high-speed rotation to counter!"

Upon hearing this, the Blastoise abruptly retracted its limbs and head into its shell.

The entire enormous tortoise shell began to spin wildly in place!

The steel-like shell sliced through the air at high speed, and Pikachu's Thunder Punch was deflected by the spinning force the moment it struck.

Not only were the lights bounced away, but their bodies were also thrown out by the centrifugal force!

The disadvantages in terms of physical size were fully exposed at this moment!

"Pikachu—!"

The pickup truck somersaulted three times in the air, and when it landed on all fours, it slid back several meters before finally regaining its balance.

It blew on and shook its right paw, which was slightly numb from the shock, and looked at the still buzzing steel turtle shell with some apprehension.

It seems that not only has it become stronger, but the turtle shell on the other side has also become much harder!

Although there was no other way, the confident mouse remained completely calm!

Unlike other Pokémon, the hamster has an external brain!

"Pikachu?"

Pikachu looked at Ash.

Ash's gaze fell on the thin layer of water on the ground.

"Use 100,000 volts on your feet!"

Pikachu's eyes suddenly lit up.

It truly lives up to its reputation as an external brain for hamsters!

Almost without hesitation, Pikachu slammed its front paws directly onto the ground!

The entire area was still covered with a thin layer of water from the water cannon attack, and water is a conductor!

Golden electricity spread out in all directions from under Pikachu's paws like a spider web!

The electric light spread along the water film at an incredible speed, instantly covering the entire area around Blastoise!

The electric light traveled upwards, seeping into the interior of the wet tortoise shell.

Although the iron wall strengthens physical defense, electric current is not blocked by physical barriers!

The water rocket's body, which was tucked inside its shell, was directly devoured by the electric current!

"Crack—!!"

Blastoise let out a muffled groan, and enveloped in a burst of electricity, its rotation visibly slowed down.

Cheers erupted from the stands!

"You can still fight like that?! No wonder you're such a little brat... I mean, Ash!"

"That's right, meow!"

"It's done! Blastoise's been paralyzed by the electric shock! We're safe now!"

The audience clenched their fists in excitement.

Blastoise was being continuously eroded by the electric current, its rotation speed slowed down, and its entire defensive posture was crumbling. Just one more shot and it would be—

Blastoise stopped spinning, and just when everyone thought the outcome was decided.

But it poked its head out from its shell.

Despite not being electrocuted, Blastoise's face bore scorch marks from the electric shock, but its eyes remained bright and full of fighting spirit!

"Ripples of water—!"

The turret was aimed at Pikachu again, and the water that had been prepared in the cannon barrel condensed and took shape. The next moment, it was fired at close range!

Pikachu was still maintaining its Thunderbolt attack, completely unaware that its opponent could retaliate.

The water ripples slammed into it, sending its small body flying!

The audience was stunned to see that Blastoise seemed to be unharmed.

"This...this isn't right!"

"That 100,000 volts hit! Blastoise is a Water-type, so Electric-type attacks should be doubled! How does it still have the strength to retaliate?!"

"And the power of that water wave doesn't seem to have been weakened much at all!"

"Attribute advantages and disadvantages are gone? That doesn't make sense!"

An uproar erupted in the stands.

Looking at the overturned Pikachu, Shigeru smiled proudly.

Don't understand? That's exactly right!

It was worth it that he fed Blastoise a lot of Candlefruit berries for breakfast before the competition, which temporarily enhanced its electric resistance!

Watching Blastoise shake its head, the lingering electric light on its shell quickly dissipating, Shigeru's smile widened even further.
