The brothers who returned in that cycle of reincarnation once again took charge of things for him, and their murderous intent was even stronger than before, as if they intended to fight their way to the Western Paradise...

Perhaps, the Buddha was right...

Having broken free from some of his obsessions, the Bull Demon King broke free from his inner demons, his eyes becoming clear as mirrors. He no longer fought against the thing in his belly, but instead refined it into himself, completely unifying it and never separating it again!

Seeing this, the "Chosen One" sneered and was about to strike with his staff when he was stopped by another staff, who said, "If you make a move, you are not doing this for Sun Wukong."

"Ok?"

He was startled and looked at the newcomer, who was also a monkey. The newcomer sneered, "Having reincarnated, you have lost your spiritual stone monkey body and gained a mortal body. How can you be my enemy?"

"Try it and you'll see!"

Jiang Liu smiled faintly, using the Ruyi in his hand to block the divine weapon held by Liu Er, shattering the clouds and seas of the nine heavens and breaking through the vast sky.

Another good killing spree!

But we see:

Two sticks, two monkeys, this battle is no small feat. Both must secure their lives, each displaying their martial arts to establish their renown. Mind and spirit unite to achieve perfect enlightenment, the five aggregates forging true spirituality. For supernatural powers are ever-changing, neither true nor false, both are in perfect balance.

One is a primordial energy, the other a long-cultivated spirit. This is the Ruyi Jingu Bang (Golden Cudgel), that is the Suiyi Tiegan (Iron Staff). Their blocking and parrying are evenly matched, their support and resistance are without victory or defeat. They fought outside the cave, and now they are locked in combat in mid-air.

When the two were fighting fiercely, they soared through the nine heavens to the Heavenly Court, killing countless heavenly soldiers and generals, frightening the Jade Emperor so much that he lay under the table, and scaring the Queen Mother into falling into the Jade Pool; they entered Mount Ling and killed countless Arhats and Bodhisattvas, broke two of the Buddha's arms, and shattered one of Dipankara's relics.

This is precisely:

Cultivating immortality or Buddhism requires cultivating the mind; a clear mind and tranquil spirit naturally lead to a stable body. If one calculates and seeks merit, even dual cultivation of Taoism and Buddhism will not bring peace.

The five aggregates, though not empty, give rise to the six ears; the universe is in turmoil because of the two minds. If one wishes to cultivate true tranquility, one must gather the primordial spirit back to the single mind.

Jiang Liu fought the Six-Eared Macaque for three hundred rounds, during which countless gods and bodhisattvas entered the cycle of reincarnation, rendering the merits of those recently recruited by the Heavenly Court and Mount Ling futile.

This was also Jiang Liu's deliberate act.

He had already said that the true test would be seen on the journey to the West, but the Heavenly Court and Mount Ling did not listen and secretly carried out such things. So he should not blame him for taking the opportunity to teach them to return to the West overnight!

after all--

With the Underworld already under the control of the Earth Goddess Houtu, it won't be easy for the Heavenly Court and Mount Ling to replenish their ranks with "lower-level cannon fodder" in a short period of time.

Although immortals and Buddhas possess supernatural powers and magic, and are revered for their strength, if they do everything themselves, what will become of their dignity?

As for why they didn't just wipe them all out...

Then how is he any different from the immortals and Buddhas of Heaven and Mount Ling?

That's how you should be a person.

We must be reasonable.

This also allowed him to "reasonably" reduce the number of grassroots personnel in Heaven and Mount Ling at the level of cultivation.

After all, spiritual practice is about cultivating one's character. If one doesn't cultivate one's character and instead engages in conspiracies and scheming, one will ultimately suffer the consequences.

As the saying goes, if good and evil go unpunished, then Heaven and Earth must be biased.

now.

He is the chosen one, sent to dispel the selfishness in the hearts of immortals and Buddhas, and to teach them only cultivation. Otherwise, the aftershocks of his great stick could kill them!

The Six-Eared Macaque, however, did not have such thoughts, but he also had no affection for immortals and Buddhas, and was happy to cooperate with Jiang Liu to turn the world upside down.

"You are not him!"

However, he also noticed that Jiang Liu was different from Sun Wukong.

"You should know who I am."

