She didn't want to restore her country, but the demons that had occupied her homeland had killed her parents, and she couldn't let go of her hatred until she avenged them!

"This world—"

Kyu-long sighed, but there was nothing he could do.

After all, in that Kingdom of Treasure Elephant, demons are the masters and humans are the slaves. The world is turned upside down and the normal order is disrupted. If an ordinary sorcerer dares to go there, he will also become a slave and be eaten.

As the saying goes: "To catch a thief, first catch the king; to shoot a man, first shoot his horse."

Jiang Liu possessed a righteous spirit and boundless ambition. “Demons are different from humans. Even if they learn from humans to establish capitals and have order, they are not as good as us in cultivating our character. In the end, they still have the heart of beasts in their chests. They are unlikely to achieve the Great Dao. Without any principles, they are just a rabble.”

This is no exaggeration.

The wild monsters in the mountains only learn human manners, but not human benevolence. Even if they organize an army of hundreds of thousands of demons, they would still be less disciplined than human armies.

Therefore—

“It won’t be difficult for my sister-in-law to avenge herself. I’ll go to the city first to investigate and test the monster’s methods. But you all can’t just sit idly by.”

Jiang Liu instructed, "I observe that although the people in these mountains are thin, they are all robust and strong, and they must be full of courage."

We need to gather them and form an army.

At that time.

I've made a bet with that demon king. If I win, the other demons will panic, and you can then take the opportunity to catch up and wipe them out completely.

If it's a wild monster from the mountains, then you might be able to spare its life.

If someone can occupy the capital, seize the throne, and take away the people's land, then they must not be allowed to live and must be completely eliminated to prevent any unforeseen complications.

“I was once a princess of Baoxiang Kingdom. If the people here are truly from Baoxiang Kingdom, they should recognize me.” Although Baihua Ai was a woman, she was strong. So she led Kuilang back to the Boyue Cave and revealed her identity.

Among the common people, many had held positions in the court, whether as civil officials or military generals. Upon recognizing the princess, they were all overjoyed.

Seeing this, Jiang Liu ordered Hu Yuan, Hu Jue, and Lü Zhen to stay where they were and wait. He then leaped westward, covering three hundred li in a short time, and arrived at the territory of Baoxiang Kingdom. Looking down, he saw a thick, malevolent aura—

Clumps of demons and monsters roam, all four gates are filled with elephant spirits. A yellow-toothed ox is the chief steward, a white-faced black pig is the general. Deer and roe deer open the gates to trade, wild boars carry loads to make a living.

In the past, humans were in charge; now, they are slaves to demons.

The river flowed down from the clouds, leaped into a thicket of bushes, and when it emerged again, it had transformed into a demon with an elephant's head, looking as follows:

Phoenix eyes with golden pupils, yellow teeth and thick legs. Long nose with silver hair, resembling a tail from head to toe. Round forehead with furrowed brows, a robust and imposing body. A voice as majestic as the Jade Emperor, a jade face like a bull-headed demon.

Why did you have to become an elephant spirit?

This is because although there are many monsters in this city, they all regard elephants as the most revered.

The appearance that Jiang Liu transformed into was based on the description of the white elephant, one of the three essentials of Lion Camel Ridge in "Journey to the West," who held a long spear that was transformed from the Ruyi Jingu Bang.

As soon as he arrived at the gate, he was stopped by the elephant demon guarding the entrance, who asked, "Brother, where are you from? Where are you going?"

"I come from the east, having heard that the Kingdom of Baoxiang reveres elephant demons, and have come here to serve Your Majesty." Jiang Liu flicked his trunk, revealing six sharp yellow tusks, truly extraordinary.

Only then did the elephant demon notice that Jiang Liu had six tusks. It exclaimed in surprise and hurriedly led the way.

Ee-hee—

They were indeed beasts, ignorant of human relationships and dynastic order. They didn't need to report to anyone; they just needed to say hello. The old elephant guarding the city gate led Jiang Liu to the palace, and they entered the palace smoothly without any obstacles.

The Golden Palace did have the grandeur of a human dynasty, but all the civil and military officials wore animal heads, whether pigs, sheep, cows, or horses, with the majority wearing elephant heads.

And atop those golden steps, a giant about three zhang tall sat on a throne cast entirely of gold. He was:

With a blue face and fangs, and sallow hair, he had a square forehead, prominent eyebrows, and wide, glaring eyes. He wore a white robe and an elephant belt. His voice was soft like a graceful beauty, and his body was as strong as that of Fudo Myoo (the Immovable King).

