Yu-Gi-Oh!: This card wants to go to you.

【White Girl】

【The Lament of the Pearl-Tear Clan: The Mermaid of Merlo】

"Got it!" Shen Shen laughed like a bird. "Hahaha, it's in the bag!"

Luo Bai's face darkened, and his heart sank: "Oh no, we're going to get counterattacked."

"Hmph!" Yi Lan smiled and said, "I'll add [White Girl] to my hand."

"Activate the effect of [White Maiden], discard this card from your hand, and place [True Light] face-up in your Graveyard."

"then--"

"Activate the effect of [True Light], and draw..." from your deck.

Her voice suddenly faltered, and her pupils trembled slightly, as if she were lost in thought.

Luo Bai frowned and asked softly, "What's wrong?"

"Why did Yi Lan stop?" Shen Shen asked, puzzled, turning to look at Mickey.

Mickey shook his head. Even he, who always knew everything, couldn't understand Yilan's situation at this moment.

“I…” Yi Lan stared at the cards in her hand, her voice trembling, but slowly becoming firm, “I’ll activate the effect of [True Light]!”

"Special Summon the Blue-Eyes White Dragon from the Graveyard!"

Upon hearing this, Luo Bai, Shen Shen, and the others were all taken aback.

"Why not use [Prayer]?" Shen Shen habitually turned to ask Mickey. "Using [Prayer] to replicate the second round's strategy, wouldn't that guarantee a win?"

Mickey thought for a moment and guessed, "Activating [Prayer] requires discarding a card from your hand as a price."

"Doesn't she have a useless card in her hand?" Shen Shen was even more confused.

“That might be how it seems to us,” Mickey said with a smile. “But for her, it might mean something else entirely.”

Luo Bai stared straight at Yi Lan, his feelings somewhat complicated.

It seems he never really understood this girl.

Where does she live?

Who are your family members?

What is your birthday?

But he could sense her competitive spirit, which was at least stronger than Xia Sheng's.

She must have unfulfilled wishes, unforgettable wishes, in this life.

What is your wish?

He never bothered to find out; he only knew how to move forward, ignoring all inquiries, offering no help, and never looking back.

She didn't bring it up herself; she didn't want to hold him back and wanted to handle her own affairs.

Finally, tonight, the two arrived at the door at the same time.

Only one person is allowed to pass through the gate at a time.

"Activate the effect of 'White Maiden' from the Graveyard!" Ilan shouted resolutely. "If I successfully Special Summon 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon,' this card can be Special Summoned!"

A flash of white light appeared, and the blue-eyed white dragon roared to the sky. In the light, the figure of a white-haired girl slowly emerged.

She landed lightly, clasped her hands in prayer, and a holy radiance enveloped the entire area, as if an angel had descended.

"Activate the [Hall of Light] effect."

"Target [White Girl], send [Blue-Eyes White Dragon] from your Deck to the Graveyard, and increase the targeted monster's ATK by 800."

"Chain activation of the effect of [White Maiden], Special Summon [Blue-Eyes White Dragon] from the Graveyard!"

A blue-eyed white dragon soared into the sky, its silvery-white scales dazzlingly bright. Its dragon might was overwhelming, and the white-clad girl appeared small and holy in the dragon's shadow.

“One becomes four.” Luo Bai’s eyes twitched as he read this.

"Activate the effect of the Graveyard's [Prayer], banish this card, and equip [True Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon] from the Extra Deck to [Blue-Eyes White Dragon]!" Ilan raised his hand and shouted.

"I will upgrade the star rating of the level 1 [White Maiden] and the level 8 [Blue-Eyes White Dragon]!"

Synchro Summon!

"Tear through the darkness!"

"Level 9, [Radiant Storm Dragon]!"

A beam of white light shot into the sky, transforming into a dazzling storm, with the dragon's shadow appearing and disappearing within the pillar of light.

Ilan waved his hand forward and shouted, "Activate the effect of [Radiant Storm Dragon] to destroy the opponent's face-down card!"

Luo Bai frowned, pondered for a long time, and then waved his hand, saying, "Open the cover card - [Flash Blade Activation - Combo]!"

"Send the [Access Code Talker] to the Gravesite, Special Summon - [Sky Striker Princess - Shizuku]!"

The access code talker vanished as a stream of data, revealing a slender figure clad in a light blue mecha suit, her cold gaze fixed straight ahead.

"Huh? What do you mean by giving up a 5300-attack [access]?" Shen Shen asked, taken aback.

