Just trust Liz, trust her, and you don't need to think about anything else.

A strange yet intense thought surged into my mind, almost destroying any urge to resist or defy.

She was powerless to resist, much less to protect Liz under these circumstances. Since the situation was already so bad, it couldn't possibly get any worse, so why not simply trust Liz?

It's okay, don't be afraid. You don't need to do anything or think about anything. Just leave the rest to Liz.

Liz wouldn't deceive her, much less hurt her, would she?

"It's alright, Shining."

Nightingale rested her cheek on the smooth, shimmering back of the girl and continued softly, "It's alright, just bear with it for a little while, and you won't feel any discomfort or pain later."

A sweet smile, almost to the point of madness, appeared on her pretty face, and she said in a sweet and gentle voice:

"Give up, Shining. Leave the rest to Liz. It's alright. We'll still be very happy together in the future. The suffering of this land will no longer concern us. We'll live happily in a place without any suffering."

It sounds like some kind of unrealistic fantasy, yet it gives people an incredibly real feeling.

Absolutely no falsehood.

The life Liz describes is one full of joy, happiness, and bliss every day.

All suffering will forever depart from them.

"No... Liz, it's not like that, wake up!"

The remaining sanity and consciousness caused tears to well up in Shining's red eyes again. She shook her head repeatedly at the Nightingale behind her, trying her best to refute and tell herself that the beautiful and happy life, the life where no one would suffer, was purely a lie fabricated by evil gods.

They will only be met with an incredibly terrible and tragic fate.

Perhaps, that would indeed be happiness, but that kind of happiness would absolutely not be for them... it would never be for them...

Shining was unable to maintain this idea.

Compared to her conscious refusal to acknowledge the truth and her words that refused to admit it, her body was telling her with absolute honesty that it was indeed a future filled with joy, happiness, and bliss.

Once they reach that place, they can live a happy life.

Nightingale lifted her face from Shining's beautiful back, gazing into her red eyes with her deep blue eyes, which faintly revealed a heart pattern, and softly said in a gentle yet resolute voice:

"Trust Liz, okay? Shining. It'll be alright, it really will be alright, you just need to be patient a little longer."

Shining glanced up at the terrifying, monstrous demon that was right in front of her, so close that she could easily feel its scorching heat, like a red-hot fire poker in a fireplace, and the corrupted god who wielded it.

How could I not be afraid?

Shining turned her head and focused her gaze back on Nightingale. Just as she was about to say something, her eyes were drawn to a purple-pink pattern on Nightingale's body.

The intricate and magnificent patterns, bordering on the bewitching, faintly emanate a dark light filled with an aura of decadence, giving one an intense sense of depravity with just a glance.

Liz...

In that instant, Shining knew that she had ultimately failed to protect Nightingale.

The nightingale has completely fallen from grace and has now become part of the lament of fallen grace.

"It's fine."

Nightingale maintained her gentle smile, lightly tapping Shining's cheek and softly comforting her again, "It's alright, it's not as scary as Shining imagines."

A soft, warm little hand wrapped around Shining's delicate hand, and Nightingale's beautiful eyes gazed at Shining, giving her a gentle nod of encouragement.

Then, she guided Shining to raise her lotus-like arm and slowly extend her hand toward the hideous, terrifying demon covered with horrible, knotted veins.

No...no...no!

Liz, stop, stop... If you do that, there will be no going back.

That is not a beautiful and happy life, but an eternal depravity, which means offering one's body, mind, and even soul to an evil god, eternally serving an evil god that symbolizes depravity and love.

Shining was unable to break free from Nightingale's grasp.

The surge of warm current had almost completely drained her strength, leaving her feeling weak all over and unable to muster any more energy.

Moreover, the deity symbolizing depravity and pleasure had already reached out and grabbed her silver hair, controlling her brutally and without the slightest mercy.

Beneath the crystal-clear, radiant skin, her fingertips, glowing with a beautiful crimson, touched a hideous, terrifying demon covered in grotesque, tangled veins.

Her voluptuous and slender body trembled violently, as if it had been touched by a red-hot iron.

Unbeknownst to her, her rosy eyes, now clouded and hazy, trembled slightly as Shining sensed her last remaining consciousness dissolving away.

