It was essentially like giving them a "cesarean section".

This golden gong was one of the treasures transformed from the Nine-Eyed Dzi Bead, containing nearly endless runes and totems, making it difficult for Jiang Liu to see through it and find a way to use it.

"who?"

At this moment, Dao Long walked out from the back hall and was stunned to see Chen Long and the others freed.

Taking advantage of his momentary daze, Jiang Liu waved his hand and put the golden bell into his storage ring.

"Give me back the golden cymbal!"

Coming to his senses, Dao Long was shocked and furious. He had intended to use his father and Chen Long's lives to coerce the "goddess" of the sacred lake to come out so that he could absorb her. Unexpectedly, another unknown guy jumped out, not only rescuing his mortal enemy but also taking away his golden cymbal.

Terrible!

In a short time.

Dao Long's anger rose from the bottom of his heart, and evil thoughts arose from his mind. He pulled out his spiked club from behind and swung it at Jiang Liu.

Snapped!

Jiang Liu reached out and grabbed Daolong's body, throwing him out of the temple. He then took a step and chased after him, stepping in the air. Holding a staff in one hand, he waved to Daolong, who was suspended in mid-air.

Damn it!

Daolong roared, wielding his spiked club against the Divine Iron, fiercely intent on tearing Jiang Liu to pieces.

Jiang Liu smiled faintly, holding the Divine Iron, and knocked away the spiked club. He laughed heartily, eager to see what Dao Long was capable of.

In an instant, the two were locked in combat.

The dragon's heterochromatic eyes blazed with fire, the river's wise gaze blossomed like a lotus. One was shrouded in black mist, the other's heart glowed with colorful clouds. Black mist spewed from their mouths, darkening the sky; colorful clouds shone brightly in the night.

Divine treasures and Buddhist weapons are both offered to one's mind and body. One is a disciple who has cultivated through countless eons to attain enlightenment, while the other is a freak who has committed evil deeds in one lifetime.

That one, seeking power, abandoned all humanity; this one, enlightened and realizing his true nature, entered the Confucian path. The beating with the stick is like a dragon reaching out its claws; the cudgel's response is like a phoenix roaring.

The other one said, "You stole my golden gong, you should return it!"

This person said, "You deserve to die for eating others!"

Idle talk, chaotic noise, sticks clashing and sparks flying.

In this fight, Jiang Liu used only one hand to test Dao Long's skills. He found that this guy had brute strength but didn't know any martial arts at all. He didn't even know the most basic principle of using someone else's strength against them. So he gave up the idea of testing him further. With a little effort, he knocked the spiked club away, and with a wave of his hand, he put it into his storage ring and kept it for himself.

"you!"

Dao Long was no match for Jiang Liu's strength. His eyes widened in anger, and he hurriedly pulled out his pouch from behind his waist, but Jiang Liu swung it away with a stick, breaking his wrist and causing the pouch to slip from his hand.

Jiang Liu made another move, and the man in the bag followed in the footsteps of the Golden Bell and the Wolf Fang Mace, changing his surname to "Jiang".

Then look at Daolong, who picked up his magic wand and unleashed a blue-black energy, but Jiang Liu raised his hand to neutralize it, dissipating it into the most basic Qi and dissipating into the air.

"This technique! Are you an immortal god!?"

Dao Long was shocked and incredulous, unable to believe that immortal gods actually existed in the world!

Shouldn't there only be one Santa Claus who is almost an immortal god left?

Ignoring the other's shock, Jiang Liu simply asked, "What did you do all this for? Wealth? Beauty? Power? Or strength?"

"Nature is power!"

Knowing he was no match, Daolong gave up resisting and sneered, "Why is it that only demons and immortal gods can use magic without chanting incantations or hand seals?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Liu took out the three-piece set of human seed bag, spiked club, and golden cymbal, examined them closely, and understood the method of forward and reverse through their interconnections. However, he sighed and said, "The Nine-Eyed Heavenly Bead was born because of the Buddha's enlightenment. It was originally a unified whole, and it was true to all things."

Now, thanks to you, these three things have evolved into something that can never return to its true nature without undergoing nirvana!

Alas! Alas! Alas!

Having said that, ignoring Dao Long's bewildered expression, Jiang Liu transformed into a Kunpeng, resonating with the surrounding energy. He soared through the air, and with a flap of his wings, he stirred up a whirlwind. The invisible force originating from nature enveloped Dao Long, lifting him thousands of feet high, making it difficult for him to cast spells.