Mickey quickly replied: "The Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon will jump up from the graveyard, and the Visitor will be bounced away. It definitely won't stay, and it will break the spell."

"Oh..." Shen Shen nodded, seemingly understanding but not quite.

“Activate the effect of Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon from the Graveyard,” Ilan continued. “If any cards on the field are destroyed, this card can be Special Summoned.”

"Advance to the combat rank!"

"【Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon】, attack 【Sky Striker Princess - Shizuku】!"

The Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon spread its mechanical wings, its engine roaring deafeningly. It unleashed a blazing beam of energy, aiming straight for the sky.

Luo Bai said in a deep voice: "With [Shizuku] on the field, the ATK/DEF of monsters on the opponent's field decreases by 100 times the number of Spell Cards in your Graveyard."

"If there is a Light/Dark Attribute Sky Striker monster in the graveyard, [Chain Striker] will increase the ATK of the summoned monster by 1000."

A light blue curtain of light descended from the sky, and the dragons let out a mournful cry.

Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon ATK: 3000 → 2400

[Blue-Eyes White Dragon] ATK: 3000 → 2400

[Radiant Storm Dragon] ATK: 2700 → 2100

At the same time, a faint golden light rose from Shizuku's entire body.

[Sky Striker Princess - Shizuku] ATK: 1500→2500

"Their attack power has surpassed ours?!" Shen Shen exclaimed in surprise.

Mickey narrowed his eyes: "It's no use, the Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon can be cleared out."

"Activate the effect of [Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon]!" Ilan shouted. "At the start of the damage step, return [Shizuku] to your hand!"

A wave of air swept in, and Shizuku frowned as her mecha dissipated in the storm.

The attack power of the dragons has returned to normal.

"Activate the effect of [Zero Clothes] from the Graveyard!" Luo Bai said in a deep voice, braving the strong wind, "This card... is Special Summoned!"

[Shizuku] removes her mecha and reverts to her original [Zero] form.

"Useless!" Yilan waved her hand forward again, "[Radiant Storm Dragon], attack [Zero Clothes]!"

"Activate the effect of [Zero Clothes]!" Luo Bai quickly said, "Tribute this card to Special Summon—"

"【Sky Striker Princess - Soten】!"

[Zero Suit] dons emerald green armor and raises a sniper cannon.

"Attack power remains at 1500," Yi Lan said. "[Radiant Storm Dragon], attack [Sa Tian]!"

【Satian】Cracked and shattered amidst the brilliance and storm.

"Activate the effect of [Swift Sky]," Luo Bai said through gritted teeth, "to send [Zianos] from the deck to the graveyard."

With a deafening roar, a storm swept across the entire area.

Red side's basic score: 3300 → 2700.

"Huh?" Yi Lan was stunned, clicking her fingers and calculating blankly, "How come it's only 600 damage..."

"2700 minus 1500..."

"Shouldn't it deal 1200 damage?"

She stared blankly at Luo Bai, her eyes clear yet filled with confusion.

“That,” Luo Bai said, waving his hand gently, “After the Golden Pot is activated, the damage the opponent receives is halved.”

"Ah—" Yi Lan's whole body jerked violently, she grabbed her head, and exclaimed with her mouth wide open, "It seems like this is how it was!"

Chapter 700 The Final Duel (11)

"Contestant Yi Lan has forgotten the side effects of the [Golden Pot]!" Shen Shen said, trying to save face. "But she's so cute, let's forgive her!"

"Luo Bai's empty-handed performance is nothing more than a desperate struggle."

"Next round, with one hand, he'll flip his head over..."

Mickey added, "Not only are we empty-handed and empty-field, but we're also almost out of extras. We've used up all three of our [Liao Li]."

"The battle continues!" Yi Lan coughed, pretending to be nonchalant. "[Blue-Eyes White Dragon], attack directly!"

The blue-eyed white dragon flapped its wings and soared into the sky, opening its enormous mouth to spew out a blazing white beam of light.

Luo Bai raised his arm to block, but was knocked back several steps by the powerful impact. Smoke billowed all around, and the ground trembled violently.

Red side's basic score: 2700 → 1200.

Yi Lan pursed her lips and said, "The two-body link of [Radiant Storm Dragon] and [Blue-Eyes White Dragon]."

"Connect Summon!"

"Link 2, [Celestial Holy Seal]!"

Countless stone spheres filled the sky as she coldly declared, "End of round."
