Zhang Dong was speechless, yet also puzzled: "Am I wrong?"

“I know that some schools use the principles of cultivation from Journey to the West to admonish their disciples, but I still want to say, don’t shoot the arrow first and then draw the target.”

Wugensheng wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes and smiled, "The job of being a stable boy will already be done when this junior brother becomes a stable boy in the future, because all the heavenly horses are plump and strong."

The person leading the horse on the journey to the West was Sha Wujing, not Sun Wukong.

Of course, the person who should actually be leading the horse is Pigsy.

Why must it be Pigsy leading the horse?

Having mastered the four words "manifestation, esoteric, perfection, and penetration," Wugensheng had already realized that cultivation was nothing more than gathering the five elements and cultivating the golden elixir.

Tang Sanzang is the primordial spirit, Wukong is the mind monkey and the golden god, the white dragon horse is the will horse, Bajie is the wood mother, and Sha Wujing is the yellow woman.

Let's set aside the primordial spirit for now.

The five internal organs, five emotions, and five vital energies are represented by the Yellow Woman as the central palace, harmonizing yin and yang, existing independently; the Mind Monkey and the Golden Duke have already merged into Wukong, representing yang; but the Will Horse and the Wood Mother are yin, yet they have not merged, becoming the Dragon Horse and Pigsy, each independent.

Therefore, in Wugensheng's view, from the perspective of spiritual practice, Guanyin Bodhisattva had to make up for the last tribulation because this spiritual practice was incomplete, and he had no choice but to do so.

When Pigsy and Dragon Horse were finally bestowed titles by the Buddha, it was "Your official rank and attainment," not the "Great rank and attainment" bestowed upon Tang Sanzang, Monkey King, and Sandy.

of course.

We need to call upon the Wood Mother to lead the Horse of Intent...

Without great perseverance and wisdom, one should not pursue this path.

Otherwise, the journey to the west would probably have taken more than fourteen years and involved more than eighty-one tribulations.

What is the difference between "Your Primary Qualification" and "Great Primary Qualification"?

Wei Shufen asked, "Aren't they all the same?"

Unlike Jiang Liu, Wu Gensheng, though studious, was ultimately raised by a Taoist priest and knew little about Buddhist attainments. Although the library here contained a vast collection of scriptures, the classification of attainments was rather vague. Therefore, he could only say, "The former may have worked hard even without merit, so a title is given as encouragement; the latter means that one has truly attained the Dao in cultivation."

"Oh, is that so? Then Buddhism is quite secular," Wei Shufen remarked.

"The Buddhism in our area is more pragmatic than Taoism."

Gao Gen added a sentence.

“I suddenly had an idea: what if we wait until Wukong gets up in the middle of the night to ambush him and make him miss his chance? Would Master still pass on the Great Dao to him then?” Wei Shufen had a wicked thought.

It is:

A single thought can give rise to a hundred demons, and a disordered temperament can lead to the loss of one's Daoist heart.

"Don't cause trouble."

Having cultivated the Great Dao himself, Wugensheng was already different from his six brothers and sisters. He could vaguely see the Dao aura surrounding the patriarch, as vast as the universe and as small as a mustard seed. What secrets in the world could be hidden from him?

Instead of being happy that their junior brother had solved the mystery, these senior brothers and sisters caused trouble out of jealousy, which truly ruined the physical training of a cultivator.

“Cultivators should not be disturbed by the same person, otherwise, if the master gets angry, our spirits may really be banished to the deepest hell, where it will be difficult to turn back for countless eons.”

Wugensheng's expression was extremely solemn. "Besides, according to the rules of the Patriarch, we should have gone down the mountain long ago. The fact that we can still stay here to listen to the Great Dao is only due to the Patriarch's compassion."

Zhang Dong, Feng Tianyang, Zhao Pingshan, Zhao Tianhai, Gao Gen, and the others naturally did not want to ruin Wukong's opportunity.