Jiang Liu swung his Ruyi Cudgel, and the golden hoop transformed into a nine-toothed rake, hooking the cudgel in the opponent's hand. With a gentle flick, he took it into his own hand, merging it with the Ruyi Cudgel into one.

Seeing this, the Six-Eared Macaque was terrified. Recognizing the protagonist before him, he was filled with horror and dared not linger in the fight. He leaped onto his somersault cloud, covering 108,000 li in a single somersault, flipping as fast as a wheel, leaping an unknown distance. Just as he turned around, he saw Jiang Liu raising his hand—

No matter how she tries to escape, she remains within his grasp.

This is because the Six Ears is also the Mind Monkey. The Mind Monkey is within the Zhou Tian (a concept in Chinese mythology), so how can it escape the master's grasp?

"Enough! Enough! I'd rather return to oneness!"

Seeing that he couldn't escape, the Six-Eared Macaque was paralyzed with fear. He could only willingly merge himself with the river, and a trace of his unruly spirit returned to his heart, to be controlled by the Monkey King. They became one again, no longer separated.

And the bet between Maitreya and Yuan Shoucheng—

There is no winner or loser.

It was only because Jiang Liu did not kill the Six-Eared Macaque, but instead merged the two minds into one.

Let's leave that aside for now.

Meanwhile, inside the Flaming Mountain...

The Bull Demon King, without distinguishing between good and bad, thoroughly refined that weapon, integrating it into every inch of his body and mind, transforming it into a human form.

He wore a polished silver-black iron helmet, a suit of brocade and gold armor, pink-soled suede boots with rolled-up toes, and a three-strand lion-mane belt with interlocking silk around his waist. His eyes were as clear as mirrors, his eyebrows as red as rainbows, his mouth as big as a blood basin, and his teeth as sharp as copper plates.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, he pulled out a thick iron rod and viciously struck the river that was falling from the sky, cursing, "You filthy monkey! Give me back my child's life!"

Chapter 1510 The Ingenious Mind Monkey Leads the White Ox

Faced with the Bull Demon King's iron cudgel, Jiang Liu used his own cudgel to deflect it, knocking the Bull Demon King away.

Pigsy, holding a rake, shouted at him, "Old Ox! What's wrong with you? Didn't you see there were two chosen ones just now? That one was a fake!"

But the Bull Demon King roared in anger, having completely refined his inherent abilities, he had lost his composure—

His life was already filled with worries. He had once rebelled against Heaven with the Monkey King, but upon witnessing his brother's defeat, and thinking of his wife at home, he became cowardly and abandoned the Monkey King. Filled with guilt, he didn't visit her for five hundred years…

Upon returning to Mount Cuiyun, Princess Rakshasa gave birth to a son, Red Boy, who was not her biological child. Heartbroken but unable to bear the thought of leaving him, she separated from him and married Princess Jade Face…

When they encountered the monkey again, seeking a master and enlightenment, he killed his concubine, all just to appease the heavenly beings and get them spared...

Now, the reborn "chosen one" has also gone "mad," killing Red Boy...

All of this caused him emotional turmoil, which was exactly what he needed to do to "be himself worried" and he wanted to completely wipe out the monkeys in front of him!

"Good day, Old Niu!"

Jiang Liu remained unmoved by this, and said leisurely, "The Bull King is originally a transformation of the Mind Monkey, and this time it is a perfect opportunity to converge the source!"

"I can't say," Jiang Liu said, raising his baton in response!

What a great fight!

All I saw was—

The Ruyi Jingu Bang (magic staff), a single breath that blends with the iron rod, unites body and mind into one.

This one said, "It's all your fault, you monkey, for harming my child!"

The one said, "I have the power to bring the dead back to life, so don't be angry!"

This one then said, "How dare you deceive me out of my ignorance? I will not be a puppet like that!"

As the saying goes: "The wondrous method is naturally formed with profound secrets; let go of attachments and embrace sincerity!"

One sought to quell the blood feud of the monkeys, the other could save your son from the heart-wrenching ox. The Ox King, bewitched and lost his former affections, found peace in the clear river. The staff rose like a dragon, the cudgel met the fleeing gods and demons. At first, they fought before the mountain, then rode together on auspicious clouds. In mid-air, they displayed their supernatural powers, their wondrous skills gleaming in five-colored light. The two cudgels resounded through the heavens, neither gaining nor losing, their strengths locked in a fierce struggle.