It's more accurate to call it a giant heavenly general than a six-tusked white elephant.

After the Journey to the West ended, the white elephant of Lion Camel Ridge practiced with Samantabhadra for a period of time, and then obtained a human body. He went to the Heavenly Court to take up a post as a giant spirit god.

What happened to the original Giant Spirit God?

Because Jiang Liu's Monkey King rebelled against Heaven for the first time and defeated the Giant Spirit God, Li Tianwang directly killed him. Nezha... this Nezha from the prehistoric world did not plead for him.

In "Journey to the West," once the Heavenly Court bestows a divine position, that position will not be given to anyone else. For example, Sun Wukong's titles of "Keeper of the Heavenly Horses" and "Great Sage Equal to Heaven" were not removed by the Heavenly Court even after he rebelled against the Heavenly Palace and was suppressed under the Five Elements Mountain by Buddha.

The Great Sage Equaling Heaven needs no introduction; countless celestial beings on the journey to the West addressed him as the Great Sage.

The title of Bi Ma Wen (弼马温) was not removed from Sun Wukong's persona.

evidence?

The original text, in Chapter Fourteen, "The Mind Monkey Returns to Righteousness, the Six Thieves Vanish Without a Trace," records:

This is because the monkey was originally the Keeper of the Heavenly Horses, responsible for raising and tending the dragon horses. He had certain rules and regulations, which is why ordinary horses were afraid of him.

It is evident that the divine position of Bi Ma Wen (弼马温) still resides in Sun Wukong.

What solution?

This is because Sun Wukong represents the Monkey King's mind, and the mind can be large or small:

From the lowest to the highest rank of Bi Ma Wen (弼马温), one can cultivate one's mind and will, circling the heavens and earth, and through self-cultivation, attain true enlightenment.

The highest level is the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, whose heart is equal to the heavens, who grants immortality to all beings, and who saves all sentient beings; only then can one attain enlightenment.

In Journey to the West, the Jade Emperor, in comparison to the cultivation of the human body, refers to the brain as the primordial spirit. His golden words, once bestowed, cannot be changed.

Therefore, once you embark on the path of spiritual practice, you must not give up halfway.

Just like the restless monkey in the mind, no matter how much it misbehaves, you can't really kill it, otherwise—

How can a person live without a heart?

But in this primordial world, the divine positions in the Heavenly Court, the Buddhist positions on Mount Ling, and the official positions in mortal dynasties and modern society are not fundamentally different. They are not obtained through cultivation, but are merely means to win people's hearts after the order is established.

If you can do it, do it; if you can't, get out.

This is the truth about the divine and Buddhist positions in the primordial world.

"Your Majesty, this is your brother, who, like you, has six tusks. He is a different species and has come to seek refuge." The elephant demon who led Jiang Liu here bowed to the blue-faced, fanged giant.

Chapter 1441 Morale Deteriorates, Making It Difficult to Meet the Enemy

"He really is my brother!"

The new ruler of Baoxiang Kingdom had a delicate voice, like that of a eunuch. His golden eyes sized up his clansman, who was only a third of his height. He nodded secretly, descended the golden steps, and, without any imperial manners, displayed the loyalty of a mountain stronghold. He laughed loudly, looked down at Jiang Liu, and said, "I thought I was the only one left in the Six-Tusked White Elephant clan. I never thought I would still have a brother like you!"

What an incredible coincidence!

Would you be willing to acknowledge me as your elder brother?

"Brother!"

Jiang Liu's gaze was intense. He put down the spear in his hand, his knees buckled, and he knelt down completely, as if afraid that the six-tusked white elephant would refuse.

Bai Xiang was taken aback for a moment before quickly helping Jiang Liu up, saying, "We're brothers, why be like this? From now on, just treat this place as your own home, and you won't have to worry about food and clothing anymore."

In my Kingdom of Treasure Elephant, the elephant is revered. Other demon races must bow three inches before it, and we have a large number of human servants at our beck and call.

Boundless joy!

"You'll need to eat more in the future so you can grow as strong as me! Even before I attained this human form, I was still two zhang tall; you're only one zhang, you're a bit short."

"I beg my elder brother to do me justice!"

Jiang Liu, with his long nose snotting, wiped it on the white elephant's clothes and cried.

The white elephant didn't mind. Back when it hadn't attained human form and its parents were still alive, it relied on its trunk to eat. What ordinary people found disgusting—snot—symbolized respect among elephant spirits.