It is:

The Kunpeng soars ninety thousand miles, shattering the desolate blue sky. Looking down from above, all that can be seen are temples and pagodas. The towering temples and tranquil pagodas create Shangri-La.

It's pitiful that such a beautiful place is being bullied. Jiang Liu questioned Dao Long, and the wizard replied: "To become the ninth demon. Where are the eight ancient demons, who occupied this blessed land and took form? Heaven created their bodies, earth provided their souls, and they can even enforce the laws."

Don't deceive yourself!

Let's observe the cycle of reincarnation and nirvana—

This poem is called Nian Nu Jiao: Questions and Answers about Nirvana.

Jiang Liu transformed into a Kunpeng and fanned away the sword dragon, intending to teach it to experience the power of nature and see if it could understand anything. Seeing that it was still stubborn, he returned to his original form, became a human, took out a golden cymbal, and threw it upwards. With a "clang," the sword dragon was trapped inside.

This treasure is peculiar; even if those trapped know how to use it, they have no way to escape unless they truly break free from the cycle of reincarnation.

Without the Blade Dragon, the dark elves all turned into water and earth, returning to the land and lakes.

We won!

"We defeated the Blade Dragon!"

The Christmas elves cheered with joy.

Then, the river flowed, carrying the golden cymbal, and slowly descended. Surrounded by clouds and mist, the aura gathered above the lake to form a phantom figure about six zhang tall. Though hazy, it was graceful and indeed a "goddess".

With a flick of his sleeve, he created a cloud of light that made everyone feel refreshed and their energy and vitality instantly restored.

"This is the goddess of Shangri-La! Padmasambhava!"

Feng shui monks and eighteen martial monks prostrated themselves in devout worship...

# Chapter 921 How Easy is Reincarnation and Nirvana? (Part 6) Padmasambhava

Jiang Liu had some knowledge of Padmasambhava, who was said to have been transformed from the Buddha's heart and possessed the greatest compassion. Upon his birth, he wished to save all sentient beings.

But if such a person truly exists, he is certainly not a manifestation of the Buddha's mind, but a virtuous and genuine practitioner.

Furthermore, perhaps due to differences in time and space, in the main world of Jiangliu, Guru Padmasambhava and Songzanlin Monastery have no direct connection...

"Padmasambhava? Isn't that a man?"

Lu Jin followed Jiang Liu in his spiritual practice and learned about some Buddhist figures. He knew that Padmasambhava was a great master in Tibet who propagated the Dharma there... But why does he appear to be a woman?

Is Padmasambhava in the timeline of "Little Jade's Adventures" a woman?

Or is it that, like Guanyin Bodhisattva, she took on a female form, was worshipped by the world, and influenced by faith, thus presenting herself as a female Bodhisattva?

“It is a man, but it is not Padmasambhava himself. He either returned to the world or transcended the shackles of the mortal realm. The woman in front of us is his ‘consort’.”

With his keen eye, Jiang Liu gleaned some information, landed on the ground, put down the golden cymbal, and spoke leisurely.

Tibetan Buddhism has the concept of "consort," which is similar in meaning to Buddha Mother and Dakini, all referring to the consort of the Buddha or Yidam.

However, the name Mingfei also has another meaning, which is the mantra Dharani. "Ming" symbolizes the wisdom of Prajna that dispels ignorance, while "fei" refers to the fundamental power that nurtures all merits.

The female bodhisattva form that appears before us, manifested by the aura of Shangri-La, is Padmasambhava, yet not Padmasambhava. Rather, it is the wisdom and true nature of Prajna attained through his practice that merges with the aura of this place, thus giving birth to this blessed land where spring reigns all year round and birds sing and flowers bloom.

Merit is not actually a kind of energy, but refers to the benefits that come from doing good deeds. These benefits benefit both others and oneself, which is in line with the attribute of immortals and Buddhas of "saving oneself and others".

Just like Shangri-La, which was found and transformed by Guru Padmasambhava, and judging from the scale of its ancient city, it is probably just like the legend, a place where people can find no war or suffering.

But unfortunately—

Where in the world is there no conflict?

Retreating from the world may bring temporary peace and prosperity, but it cannot ensure a lifetime of tranquility.

Without him.

Padmasambhava was a practitioner, so his mind was naturally peaceful and serene. However, the others who came to this blessed land with him were all unenlightened non-practitioners who were only trying to escape suffering and war.

