Giant of Light—now Ultraman, everyone seems to like this race name.

Their movements are swift and precise; once they discover Golza or Zoga hiding underground or in ruins, they immediately eliminate them.

The lowest level of R'lyeh is already connected to the core of darkness, and could easily trigger the dormant consciousness of the evil god. Therefore, they left this place untouched and added another layer to the original seal to ensure that Zoga would not be released.

Giants like Darram and Hitler were responsible for handling broader crises:

They ventured deep into the abyss where the earth had split open, infusing their own power of light into the turbulent continental shelf. While this couldn't heal the planet's wounds, it left behind a unique magnetic field.

Over the long years that followed, this seemingly weak force would continue to exert its influence, accelerating the process of the tectonic plates recombinizing.

Camilla and other giants skilled in energy manipulation constructed massive light barriers at several key locations—mostly the core areas of ancient civilizations.

Intricate energy patterns were etched onto the earth, forming enormous, faintly glowing magic circles before fading away. These barriers would merge with the surface, purifying the remaining darkness and preserving a relatively pure cradle for any new species that might emerge in the future.

In several other locations, a magnificent pyramid of light is slowly rising.

The giants infused it with a portion of their light energy, transforming it into a colossal energy beacon and sealing node, used to house their statues. In the future, when the holy war resumes, this will serve as a crucial medium for summoning them.

Even if they are no longer here, or their consciousness has gone to a very distant place, the light in the statue will seek out souls that can resonate with it.

The most arduous task was collecting the remains of their comrades...

The remains of giants, stripped of their light and turned to stone, were carefully retrieved from the ruins and transported to the upper levels of R'lyeh, where they were forever used to suppress the deepest darkness.

The giants did all this in silence, neatly placing their former comrades in their new homes, a scene both quiet and tragic.

Just as the work was nearing completion, the planet's lamentations reached their peak:

The earth began to collapse and annihilate on a massive scale. Former mountain ranges crumbled like sand towers, the ocean poured into the newly formed abyss, and magma surged wildly from the ground, mixing with the seawater and rising up thick smoke and water vapor that blotted out the sky.

The sky was dyed a sickly dark red, the violent heat tore at the atmosphere, and lightning, like mad silver snakes, danced and twisted wildly in the clouds.

The entire Earth's surface is undergoing a complete destruction and reshaping—only the latter will be much longer.

All the Ultramen slowly rose into the air, hovering in the sky that had become a death zone, silently watching down below.

Watching the world they once protected come to an end in agony, the sight... was filled with a suffocating sadness.

However, time will continue to flow forward no matter what!

—Except for one person.

It's time to say goodbye.

Tiga turned to Ye Shou, because most of the radiance remained in the stone statue, and the timer on his chest was not as bright as before.

But light exists in the universe as well as darkness, and the giants will eventually find a new home.

The other giants also looked over, their gazes focusing on Ye Shou, filled with a hint of reluctance but mostly with recognition and respect.

Ultraman Tiga's voice was calm and firm: "You, who do not belong to this era, should go back."

Ye Shou looked around at his comrades who had fought side by side with him, but were now about to part ways (perhaps forever), and his heart was filled with mixed emotions.

To be honest, they hadn't spent much time together, but perhaps because of the shared connection with the Light Factor, he felt very familiar with the giants, like old friends of many years.

"Incredibly, I don't feel much sadness in my heart."

"Because our meeting was a stroke of luck, it shouldn't end with tears."

— Tiga and Ye Shou exchanged a glance, just like when they first met.

They nodded to each other, then couldn't help but laugh: Who would have thought things would turn out this way?

No handshake or other ceremony or words are needed; one glance is enough.

"Everyone, for the future—"

The next moment, all the Ultramen raised their arms at the same time, releasing the remaining light power in their bodies without reservation!

Dozens of beams of light, each a different color but equally warm and bright, shone precisely on Ye Shou, like streams flowing into a river.

A powerful beam of light enveloped Ye Shou, bringing him an unprecedented sense of peace. Then, in his outstretched palm, a peculiar machine placed in a briefcase activated on its own, enveloped in the light.

Immediately, rainbow-like light appeared in the space before Ye Shou. It spun and compressed violently, eventually tearing apart some invisible barrier and opening a tunnel entrance that shimmered with spiraling light.

"—Blessings!"

Ye Shou took one last look at his companions, etching their images into his heart. As his figure disappeared into the tunnel, the light transformed into countless feather-like fragments that scattered across the ground.

"...Please take good care of yourself."

The giants lowered their arms, hovering above the crumbling world. They did not immediately enter space, but silently watched until the very last moment...

Chapter 251: Ultraman is Real (Bonus Chapter)

The early autumn sun hung warmly in the sky, its rays filtering through the sparse clouds and scattering across the slowly flowing river, creating shimmering, delicate golden light.

The river wasn't very deep, and it was a little cold. It was so clear that you could see the smooth pebbles on the bottom, the occasional small fish swimming by, and the silt at the bottom. In this era of rapid industrial development, it's not easy to find a river that hasn't been polluted at all.