For a member of the same clan to act this way must mean he's hit it off with his elder brother at first sight, but—

"Have you been bullied outside? Tell your brother, and I will definitely avenge you!" Bai Xiang's shrill voice became much louder at this moment.

“Brother, you don’t know, I was born in White Tiger Ridge, where my family of three lived happily. Who knew that a man of destiny would come and try to become human instead of a demon? He said I ate people and took lives, so he beat me with sticks and broke my spine. My sister was the first to suffer, her chest was shattered by a single blow; then my mother was beaten until she cried at the funeral hall; and finally, my father was beaten with a third blow, and he cried bitterly at the funeral hall without any mercy.”

Jiang Liu altered the story of Zhu Bajie's three battles with the Corpse Demon, telling it while crying, which saddened all those in the hall and brought tears to their eyes.

"The chosen one?"

White Elephant frowned and cursed, "That monkey doesn't know what's good for him. He should go find his ancestor's innate talent instead of going to your White Tiger Ridge."

Although this white elephant became a giant spirit god, it seems that the rules in heaven were too many, and it couldn't stand them, so it descended to the mortal realm on its own and occupied the Treasure Elephant Kingdom as emperor. However, it doesn't care about outside affairs, and even when I used my great supernatural power of "Heaven and Earth Manifestation" a few days ago, it didn't pay any attention.

At this thought, Jiang Liu continued to weep, "Brother, you don't know, I've also encountered a few 'Chosen Ones' from Flower Fruit Mountain. They weren't very skilled, and I shot them all through the heart with a single spear, then put them on the fire for a barbecue, so I could have a delicious meal with my family..."

But that chosen one was different. He had extraordinary abilities, could grow to be ten thousand feet tall, leveled White Tiger Ridge, and even pried Longevity Mountain in two!

He also hated evil and spared no demon that ate people without cause.

It is said that he was not looking for a spiritual root, but rather wanted to retrace the Journey to the West, to subdue demons and monsters. Countless monsters died at his hands along the way.

My poor family!

In an instant.

The civil and military officials inside the hall were all in a panic.

Although he hadn't cultivated for many years, he knew the importance of things and said to the white elephant, "Your Majesty, what... what should we do?"

White Elephant remained calm and composed, assuming that the brother from White Tiger Ridge was ignorant. He said leisurely, "Don't worry, no matter how powerful that chosen one is, before he finds his root, he's just a somewhat troublesome monkey."

“Brother, that monkey is not only troublesome, but also strong and resourceful. If you are careless, you may suffer a loss.”

Jiang Liu exaggeratedly said, "I fled all the way here and arrived at this place before him. I guess he was following closely behind me... Before he wiped out my White Tiger Ridge, he transformed into a ten-thousand-foot-tall Dharma image and used the Longevity Mountain to sharpen his stick."

He's probably sharpening his clubs in a mountain ravine a hundred miles outside of Baoxiang now, hoping to wipe out this 'Zootopia' someday.

As soon as he finished speaking, Jiang Liu had a thought. He circulated his Qi and created an avatar a hundred miles away from Baoxiang Kingdom. He used the divine power of "Law of Heaven and Earth" to transform it into a hundred-zhang-sized avatar. Holding a Ruyi Jingu Bang (a magical staff), he crossed a mountain ditch, scooped up a handful of stream water and sprinkled it on the staff, and began to grind it.

Just as the white elephant was pondering the meaning of the phrase "Zootopia," an old, yellow-tusked elephant rushed into the hall, behaving wildly and as if he were a monster in the mountains. He shouted, "Your Majesty, disaster has struck! A hundred miles outside the city, there is a giant ape wielding a club as thick as a pillar on the summit of Mount Kunlun. It is grinding something in a ravine there, making a deafening noise."

Startled, Bai Xiang hurriedly led all the civil and military officials to the top of the city gate to look. Sure enough, they saw a giant ape, hundreds of feet tall, crouching on the mountain, holding a stick in both hands and rubbing it.

As if sensing something, the giant ape turned its head to look at Baoxiang Kingdom. Its golden eyes were bright, and the corners of its mouth turned up, revealing a fang, like the sharp edge of Mount Hua.

With just one glance, the demons on the city wall were terrified, dropping their weapons, falling to the ground, and howling incessantly.

"What a huge monkey!"

"How can we possibly defeat such a massive creature?"

"Let alone hitting, just sweeping that stick around creates a gust of wind that sweeps us away like autumn leaves, lifting us into the sky!"

"This is still good; at least we're at least intact corpses. If we had been hit directly by that big club, we would have been reduced to dust in an instant!"
