The second sister led Pigsy into the house, her eyes showing some disdain.

Bajie was dissatisfied, but since he hadn't seen the purple spider, he didn't want to reveal himself.

"He looks so ugly, not like the romantic and talented men in the books, but as long as Mother likes him, that's fine." The third sister looked at Pigsy with some disdain.

Bajie was speechless at this.

However, having cultivated for so long, he has gradually stopped caring about outward appearances, so he only complains to himself that he has "no vision" before continuing to pretend.

"It is indeed quite ugly."

The fifth sister circled around Pigsy and said with a grin, "Mother's tastes are quite unique."

"Second sister is so selfish. She caught something good but didn't even let the other sisters have a taste."

The fourth sister, dressed in purple and with white makeup, seemed to be at odds with the second sister, her words carrying a hint of sarcasm.

"This is something Mother has her eye on, how can we keep it to ourselves?"

The second sister glanced at the fourth sister and said quietly.

"What good would it do if we got it? We'd still have to stay in these mountains for the rest of our lives."

The fourth sister sneered, raised her sleeve, and a pale yellow spider crawled out. Her tone was enigmatic, "Even you can't stay still..."

"All right."

Just then, the eldest sister interrupted the sisters' conversation, "We haven't even had the wedding ceremony yet, and you're already thinking about making a ruckus in the bridal chamber? That's not proper."

After saying that, she walked up to her second sister, chanted a spell and made a hand gesture, took over the "control" of Pigsy, led him to the front door of the main room, knocked on the door and said: "Mother, the person has been brought."

With a creak, the door slowly opened, and an old woman with hair as white as snow and skin like the bark of a withered pine tree emerged from the dark room.

Pigsy recognized her; she was the purple spider he had let escape years ago.

"Life in heaven is definitely not for humans, but it's good that I can come back."

Purple Spider, dressed in bright red and wearing a purplish-red cloak, looked at Pigsy with a rather complicated expression.

Resentment, helplessness, and anger mingled in his heart, ultimately brewing into a complex joy. He addressed the spider spirits, "Girls! Prepare a feast!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than the embroidery needle between Bajie's eyebrows was forced out. He grabbed it and mocked under Zizhu'er's shocked gaze: "You really are infatuated. You actually waited for me for five hundred years. But I have already solidified my roots and attained enlightenment. How could I not let go of this love and affection?"

"For the sake of our past acquaintance, I, Old Pig, will spare you. Return my eldest brother's belongings, and I'll spare your entire family's lives."

"You idiot!"

The second sister was shocked and furious, unable to believe that the embroidery needle her mother had given her could not control this Pigsy—this was no ordinary magic weapon, but a treasure that the Bodhisattva Pilanpo had extracted from the eye of the Pleiades. It was formed from a ray of the sun's essence and had been nurtured by her mother for over five hundred years, infused with a love poison. Even a great immortal would not be able to completely eradicate it in less than three to five years!

"Little Spider, your methods are nothing compared to Grandpa Pig's."

Bajie had some recollection of the embroidery needle, so he put it away and turned his gaze to the astonished master. He pulled out his rake and questioned, "Give me a straight answer. Do you want to hand over your root? If not, don't blame me for not showing any mercy."

"Stop your arrogance!"

The eldest sister, second sister, third sister, fourth sister, and fifth sister were shocked and angry, and surrounded Pigsy.

But Zi Zhu'er waved her hand, telling the five sisters to disperse, and then looked at Bajie and said, "Yes, it was because you were sentimental that you let me go back then."

But you have no idea how I survived by relying on my sisters' flesh and blood.

"Your senior brother insists on eating Tang Sanzang's flesh! Besides, there are five grains in the world, all of which can fill our stomachs. You yourself want to eat the corpses and flesh of your sisters, yet you blame it on old pig?"

Bajie retorted without hesitation.

Although the immortals, Buddhas, demons and monsters in this world have no understanding of the Great Dao that his senior brother has comprehended, he has a physical elixir in his body that is difficult to connect with the natural world. He needs to constantly plunder the spiritual essence of other living beings in order to maintain his longevity.