Both banks were covered with a kind of weed that was half a person tall, which swayed gently in the breeze and made a rustling sound.

On the riverbank, three men wearing vests and quick-drying pants sat on folding stools, fishing rods in hand, their eyes fixed on the floats on the water. There were only a few small crucian carp in the bucket beside them, but this did not dampen their spirits.

The air was filled with the fresh scent of grass, soil, and river water, and the occasional distant bird call could be heard; everything seemed so peaceful and tranquil.

Being able to enjoy the fresh air of nature in one's spare time, instead of being dragged to social events by one's boss or accompanying one's wife to various community activities, is already a great blessing for these middle-aged office workers.

"Hey, Yamazaki, do you think we can catch a big one today?" A man wearing a sun hat nudged his companion with his elbow.

The man called Yamazaki adjusted his glasses and said slowly, "What's the rush? Fishing is about a state of mind, like Takeda Shingen said, you have to be as still as a mountain."

Look how composed Endo is.

"That's not Takeda Shingen, it's Sun Tzu's Art of War."

"By the way, did you guys watch episode 10 of 'Wind, Forest, Fire, and Mountain' yesterday?"

Just as his companion was about to speak, the fishing rod in his hand suddenly sank downwards!

The fishing line tightened instantly, and the rod bent into a breathtaking arc!

"Here it comes! That power!" the man exclaimed, gripping the fishing rod tightly with both hands. "It's definitely the River King!"

"Oh, that's quite impressive... Don't rush, take your time."

The underwater object was incredibly powerful, darting left and right, leaving messy ripples on the surface of the water as the fishing line moved.

The man's face turned red, his arm muscles tensed, and he engaged in a tug-of-war with the unknown prey underwater.

"Quick! Now, pull him up!" the man in the hat shouted.

Endo took a deep breath, exerted force with both arms, and began to slowly reel in the fishing line. A blurry black shadow gradually became clear from the bottom of the water.

"This...this shape is wrong?"

Finally, to the bewilderment of the three, the "prey" burst forth from the water with a splash—

It wasn't a fish at all, but a completely black suitcase of unknown material.

Seeing this, the three grown men were disappointed, but at the same time, a sense of "I knew it" arose within them:

As a seasoned angler, disappointment is a common occurrence, especially since there aren't many big fish in this river to begin with.

"Looks quite old."

Remembering the criminal investigation bureau he'd seen on TV, the man in the hat tensed up: "Could something be going on?"

"Boxes are obviously used to hold things, that's normal, right?"

"Idiot! I meant...don't you watch TV?"

"The underworld?"

"This isn't Tokyo Bay... let's hand it over to the police."

The box wasn't large, but it looked exceptionally sturdy. There were no markings on the surface, only some wear marks on the edges, and water droplets were constantly rolling down its smooth surface.

Just as the three of them were standing around the strange black box, pondering what to do with it—

Wow~

The once calm river surface was suddenly disturbed by a small ripple, which then rapidly expanded, creating a whirlpool several meters in diameter in just a few seconds!

"What's going on?!"

"Back off! Back off now!"

"It must be because we fished too much and angered the River Lord!"

"Huh? You call this 'too much'? It's clearly offering tribute to the river god!"

The three fishermen were terrified. They forgot all about the black box and scrambled backward, staring in horror at the strange sight in the middle of the river.

Immediately afterward, as the three stared wide-eyed, a figure suddenly leaped out from the center of the vortex!

Whoosh—!

It splashed up huge sprays of water, landing like a cannonball in the shallow water near the shore. The three of them were so frightened that they thought it was some kind of ghost or monster. They huddled together in fear, trembling and muttering incantations.

However, the anticipated danger did not occur; instead, a gentle voice reached her ears:

"I was wondering why the box swam away by itself... Where is this place?"

"Ok?"

The three opened their eyes with trepidation, only to find that it was neither a kappa nor a mountain hag.

A young man who looked to be under twenty but had an exceptionally calm demeanor, with short black hair plastered to his forehead and water droplets sliding down his angular face, his handsome features naturally made him likable, and even though he was soaked to the bone, it did not diminish his composed and elegant temperament.

...But for some reason, the three of them instinctively became wary at first glance, easily associating the image with the villains in the movie.

"Who...who are you?"

"You're not a monster, are you?"

The three fishermen, still mouths agape and in a comical backwards position, were completely stunned by this sudden, movie-like scene.

Ye Shou noticed the wariness in their eyes, but he didn't take it to heart: because a "cute and charming villain" with such a bizarre entrance was bound to scare people.

Fortunately, he has enough personal charm to usually dispel the initial impression of him as a "villain" very quickly.

"I just got lost while traveling and only just got back."

Ye Shou bent down to pick up the box, patted off the water droplets, and then took out a badge from his chest that was inlaid with the Aja Red Stone and was shaped similarly to the Ultra Timer. He looked at it deeply for a moment and then put it away.

He glanced at the three men's attire, lost in thought.