Wei Shufen was jolted awake. She came to her senses and was grateful to Wugensheng for waking her up, otherwise she would have made a terrible mistake. You see, Wukong's nickname, Guyue Yuanjue, was given to him by her senior sister.

Chapter 1310 Cultivating Profound Mysteries, Returning to Mortal Form

In the blink of an eye.

Three years have passed in a flash.

Wukong attained the Great Dao, cultivated the profound secrets of both exoteric and esoteric Buddhism, and obtained the word "truth," thus understanding the nature of Dharma and solidifying his origin.

Afterwards, the patriarch passed on to him the secret methods to avoid the three calamities, the seventy-two transformations, and the method of cloud soaring, the somersault cloud.

Especially the Somersault Cloud, which the other disciples in the cave praised and envied, saying that Wukong could find food anywhere, whether he was a shopkeeper, a clerk, a messenger, or a deliveryman.

Wugensheng and the other six heard this clearly; it wasn't a joke, but rather that these disciples' perspectives were truly limited to this.

Even those who are fortunate enough to come to this spiritual platform believe that the greatest use of the Cloud Soaring Technique, which allows one to fly over mountains and cross seas, is to deliver documents, pawnshop soldiers, and report forms.

With such a limited perspective, how can one become an immortal?

Wugensheng envied Wukong's talent; compared to him, his own talent was simply that of a fool!

Even though he had learned the Seventy-Two Transformations, his transformation skills were not as agile as Wukong's.

And what about the method of cloud soaring?

He learned it, but he couldn't do a somersault that covered 108,000 li in one go; he could only travel nearly 10,000 li in a single day.

As Wukong's cultivation progress caught up with and far surpassed that of his "true" senior brother Wugensheng, the arrogance that had been suppressed in his heart finally surfaced. In his spare time, he mostly practiced martial arts, and did less chores such as chopping wood, carrying water, and washing clothes.

Wugensheng once tried to persuade Wukong, but Wukong just smiled and said to him, "I have already cultivated a body that is neither born nor dies, how can I do such a thing again?"

At this moment, in Wukong's eyes, if Yinghe hadn't entered the sect earlier than him and become a "true" senior brother, he wouldn't have bothered with her.

Don't you see that even his fellow disciples have to give way to him now?

"Ah~"

Watching Wukong go to the meditation room to cultivate, Wugensheng sighed, lamenting both the arrogance of the spiritual root after learning its skills and his own past self.

Although he often knelt before others, his arrogance was no less than that of Wukong. As a result, he wasted his years in Quanxing. Although his cultivation improved, he was still far behind Jiang Liu in terms of cultivation. Even after becoming a disciple of Bodhi and comprehending the Great Dao, he realized that Jiang Liu's cultivation was no less than that of Subhuti.

Is this real? Or a dream?

For a moment, Wugensheng began to doubt the reality of this world, but then he shook his head and went to the back mountain to weed and catch insects in the fields. Looking at the golden rice paddies, he couldn't help but smile...

Day two.

Wukong, flattered by his fellow disciples, forgot about his cultivation and transformed into a pine tree in front of everyone. The Patriarch discovered this and came out to reprimand him, saying, "Those who cultivate should not let their mouths open and their tongues stir up trouble. What are you doing making such a racket here instead of cultivating?"

"Master, please forgive us. It was we who wanted Wukong to turn into a pine tree."

Although the disciples encouraged Wukong to transform, they did not want him to be punished and admitted that it was their fault.

Upon hearing this, the Patriarch dismissed them, leaving only Wukong behind, and asked, "I ask you, is it possible to show off such skills to others? If you see others have them, you will definitely ask them for help; if others see you have them, they will definitely ask you for help. If you don't give them to them, and they harm you, your life will be in danger."

"Master! Master! Please forgive me this time, I promise I won't do it again!"

Wukong hurriedly kowtowed and admitted his mistake.

But the patriarch was determined and said, "I will not punish you, but you may go."