But grains also have spiritual essence, so why eat the corpses of sisters?

Furthermore—

“Now that Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva has attained enlightenment, people’s hearts are filled with Avalokiteshvara! How about this, you return my senior brother’s potential, and I will help you enter the path, help you see Avalokiteshvara ahead of time, cultivate Avalokiteshvara, no longer be a demon, and no longer have to eat people, how about it?” Pigsy still thought of the old friendship.

These words, however, drew a hostile look from Zi Zhu'er.

Why did she suffer for five hundred years?

She thought it was just to survive... but the moment she saw Pigsy, she knew she absolutely couldn't bring herself to do it.

She is alive—

It's for him right now!

"Ha! In the end, it was all because of that monkey!"

Purple Spider sneered, "What's the difference between you and me?"

"You're not going to give it to me, are you?"

Bajie narrowed his eyes, put aside the last vestige of hope in his heart, raised his rake, and was determined to completely sever that karmic ties from back then.

When it is interrupted, it will suffer from chaos!

He had given Zi Zhu'er one last chance. If she agreed, he would guarantee her safety and even help her daughters embark on the path of cultivation.

But if this Purple Spider were to utter even half a word of "no"...

Purple Spider was incredibly perceptive; she realized that Pigsy had changed. Compared to the somewhat hesitant Pigsy of the past, he was now more decisive, just like that monkey.

So, she gritted her teeth, raised her finger, and the pale yellow spider that had once crawled on her fourth sister's hand crawled onto her hand.

"Are you going to kill her too?"

With a flick of her wrist, the pale yellow spider leaped from Zi Zhu'er's hand and transformed into a round-faced spider with a topknot.

Looking at the young spider that could transform into human form, Bajie was stunned for a moment. Then he looked at the other five spider demons and realized that this one was Zi Zhu'er's true daughter.

She is also his daughter.

In the past, Pigsy would not have admitted it, not because he was afraid of being discovered by the people of Heaven or Mount Ling—he had already descended to the mortal world to become a demon, what crime was there in having children?

But he was a monk after all, and he still cared about his reputation.

If one continues westward along the river, and the sights and sounds along the way reveal a state of mind that is truly close to that of a "Bodhisattva," how could one dare to do something without daring to take responsibility?

“If she hadn’t done anything wrong, Old Pig wouldn’t have killed innocent people indiscriminately.”

Bajie shifted his gaze from the sixth sister to Zizhu'er, "As for you, I released you back then, thinking you would repent properly, but I didn't expect you to be so shameless, actually using a child as a shield, you really are a monster."

After saying that, Pigsy scolded again: "I'll ask you one last time, bring out my eldest brother's treasure, and I'll teach you to enter the path of Tao, so we can avoid fighting."

Are you truly heartless?

Zi Zhu'er, however, had tears in the corners of her eyes.

"It was just a one-night stand, what's the point of talking about feelings? If I hadn't bumped into you in the sky back then, I would have already won over the Jade Rabbit. How could I have seen her having a secret rendezvous with Zhang Bairen?" Pigsy sneered.

"Ha, that monkey is dead, and you pig have become bolder, daring to call the Jade Emperor by his name." Zi Zhu'er was originally one of the seven celestial maidens, and even after falling to the mortal world, she would not dare to be so bold.

What's wrong with calling him by his real name?

Following the river, he attained the Great Dao and achieved enlightenment. Pigsy became bolder, saying, "Since your name is Zhang Bairen, then you should bear with me!"

How could one be the Jade Emperor if one couldn't bear to do such a thing?

Having said that, Pigsy did not hesitate any longer. He leaped up, and the rake in his hand transformed into a length of tens of feet, smashing down on Purple Spider's head.

Looking at the massive nine-toothed rake that resembled a mountain, Zi Zhu'er was terrified, realizing that Bajie was truly intent on killing her. She hurriedly transformed back into her original form and jumped outside.

"Run away!"