Just like the stone monkey in "Journey to the West" who found the Water Curtain Cave for the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain, it was because he was the first to overcome the fear brought by the waterfall, and the courage arose in his heart. Only then did he close his eyes and leap to the cave. The other monkeys were only able to live in the Water Curtain Cave and not be affected by the wrath of heaven because of him.

Can the feeling of being led into a blessed land by someone be the same as finding a blessed land on one's own?

Therefore, the stone monkey could become the Monkey King, the Monkey King could become the Great Sage Equal to Heaven and the Victorious Fighting Buddha, while none of the other monkeys dared to go out to sea with the Monkey King to seek immortality and the Tao. It was because Erlang set fire to Flower Fruit Mountain, causing the life to be cut off and flowers and fruits to be scarce. Forced by the environment, half of the monkeys had to go out to sea to find a way to survive.

The same goes for Shangri-La.

Only Padmasambhava was able to become a Bodhisattva and attain Buddhahood. This was not because he was transformed by the Buddha's compassion, but because the others were all brought into this blessed land by him and did not truly develop the intention to cultivate. How could they then achieve enlightenment?

Today, this ancient city is deserted and empty. It probably did not "ascend to heaven" with Guru Padmasambhava, but rather disappeared with the passage of time.

This "Bright Consort" form, which is a manifestation of wisdom and the local energy, can only maintain the beauty of the mountains and rivers and serve as a place for the merits of all living beings, but can no longer personally preach the Dharma to people.

"Consort Ming?"

Upon hearing about Consort Ming, Lu Jin recalled his sixteen-foot golden body. He first cultivated the Sumeru method, focusing on the spine and establishing the foundation of Sumeru. Then, he cultivated the Heart Sutra, emphasizing the mental landscape talisman, and established a twenty-four-story pagoda of heavens. After that, he cultivated the contemplation method, observing the inner peace and becoming thirty-three incarnations. Twenty-four of these incarnations suppressed the spine and manifested in the heavens, seeking to observe the inner peace at all times. The remaining nine incarnations were merged into one, so that he could observe Guanyin at all times. Finally, he enlightened his own thoughts, worshipped himself, solidified his faith, gathered his spirit, and became a sixteen-foot golden body.

Among them, the appearance of Guanyin is described as follows: if a man practices this method, he will become a female Guanyin; if a woman practices it, she should establish a male Guanyin in her mind.

Could this "Guanyin" be the very embodiment of Prajna wisdom?

At that moment, the consort nodded slightly to Jiang Liu, her eyes blooming like lotus flowers, and she connected with Jiang Liu's mind, entering his heart and manifesting a scripture, and also depicting an eight-part image, namely: Ocean-born Vajra, Wrathful Vajra, Shakyamuni Lion, Love-Wisdom Guru Rinpoche, Padma Thothonja, Lotus King, Sunlight Guru Rinpoche, and Lion-Roar Guru Rinpoche.

Eight phases.

This concept is not unique to Padmasambhava; the Tathagata also has eight aspects: descending to Tushita Heaven, being born, being born, renouncing worldly life, subduing Mara, attaining enlightenment, preaching the Dharma, and entering Nirvana.

In short, these eight phases represent the states of a practitioner on a timeline from birth to the attainment of Nirvana.

This method of eight aspects is one of the manifestations of Buddhist Prajna wisdom. It takes the eight most representative stages in a practitioner's life as anchor points to define the past, present, and future, and thus forges the eight major aspects of Dharma, in order to seek one realization and eternal realization.

The concept of "one proof for all" originated from the Huayan School of Buddhism, specifically from the "Commentary on the Avatamsaka Sutra": "One understanding leads to all understanding, one enlightenment leads to all enlightenment, one practice leads to all practice, one proof leads to all proof."

In short, once one cultivates prajna wisdom, one's state of mind becomes eternal and will never regress or decay with the passage of time.

but!

There is a gap between theory and reality!

In this world of "Jade's Adventures," because the timeline is interconnected, changing the past can truly change the present and the future.

If the past changes, causing changes in the experiences and memories of practitioners who have attained the state of Buddhahood, can they still attain the state of Buddhahood?

Therefore, Padmasambhava of this time and space created the Eight Aspects of Dharma, taking them from the eight stages of his life's practice, thus forging the eight major Dharma aspects, and connecting them to himself in the rest of his life, so that no matter how others change the past, they can never affect his future enlightenment.

but.

Because the Zhou weather pattern has been altered by the river flow, the conflict between the black qi and the righteous qi is gradually moving towards coordination, causing the independent [time] to gradually merge with [space] once again, and causing the timeline that was once connected to the beginning to gradually break apart.
