Looking back, I realized I had unknowingly saved five or six hundred thousand words.

The first change occurred during the Spring Festival of 2023.

A small platform held a short essay contest with several topics, and I had an idea for one of them.

A cute girl stole her dad's account to try and bot the game, but was instead bot-bombed by the experienced newbie.

Isn't that an interesting idea?

However, this idea is not in the outline and may deviate from the main theme.

I thought, at worst, I can just reconnect to the original main storyline after the duel, I'm sure I can get back to it!

It turns out.

It can't be taken back.

After writing three duels in a row, several more characters were added, but the plot and atmosphere were completely ruined.

The most crucial point is that after finishing writing "Tears Facing the Sword," I urged everyone to update the story to over 100 chapters!

My goodness.

The first volume of the old manuscript had almost no duels; it was mostly a tragic story about working part-time to buy cards with Miss Mei.

Do readers seem to enjoy watching duels?

That was the most anxious day of my life. On one hand, readers were urging me to write more, and they probably wanted to see a duel, but there was no duel in the old manuscript.

Will it continue the story from the old draft, or create a new duel route?

After much deliberation, I chose the latter.

Create a new storyline without any existing drafts.

As you read through it, you should be able to sense that each of the book's several sections—KC, the League, the Ruins of the Gods, and the Underworld—is fine to look at individually.

The strange thing is that the different units don't have much contact.

This is a typical example of having no core storyline; the story just jumps around wherever the protagonist goes.

I still can't help but laugh when I think about the new "Water Machine" card.

The card hasn't even been released on YGO yet, but it's already been written into the book, and it doesn't feel out of place at all.

After many ups and downs, it's finally over.

The book has many flaws: the writing is immature, the plot is stiff, the romance is uninteresting, and the duels are sometimes buggy.

I have to go to work during the week, and when I get home I need to learn the new deck to play against the opponent.

A monthly book club competition with prize money will be held.

I also have to deal with some extreme comments; honestly, it's really tough.

Tomatoes really treated me badly.

The platform does offer many benefits, such as the XXX Award and the XXX Plan.

However, all benefits are not available to fanfiction fans.

The price per fanfiction is also the lowest tier. My old book gets 50 yuan for 3,000 reads, and Yu-Gi-Oh! gets 60 yuan for 10,000 reads.