Bajie chanted a spell, transforming into a hundred-zhang tall figure with a blue face, fangs, and crimson hair. He used the supernatural power of "Heaven and Earth Transformation," and the rake in his hand was also affected by this power, transforming into a hundred-zhang long figure, like a pillar supporting the sky. He showed no mercy and swung it in the direction where the purple spider's original form had fled.

boom!

The Purple Spider had indeed acquired the essence of the Flowing Heart Monkey, narrowly dodging the attack, but Pansiling suffered the consequences.

When Pigsy's rake strikes, the earth trembles; when it hooks, mountains and rivers turn upside down; when it strikes, a vast plain is revealed.

The real one is:

Wood born in the year of Hai (亥) corresponds to the Pig, naturally becoming the Cowherd planting money. The Weaver Girl descends to earth as a spider, weaving silk through the interaction of water and fire. A spark of divine light illuminates the world, carving mountains and rivers within a half-liter jar.

Pigsy raises his rake to begin tilling the land, establishing the Yin and Yang in the central palace. The purple spider spins its thread, attempting to lift the heavens, clinging to its obsession with achieving enlightenment. Fortunately, it has grasped this profound mystery, and will surely teach the Weaver Girl its wondrous secrets.

With a single swipe of his rake, Pigsy traversed the entire Spider Ridge, annihilating countless mountain spirits and monsters. So frightened was Purple Spider that she dared not slacken in the slightest and could only flee westward at top speed.

The other spider demons were also shocked and terrified, and they all fled out of the mountain.

"Is that my father?"

Only the sixth sister, who was being dragged along by her fourth sister, looked at the tall figure and murmured, "So powerful!"

"Go quickly, don't say anything more!"

Although Fourth Sister was also frightened by Pigsy's power, she was secretly delighted, because the commotion was so great that the four talismans must have been destroyed as well, and she was able to escape from the mountains and see the outside world!

Before Fourth Sister could even get excited, a monkey appeared on the road ahead. With a swift movement, it grabbed six spider demons, including Fourth Sister and Sixth Sister, and put them into a grass cage, handing it to the female bodhisattva beside it.

This Bodhisattva—

Wearing a five-colored brocade hat, and a gold-embroidered robe, with phoenix-head shoes and a double-tasseled sash, she has an autumnal face, her voice as sweet as a swallow in spring. She has long understood the Three Vehicles of Buddhism, and constantly cultivated the Four Noble Truths in her heart. She has realized the true fruit of emptiness and attained true freedom.

If you ask her name, she is none other than the true living Buddha of Ziyun Mountain, the Pilanpo of Qianhua Cave.

Chapter 1544 Eliminating Troubles and Achieving Purity

"Here you go, Bodhisattva. These ignorant youths are now entrusted to your instruction."

Jiang Liu handed the grass basket to the Bodhisattva Pilanpo, whom he had resurrected.

After parting ways with Bajie, Jiang Liu directly found another Buddha's Hand Insect hidden in this mountain, killed it, obtained the right hand of the Bodhisattva Pilanpo, combined it with the left hand, discovered the root cause, recited a mantra for resurrection, and then taught her to return.

It is also because Bodhisattva Pilanpo is different from other immortals and Buddhas that he has already comprehended the Zen principle of form and emptiness. Otherwise, even if Jiang Liu had great supernatural powers, he could only create a similar flower.

Pilanpo took the cage that Jiang Liu had casually woven from straw and laughed, "The Great Sage is indeed extraordinary. After one reincarnation, he has been able to comprehend such a great Dao. Ordinary straw, woven by your hands, is comparable to a treasure, capable of containing the universe and holding all things."

"What Great Sage? Bodhisattva has mistaken me for someone else. My name is Gu Yue Yuan Jue, not Sun Wukong."

Jiang Liu corrected him, then smiled and said to the Pleiades Star Lord standing on the other side, "Brother, after this ordeal, do you still want to go to heaven to become an official?"

"No."

Pleiades Star Lord shook his head.

The heavenly realm is boundless, but its rules are strict. Back then, I was only invited by the Great Sage to descend to the mortal world to subdue demons on my own, and I suffered such hardships.
