Yu-Gi-Oh!: This card wants to go to you.

Chapter 481 Elegy of the Destroyer - Karl (8)

"Tremble before the Supreme Mechanism!" The Pharaoh's eyes widened as he uttered a somber declaration, "I will stack the level 8 [Crimson Puppet] and [Wailing Bull]!"

"Listen to the strings of the underworld!"

Xyz Summon!

"NO.40!"

"【Mechanical Puppet - Heavenly Strings】!"

Mechanical Puppet. Heavenly String Musician (You didn't expect that, did you? I only have one card available).

"Boom—" A huge symbol of [NO.40] appeared in the void, and a huge mechanical figure slowly rose up accompanied by the cold sound of an orchestra.

“【Heavenly String Player】…” Karl narrowed his eyes.

This is the old card; most people know its effects. It might not be very effective on its own, but it becomes extremely terrifying when combined with upgrade magic.

"Luckily, I didn't have any cards in my hand..."

He was only celebrating for less than two seconds.

The Pharaoh waved his hand and pointed to the graveyard: "Graveyard [Rank-Up Spell - Emergency Chaos Force] effect, can only be activated when you Special Summon a Rank 5 or higher Xyz Monster on your field."

"Add this card to your hand!"

"Advanced magic..." Upon hearing this, Karl's eyes widened.

The air grew heavy and oppressive, and everyone held their breath: "To advance to the Chaos Realm..."

"I'm not afraid... even if it blows up once... it won't kill me..."

A small number of people began to comfort themselves.

Previously, the "Transaction Rollback" option was "Return," and now the red team only has 4000 base points.

"Activate the [Heavenly Strings] effect!" the Pharaoh said in a deep voice.

"Remove one Xyz Material and place 1 Line Counter on each of the other face-up monsters on the field."

[Heavenly String Player]’s eyes shone with golden light. With a gentle swing of his sword, the blade flashed across the entire arena.

"Ding ding ding ding ding—"

A clear, melodious piano tune rang out in the void. All four monsters on Karl's field, and the Ice Sword Dragon and Chimera Puppet on God's field, were marked with indicators, as if target marks were being attached to death row inmates.

This line indicator is no good.

Karl stared intently at the battlefield, his pale face covered in cold sweat.

“Blood loss…” Luo Bai stared intently, his heart heavy.

"Hey, hey, hey—hang in there!" The crowd finally noticed Karl's physical condition, and the shouts that had been silenced for a long time started up again.

"【Demon Realm String Musician】Only cuts three thousand..."

"They will survive."

"Hang in there a little longer, keep going!"

This hard-won hope must not be destroyed again.

The Pharaoh glanced at the surrounding crowd, smiled faintly, and instead of immediately activating [Chaos Ascension], amidst the astonished gazes of the crowd, he pointed to the graveyard: "Activate the graveyard's [Lamenting Ox] effect!"

"Remove 1 Xyz Material from the field, Special Summon this card from the Graveyard!"

If the Special Summon is successful, it can also Xyz Summon an Rank 8 monster to the Ice Sword Dragon on the field.

Karl was startled and immediately followed up with a chain reaction: "Activate the effect of the card [Abyssal Beast Baldornosaurus]!"

Abyssal Beast Baldorosaurus

“Exclude the [Lamenting Ox].”

Special Summon 【Bardornosaurus】from your hand!

A cry that sounded like both a bird and a dragon rose up, and the [Bard Bird Dragon Beast] swooped down from the sky and grabbed the [Lamenting Four Directions Bull].

Amidst hoarse struggles and wails, it was sent to another dimension.

"We've got it under control!" The crowd jumped up and clapped in celebration.

"Hmph—" Karl tilted his head back slightly, letting out a sigh of relief as he gave a contemptuous smile just like the one on the seahorse.

The Pharaoh narrowed his eyes, his voice tinged with anger: "A duel like this can't bring smiles."

Don't be fooled by the twelve sheets he had piled up before.

Remove the six miscellaneous cards: [Red Mermaid], [Ancient Guardian], [Transaction Reversal], [Virtual World], [Shadowbeast], and [Reversal of the Real and the Underworld].

There are actually only six cemetery plots left.

The Bloody Doll is excluded from the Scale Insects.

The Killer Knight eats the Skeleton King.

The "Terrifying Baby" eats the "Iron Beast Bird".

[Necromancer] Jumps one card.

[Chaos Ascension] Returns one card to your hand from the graveyard.

Of the twelve cards originally piled up, only one remains unknown.

The [Lamenting Four-Sided Bull] that I just summoned from the deck was snatched away by [Bard Bird Dragon Beast].

god--

Actually, there aren't many resources.

He was driven to the brink of death by a human.

"Hahaha, you're really something!" The old man laughed loudly and suddenly waved his hand toward the graveyard.

"In that case..."

The cemetery was illuminated by a purple light, as if it were a live imprint.

"Activate the effect of [Shadowbringer's Chosen] in the Graveyard!"

"Exclude this card and [Shadowdome], and change the face-down [Nightmare] to face-up Defense Position!"

Finally, the previously unknown cemetery became clear.

"Oh no." Luo Bai's heart sank.

Once this [Nightmare] is flipped over, the eight stars on the divine field become two again.

Karl gritted his teeth, feeling utterly helpless.

"I'll stack the level 8 [Ice Sword Dragon] and [Nightmare]!" The Pharaoh's aura was overwhelming.

"Let yourself succumb to fantasy!"

Xyz Summon!

"Rank 8, [Mechanical Puppet - A Fan Fantasy of Mechanical Descent]!"

Mechanical Puppet - A Fan Fantasy of Mechanical Descent

"Hahaha--"

The Pharaoh and the newly arrived [Fan Fantasy] both wore the same maniacal laugh.

I can't tell the difference right away.

Is it God laughing, or is it the card that's laughing?

“This card is…” Karl’s pupils dilated suddenly.

For the first time in all this fighting, he panicked.

"Activate the effect of [Bard Bird Dragon Beast]!"

"Liberate the [Druid Scale Worm], and exclude the [Fan Fantasy of the Machine Descent]!"

The Bald Bird Dragon Beast soared into the sky, opened its massive mouth, and emitted a piercing sonic boom.

"Hmph—" the Pharaoh said coldly, "When the [Hell Puppet House] was present."

"The 'Goblin' monsters on your field cannot be destroyed by battle, and are unaffected by effects activated by opponent's monsters other than Xyz Monsters!"

"What?!" Karl's eyes widened in shock.

It is not affected by the effects activated by monsters other than Xyz Monsters.

Not only did it block the [Bard Bird Dragon Beast], but it also rendered the [Druid Scale Worm], which had just been sent to the grave, meaningless.

"Hehe—" A chilling laugh echoed through the Doll House.

Countless vengeful spirits surrounded [The Fan Fantasy of the Machine Descent], blocking the sonic attack of [Bard Bird Dragon Beast].

"Hahaha--"

The Pharaoh and Kaling burst into wild laughter at the same time.

"Activate the [Fan Fantasy of Mechanical Descent] effect!"

"Remove an excess material."

"Add [Rank-Up Spell - Emergency Chaos Force] from your deck to your hand. You may summon one more Machine-Type monster this turn."

Two upgrade spells in hand.

"The trial begins—"

He turned over a card, and the temperature in the room plummeted.

"Activate [Advanced Magic - Emergency Chaos Power]!"

"Tier 8 [Heavenly String Player], single-target stacking!"

"Chaotic Multidimensional Transformation!"

"The culmination of humanity's millennia-long wisdom, resurrected in the form of a demon!"

"Rank 9!"