It's so hot.

It's like fire, like lava.

Why is it so scary?

It was so hot and scalding that it almost boiled one's soul.

But why do I feel so happy?

The feeling of happiness was so overwhelming that it almost suffocated people.

no more...

"It's okay, Shining, just relax."

The nightingale's soft, encouraging words reached her ears once more. Shining swayed her head and then realized that her Liz was not only leading her into the abyss, but that Liz was also silently trying to do more bad things.

Shining's hand descended and grasped Liz's other hand that was wandering over her body, trying her best to suppress Liz's ill intention to help her pearl fall faster.

However, she couldn't even handle the Nightingale at this moment. The feeling that almost made her soul boil was also eroding her last bit of strength, leaving her without the ability to even deal with Liz.

"Huh?!"

Shining's crimson eyes suddenly widened, filled with disbelief.

The lips and teeth have been compromised.

They wantonly plundered and looted... as if they wanted to take everything from her.

The corrupt, evil deity suddenly leaned down and kissed her.

It was filled with a sense of sadism and predation, completely disregarding her feelings.

139 The Shining is actually a good fit~

Dazzled and mesmerized.

My heart was filled with excitement.

Brutal and extremely wild.

Yet it is also filled with joy, pleasure, happiness, and bliss.

Everything is lost…

Shining's red eyes widened slightly for a moment before finally closing them slowly.

"Hmm, isn't this a good thing?"

As Nightingale watched the look of ecstasy gradually appear on Shining's snowy face, the smile on her lips widened, becoming even sweeter.

Isn't this a good thing?

The Shining no longer has to feel guilty about her past.

She knew it; she always knew it.

The Shining has always been enduring inner torment and suffering.

The torment stemming from his past as a Sarkaz pardoner.

He suffered countless deaths and desecrated countless souls under the Sarkaz regime he once served, tormented by the conflict between his commands and his inner self.

It wasn't until he met her that he chose to be true to himself, to no longer be bound by loyalty or orders, and resolutely chose to take her away from that dark area full of suffering, using their strength and beliefs to change this land full of beautiful girls.

He longed for redemption and also for forgiveness for the evil deeds he had committed as a pardoner.

But is that really a good thing?

Forcing oneself to move forward with memories of past suffering and a sense of atonement would be too painful and arduous.

Using sin to sustain oneself will eventually destroy one's mind and spirit.

Shining has always been a very good person.

She shouldn't be tormented day and night by guilt, shame, and memories of the past.

The Shining deserves happiness; she deserves a joyful, happy, and fulfilling life.

"It's alright, Shining, everything will be alright."

Nightingale tapped Shining's ear again. "From now on, you don't need to feel sad about those things anymore. Me, you, and Miss Nearl, we will always live happily together."

She looked up at the deity she served, the greatest deity in her heart.

'O God, the God whom Liz serves eternally, the suffering accumulated in Shining's heart is about to crush her. Please grant her joy and happiness, so that she will no longer be tormented by the past.'

The nightingale prayed sincerely for the Shining.

As an offering to the gods, she leaned out her head, offered her soft, fragrant lips, and gently touched them.

"Liz?"

A look of disbelief appeared in Shanling's crimson eyes.

She couldn't believe, or even imagine, that the nightingale would willingly offer her lips to the demon that cast a terrifying shadow over their faces.

Raising her head once more to stare directly at the hideous demon before her, Shining's breathing became shallow and trembling. The deep-seated fear made her instinctively shrink her shoulders and tighten her legs, which were slumped on the ground.

A clearer sensation came from Su's hand, and Shining realized that Nightingale had somehow moved her hand from her palm to the back of her hand.

It was as if he was helping her, or as if he was pressing down on her hand.

In direct contact without any gaps or separations, the sense of touch becomes incredibly clear.

So clear that even with my eyes closed, I could precisely visualize the outline and appearance of that demon, so close yet so full of depravity, in my mind.

So magnificent...

Her hands were so slender and delicate...

Beneath its grotesque, ravine-like veins lies a terrifying heat akin to magma, so horrifying that its knotted edges feel like torture instruments scraping flesh, causing palpitations and suffocation.

How could I not be scared?