Wukong, born of the innate spiritual root nurtured by the river, was incredibly intelligent. He immediately understood his master's intention and hurriedly kowtowed, asking, "Master, where do you want me to go?"

"Go back to where you came from."

The patriarch spoke earnestly, and before Wukong could react, his expression changed again. He said in a deep voice, "After you leave, you are not allowed to say that you are my disciple, and I will never see you again."

"Master! Master!"

Wukong was terrified and prostrated himself on the ground, begging his master to rescind his order.

But the patriarch already wanted to send this spiritual root to the human realm of the three realms of human beings to experience and seek the unity of knowledge and action. He only instructed, "If you go there, you will definitely cause trouble and do evil. I only hope that you will do more good deeds. Otherwise, I will not forgive you."

"disciple--"

Wukong looked up at the back of his patriarch as he turned away, his eyes filled with tears, and replied, "I've remembered it."

Not far away.

As Wukong somersaulted and vanished into the sky, Wugensheng and the others noticed that Subhuti's words in driving Wukong away were much gentler than when he had driven away Haifa and Xingzhen three hundred years earlier.

Can't I be gentle?

Hai Fa and Xing Zhen were merely beings born from a single thought of Jiang Liu, while Sun Wukong/Gu Yue Yuan Jue was Jiang Liu's heart monkey, a part of Jiang Liu's spirit, will, soul, and mind, and also an innate spiritual root nurtured with great effort. How could he not be attentive?

When the Mind Monkey, Will Horse, Golden Lord, Wooden Mother, and Yellow Woman understand their true nature and return to the Five Spirits, the cultivation method of the Golden Elixir and Sacred Embryo may be further advanced, and the "Creation and Enlightenment Technique" may be fully achieved!

"Master."

Wugensheng cried out.

The patriarch turned around and, before the seven of them could speak again, said, "You have stayed for ten years too long. Your master-disciple relationship has ended. Go down the mountain and you will be able to return."

The seven men trembled and knelt down to kowtow. But when they stood up again, they had already reached the foot of the mountain.

There was nothing we could do.

The seven bowed once more to the top of the Lingtai Mountain, then turned and stepped out of Fangcun Mountain.

hum-

Inside Master Ziyang's cave, the seven people awoke with a start, their eyes snapping open, each filled with surprise and uncertainty.

Gao Gen touched his cheek and asked incredulously, "Is that true?"

Zhang Dong stood up, stretched, and muttered, "It seems we haven't left this cave at all?"

Feng Tianyang used the Spirit Binding Technique to summon a spirit that had already signed a contract with him, exclaiming in surprise, "This is not a dream!"

Zhao Pingshan practiced his divine strategy, and Zhao Tianhai displayed his hundred-fold refinement. They looked at each other, both able to see the horror in their brothers' eyes.

Wei Shufen stretched, feeling completely refreshed, and said in a deep voice, "Perhaps it's not a dream."

Despite cultivating in their spiritual realm for three hundred years, these six individuals still possessed weak physical bodies. Consequently, they had forgotten most of their three hundred years of cultivation memories, as if it were all a dream.

However, the progress of the learned methods is preserved and can be practiced directly.

Wugensheng was the last to wake up, but his eyes were incredibly gentle, no longer due to the effects of the technique, but because he had truly reached the state of inner peace and inner clarity.

Three hundred years of farming memories—

Completely integrated into my heart!

Opening up the mind's vision, refining the five elements, forging a spark of spiritual light, and storing it in the ancestral aperture—though faint, it is still the cultivation of the golden elixir of body and mind.

As for the sacred embryo of the Qi formation?

Although he exists alongside the Golden Elixir, Wugensheng has never seen the true appearance of heaven and earth, so he finds it difficult to apply it flexibly.

"Seventh Brother, you've really given us a great fortune."

Seeing Wugensheng open his eyes, Gao Gen was extremely grateful. "Having obtained the Qi Hunyuan Profound Technique, I am even more confident in verifying the Dao in my heart."

"Seventh Brother, what have you realized?"