The two fought for over a hundred rounds, with neither gaining the upper hand.

“Father, stop! It wasn’t Brother Yuanjue who killed my brother! It was another monkey!” Pingping shouted from the foot of the mountain.

This fierce battle restored some of his sanity, but when he was refining his body before, he was in pain all over and had not seen the two monkeys fighting, so he refused to believe it.

He assumed that the monkey in front of him, now wearing a different smiling face, had deceived his daughter, and became even more furious. He abandoned his iron rod, used his seventy-two transformations to become a yellow eagle, and went to peck at Jiang Liu's head.

Jiang Liu put the golden cudgel into his ear, making it one with him, and said with a smile, "Since you want to compete in the art of transformation, then so be it."

Having said that, he somersaulted backward, transforming into a swan. Although not as fierce as the yellow eagle, it was large. As it soared, just as the yellow eagle was about to catch up, it suddenly folded its wings and plummeted downward.

Huang Ying hurriedly gave chase, only to see the swan suddenly spread its wings, turn its body, and strike Huang Ying's back with its wings, sending it flying.

Enraged, Huang Ying stretched out his wings and transformed into a golden-winged roc. With a flap of his wings, he covered thousands of miles to chase away the swan.

Upon seeing this great roc, Jiang Liu chuckled and transformed into a phoenix.

The phoenix is the king of all birds, and it has its own majesty, which can make all birds submit. When the roc saw it, it was terrified and fell to the ground, transforming into a lion.

The phoenix recognized it, landed on the ground, and transformed into a qilin, the king of all beasts.

The lion dared not approach, roared, dispersed its energy and reformed its form, changing its appearance.

Having acquired the body of a troubled being, this Bull Demon King, whose original form was no longer just a hundred feet long, has now acquired the body of the Bull Demon King from "Journey to the West," with a head like a towering mountain, eyes like lightning, two horns like two iron towers, and teeth like sharp blades. From head to tail, it is over a thousand feet long, and from hoof to back, it is eight hundred feet high.

"You unruly monkey! What can you do to me now?"

With a roar, the Bull Demon King unleashed a whirlwind that swept away the clouds, causing the lava in the eight-hundred-mile-long Flaming Mountain to explode, sending flames soaring into the sky and shaking the Three Realms.

"long!"

Jiang Liu uttered a single word, and he grew to a height of ten thousand feet, his head like Mount Tai, his waist like a towering mountain range, and the staff in his hand supporting the thirty-three heavens above and reaching the eighteen levels of hell below.

The Bull Demon King, who was only eight hundred feet tall, was the size of the heart of this ten-thousand-foot-tall Buddha statue. He ran left and right, jumped up and down, and even used his horns to butt the golden cudgel.

This is precisely:

My body is filled with worries and anxieties, but wondrous and miraculous things happen to me. If I wish to find coolness and peace within my body, I must lead the White Ox to its hiding place.

The three vehicles and three rides eventually converge into one; measure yourself by observing your own body with your heart. Forge a great white vehicle, cleanse yourself of demons and impurities, and return it to your heart.

The two of them unleashed their great supernatural powers, fighting each other fiercely. The aftershocks extinguished the flames in the Flaming Mountain, and there was no lava for eight hundred miles.

Moreover, the three realms of the primordial world were buzzing with the sound of their battle, as if the earth, fire, water, and wind were about to be rebuilt.

To ensure the stability of the Three Realms, Jiang Liu no longer clashed with the Bull Demon King by force. Instead, he used a clever force to deflect the Bull Demon King's strength and lead him around. Using his staff as a guide, he started a "bullfight" in the mountains.

Thus, no matter how rampaging the Bull Demon King was, he could not shake the river in the slightest. With his feet firmly planted on the ground, he suppressed the heavens and the earth, and with his hands holding the Ruyi scepter, he danced like a dragon and a snake, gradually exhausting the Bull Demon King's strength.

Because the Bull Demon King devoured the body of the Demon King and refined it into one, he also gained some of the Great Dao of Jiang Liu, but in the end he did not reach the Heavenly Realm and his strength was limited.

And so, they fought for a day and a night. The Bull Demon King, panting heavily, transformed into human form, knelt on the ground, looked up at the towering river, and his eyes regained their clarity.

This monkey...

This person is definitely not the same as the monkey from before!

otherwise!
