"Times have changed. This guy has at most found the legacy of a great demon..."

"This is a hot potato..."

Several people in the corner smirked, their eyes filled with greed as they looked at Luo Bai.

"Dean, you've stumbled upon a ghost!" the red-clad dancer exclaimed, a strange glint flashing in the depths of her eyes.

At this moment, Yi Lan's feelings became extremely complicated.

"This guy...he's been hiding a lot."

...

"As part of the effect handling when [City of Illusions] is activated, I search for [Sariel, the Cursed Eye Dead Apostle]!"

Luo Bai said confidently.

"Activate another effect of [Ancient Fairy Dragon]".

"Special Summon [Sariel the Cursed Eye, Dead Apostle] from your hand..."

That's the moment he puts the card into the Duel Disk.

A violent cracking sound exploded in my mind.

It's like a ferocious beast is ramming against a wooden door, causing it to crack open, as if something is yearning to break free from its seal.

The 3D projection of [Sariel] slowly rose up.

That image struck my mind again, like a needle pricking me.

A demon-exorcising girl sat on him, relentlessly stabbing him toward his heart with a short blade, slashing wildly...

A strange feeling welled up in Luo Bai's mind, and he couldn't help but furrow his brows.

It hurts! It's a headache!

"Activate... [The Cursed Eye of the Moon]... Equip [Sariel]..."

His eyes were tightly shut, his face contorted in pain, and like a blind man, he shakily placed the cards onto the duel disk by touch.

The frantic, hoarse voice kept echoing in my mind.

We've all been fooled...

[It's not about dispelling... it's about commanding!]

Luo Bai suddenly opened his eyes, and a shocking red light burst forth from his right eye.

An eerie aura spread out, and the grizzly bear gasped in shock, its legs going weak.

"Hey, hey, hey... what's going on here...?"

Many people shivered and hugged themselves tightly, feeling inexplicably cold.

“Activate the effect of [Sariel].” Luo Bai uttered in a hoarse, low voice like a zombie, “When this card is equipped with [Cursed Eye of the Moon], once per turn, destroy one Special Summoned monster on your opponent’s field.”

Bury him!

Sariel gave a cold laugh and clenched his fist sharply into the void.

"Bam—"

A surge of black energy enveloped the [Cartoon Black Magician], causing it to shatter instantly.

"[The Cursed Eye of Taiyin] Effect..."

"Activates whenever the equipped monster activates its effect or another [Cursed Eye] Spell/Trap is activated. Increases the equipped monster's ATK by 500 and reduces its Life Points by 500..."

A pale blue line connects Luo Bai and [Sariel].

Basic score reductions typically occur in two ways: [payment] and [damage].

The Cursed Eye possesses a unique quality of loss.

Unlike [Payment] which can avoid death, or [Damage] which can be mitigated by card effects.

Just like a river flowing into the sea, it cannot flow backwards or be stopped.

Life force was infused into [Sariel], and electric arcs spread all over Luo Bai's body like crawling insects.

"Hehehe..."

Blue side LP: 6000 → 5500

[Saliye] ATK: 1600→2100

The scene of feeding the monster with one's own body was shocking, and the entire audience was terrified.

"madman..."

The Grizzlies seemed to have their worldviews shattered, letting out trembling murmurs.

My turn is over.

Luo Bai said in a deep voice, "It's your turn."

Two previous characters: [Ancient Fairy Dragon], [Sariel]

The three queens: [Naraku], [Qiangtuo], and [Taiyin]

Venue: [City of Illusions], Hand 1, LP 5500

"My turn," Grizzly Bear gritted his teeth. "Draw a card—"

"At this very moment!" Luo Bai launched a sudden attack, "Activate the [Sariel] effect!"

"Destroy the Red-Eyes Toon Dragon!"

Sariel smirked again, clenching his fist as if he were choking Red-Eyes Toon Dragon from a distance.

"Bam—"

Dense black energy poured into the [True Red-Eyed Cartoon Dragon], causing it to be strangled and explode in response.

"【Cursed Eye of the Moon】effect activated!"

Blue side LP: 5500 → 5000

"Ha ha ha—"

Eerie laughter echoed through the sinister dungeon, as joyful as returning home.

[Saliye] ATK: 2100→2600

Chapter 196 Duel in the Cage (5)

...

"white..."

"You must not hurt yourself."

...

After Lingyi left.

Philina handed a card to [White] and said:

"Listen to me, this card wants to go to you."

My intention was to cheer him up, but he felt guilty for being down for too long.

[Bai] glanced at it briefly and said indifferently, "Liar, it's not an epic card, it can't express itself at all."

"Tsk, just tell me if you want it or not!"

"want."

...

"Dean, are there any details about the [Sariel] effect during the card draw phase?" The red-clad dancer turned to look at Yi Lan, her large eyes full of curiosity.

Yi Lan sighed slightly and patiently explained to her, "【Red-Eyes Cartoon Dragon】has a monster-pulling effect in its main phase, so it must be destroyed before entering the main phase."

"I see. Then why not prepare for a phased bombing?" the dancer in red asked, listening intently.

"【Sariel】After destroying a monster with its second effect, you must destroy one of your own cards during the next Standby Phase. If it activated its effect once last turn, it will activate it again during the Draw Phase this turn."

Yi Lan went on to explain that she usually acts like a teacher.

"After two card failures, you enter the same quasi-level."

"Doing this will only cost you a card."

"If you destroy a monster during the preparation phase, you will have to destroy one of your own cards in the next turn."

"I see!" the dancer in red exclaimed in realization, pounding her hands. "This way, we can not only effectively utilize the effect of [Sariel], but also minimize the loss of our own board presence."

Looking at the intelligent yet somewhat unconventional girl in front of her, Yi Lan felt a pang of regret, as if she were a disappointment to her.

Learn more from other people's details.

"It will be of great help to you in the future."

...

"Get ready..." Grizzly said nervously, clutching the card.

"【Sariel】is guaranteed to activate." Luo Bai interrupted him again, "Destroy 【Cursed Eye Threshold - City of Illusions-】!"

The phantom of the Devil's Castle shattered like glass.

"【The Curse Eye of Taiyin】will always activate its effect."

"[Sariel] Attack power increased by 500 points, base points lost by 500!"

Blue side LP: 5000 → 4500

The scene, reminiscent of a blood draw, sent chills down everyone's spines.

[Saliye] ATK: 2600→3100
