He intends to first completely refine the souls of these two boys, and then, after the matter has passed, go to other nearby villages and towns to search for other suitable boys, torture and kill them, extract their souls, and refine them, so as to create the Seven Fiends Souls—whose future will surely be incredibly bright!

He had just finished refining the souls of the two boys when the sunlight streaming into the cave was blocked by the dark shadows, plunging the cave into a dim light.

Open your eyes.

look up.

When Shi Shaojian saw the Confucian Society members and the Zhengyi people, a dark mass, including even his father, his heart skipped a beat—his father had sold him out.

"Shaojian! How could you do such a thing? I am truly disappointed!" Before the Maoshan Sect Leader could speak, Shi Jian was already furious. He leaped in front of Shi Shaojian, reached out and grabbed his neck, his five fingers tightly gripping his throat, exerting force continuously, his eyes filled with pity.

But for his future, for his own life, and to prevent himself from passing on the unorthodox Maoshan cultivation method of refining the soul with corpse demons and gathering the seven evil spirits to his son—

Shi Shaojian must die!

Indeed.

He already knew that Jiang Liu had the insight to see the whole story and must know this fact. But knowing is one thing, as long as he did not admit it or know it, let alone Jiang Liu, even if the Buddha himself were to descend to earth, he could not judge good and evil with a single word, and evidence was required.

Shi Shaojian was caught red-handed with the stolen goods.

But Shi Jian is still "innocent"!

Swish!

As Shi Jian tightened his grip, Shi Shaojian's face turned red. The two boy souls he had refined, protecting their master, unleashed several streaks of black malevolent energy, striking Shi Jian squarely in the chest. The shock caused his internal organs to tremble, and he involuntarily loosened his grip, staggering back several steps and coughing up a mouthful of blood. As a result, Shi Shaojian looked at him with disbelief.

Firstly, he didn't expect that his son could refine the souls of those two children in such a short time... Could it be because of the Corpse Fiend Soul Refining technique?

Secondly, the power of the evil technique "Seven Fiends Gathering Body" is surprisingly strong!

Even though he was careless just now, his life cultivation is far stronger than his son's!

In fact, the fundamental reason why cultivating the Seven Fiends Body can permanently enhance one's strength is that what is being refined is not only the boy's soul, but also the boy's innate Qi!

Completely refining the boy's soul is equivalent to completely integrating his innate Qi into one's own body!

Thirdly, Shi Jian couldn't believe that his own son would attack him!

indeed.

He made the first move, intending to stage a "righteous act of sacrificing family ties" for his master, for the rest of the Zhengyi sect, and for the members of the Confucian Society.

But how can a son defy his father?

Ruler and subject, father and son!

Ethical principles and court order!

君要臣death,臣不得不death!

If a father wants his son to die, the son has no choice but to die!

He can kill his own son.

But the son must never fight back!

Moreover, he was forced to kill because he had no other choice and was extremely helpless.

But what about the son?

Shi Shaojian's eyes were filled with resentment; he showed absolutely no understanding of his father.

This child must not be allowed to live!

"Shi Jian, you hypocritical scoundrel!"

Shi Shaojian cursed loudly, ripped off his clothes, revealing his completely black upper body, which was filled with black evil energy, and two hideous boy faces appeared on his chest and navel.

"Bastard!"

The leader of Maoshan Sect could not bear it any longer. His clothes fluttered as he glared angrily: "Practicing evil magic, harming children, and committing treason, I want to kill your father!"

Sins cannot be forgiven!

"Surrender now and tell me where you got your Seven Fiends Body-Gathering Technique, and I might still leave you a whole corpse!"

This is also the fundamental reason why the leader of Maoshan Sect did not take immediate action; he wanted to find out where Shi Shaojian obtained this evil technique.

Before he could ask any further questions, Shi Jian roared, his eyes turning bloodshot. He circulated the five elements in his chest, gathering hundreds of bolts of lightning between his palms and shoving them out horizontally.

boom!

Wherever lightning strikes, the air is ionized!

The moment it struck Shi Shaojian, it shattered the malevolent energy on his body, seeping into his internal organs and turning them into charred remains...

# Chapter 1096 Golden Core and Rejuvenating Core

"Shi Jian, what are you doing?"

The leader of Maoshan Sect was furious.

"Master!"

With a thud, Shi Jian knelt down and kowtowed, not daring to look directly into the angry eyes of the Maoshan Sect Leader. "This wicked beast has fallen into evil ways and is extremely rebellious, bringing shame to Maoshan. I really can't stand it, and I don't want to trouble Master, so I'll take matters into my own hands and clean up the sect!"

Instantly.

The head of Maoshan opened his mouth, but then had nothing more to say.

At this moment, it was not appropriate for the other branches of the Zhengyi sect and the members of the Confucian Society to intervene, and everyone present had some doubts about the actions of this "Maoshan Corpse Brother".

Was it truly to clean house, or to silence witnesses?

If it's the former, then it's easy to talk about.

If it is the latter—

That Maoshan has produced an "extraordinary" figure!

However, there was no substantial evidence at this time. Even if Jiang Liu cultivated his wisdom eye and refined his Dharma eye, he could not convict him on a whim! After all, the Zhengyi sect was not yet under his command!

Seeing the tense atmosphere, Jiang Liu stretched out a hand and slightly beckoned his finger towards Shi Jian's charred corpse. Two streams of malevolent energy floated out from it, landing in his palm and manifesting two ferocious faces.

Before anyone could be surprised, the two malevolent energies in his palms slowly dissipated, revealing a pair of boys, no bigger than jujubes, with bright eyes.

"This is?!"

Zhang Jingqing's eyes widened, her face filled with disbelief.

Those who die have not cultivated the Yang spirit, and their nature and spirit are damaged. Even if they are transformed into Yin spirits, their minds are incomplete. How can they be as clear-headed as this?

The other Taoists were also incredulous.

Ignoring their shock, Jiang Liu simply said, "I currently have no way to bring the dead back to life. I can save your spirits, but I cannot revive your bodies..."

The two children's bodies had been dead for a night, their brains were completely dead, and the innate Qi remaining in their bodies had completely dissipated.

Even if he has a way to avoid death and prolong life, he can only avoid death, but cannot bring the dead back to life.

"...Therefore, I can only give you two choices now."

The first option is to return to the universe, dispersing into a wisp of energy, which may last for one lifetime or millions of lifetimes, perhaps allowing one to be reborn as a human again.

There are countless living beings in the world, and there is no underworld or reincarnation in the real world. One's Qi rotates, and whether one can become a human in one lifetime depends entirely on luck.

of course.

With Jiang Liu's current methods, he could find two pregnant women and teach them how to be human.

While they were pitiful, it was unfair to the two original infants.

"Secondly, you will temporarily enter my Golden Core and Holy Embryo. I will find a 'guardian' for you two to guide your cultivation and experience the scenery of my body and mind in the Three Realms."

The two children, though naive, were also bold and chose the second path.

And so.

With a thought, Jiang Liu felt a slight tremor in the innate spiritual root herb, Huan Dan, which manifested as a human form that emerged from Jiang Liu's body.

But his appearance was exactly the same as Jiang Liu's, except—

Wearing a patchwork robe and a sash, he brandishes a whisk and lightly taps a fisherman's drum. Three-eared straw sandals adorn his feet, and a turban covers his head. The wind rustles through his sleeves as he sings "The Moon Is High."

He was dressed as a Taoist priest.

"Greetings, this humble Taoist."

Under the astonished gazes of the crowd, the Taoist-looking fellow bowed and paid his respects to Jiang Liu in a pretentious manner.

"Stop being silly!"

Jiang Liu remained silent, handing the lives of the two children over to him. He then said to Zhang Jingqing and the others, “I suppose you all know that I am a child born with a special destiny, but I am different from ordinary children. I can bestow divine titles upon myself, which is called ‘Conferring Godhood’.”

This person is a part of me, created by the circulation of my body's meridians just now. In a sense, he is the master of the five internal organs, so calling him 'Zhen Yuanzi' would be appropriate.

"Fellow Daoists, I am Zhen Yuanzi, and I greet you."

Just as Zhen Yuanzi opened his mouth to Zhang Jingqing and the others, Jiang Liu grabbed his head and pressed it down. Jiang Liu withdrew his golden core and explained to everyone, talking about his cultivation, saying, "Celestial Master, please don't be offended. Letting Zhen Yuanzi out is to let you know that I don't intend to refine the spirits of these two Daoist boys to do evil things. It's just that I happened to meet them and wanted to give them a chance to experience another kind of human world."

My body and mind have become one with the world.

To get to the bottom of it—

As the saying goes, Taoism cultivates the body, and Zen cultivates the mind. The human body has two aspects: the physical aspect, which includes the primordial spirit, brain, internal organs, muscles, bones, and skin; and the mental aspect, which represents the spiritual world...

In the Journey to the West, the herb that returns to the elixir is of water and wood, while the monkey and the golden prince are of fire and metal. Both were born from earth and are innate spiritual roots, which is exactly the way of the unity of metal and wood and the nature of temperament.

In the art of Qi cultivation, one can use the kidneys and liver to represent Zhen Yuanzi and the heart and lungs to represent Sun Wukong, implying that the foundation of cultivation lies in the Five Elements, but I have already gathered the Five Elements for use.

Looking at "Journey to the West" again, and observing Zhen Yuan and Wu Kong, we see a more essential aspect, simply because the ginseng fruit is actually a herbal elixir.

Unlike the Golden Elixir, the Rejuvenating Elixir is formed by the Nine-Turn Golden Elixir through enlightenment and can return to its original source.

In fact, it shouldn't just be the water and wood elements of the kidneys and liver.

Then, considering the name "Wuzhuang Temple," one can understand that the five internal organs are the foundation of life and destiny.

The Tao cultivates the root of all things, while the Buddha illuminates the nature of Dharma.

Zhen Yuanzi is the root of all the cycles of existence in the body and mind. Sun Wukong, by cultivating his mind through Buddhism, must forge an enduring and indestructible spiritual nature within his heart and mind.

Afterwards, Zhen Yuanzi returned to the Golden Elixir of Body and Mind, and placed the two boys on either side of the Ginseng Fruit Tree, where they were nurtured by the Qi of the Five Elements, in order to create a "physical body" and cultivate within the Three Realms of Jiangliu and Humanity.
