Longbo was completely baffled by this; it was the first time he had encountered such a situation, and he had never anticipated that something like this would happen.

With the Green Reaper's mission complete, Longbo left Pandora and returned to his original world.

His figure remains in Pandora's realm, but the outside world has shifted from Pandora to the Earth's core.

He did not leave the demon realm immediately, but sat on a boulder, head down, lost in thought.

The environment of Pandora's Wonderland is as magnificent as the scenery of Pandora itself, with all kinds of new plants nurturing endless vitality in this verdant world.

The mountain ranges rise and fall, and rivers and waterfalls of unknown origin outline pale blue veins in this mountain range that is almost the size of an international metropolis.

A magnetic field as powerful as Pandora permeates the entire "world," making the false sunlight seem increasingly real and turning the ubiquitous steam into clouds.

Majestic mountains float above Pandora's Magic Land, while several rainbows of swirling colors hang high, creating a fairyland-like scene with clouds and floating islands.

The wartdogs, still feeling the effects of the drastic environmental changes, spread out in all directions from the center of the mountains, rediscovering this transformed world.

The golden ship glanced up at the wartdog marking its territory, its silly horse-face showing a hint of disdain, before dragging the fire dragon's corpse and disappearing.

Longbo did not immediately observe the world; at this moment, he was still pondering the question of the Black Death.

But it wasn't that he was heartbroken over that one attribute point; rather, he was pondering why the mission had failed.

Has the time limit been reached?

It's unlikely; the Norn Messenger's quest is still hidden and there are no failure prompts whatsoever.

Did the Black Death die before he was able to carry out his mission?

That's quite possible, but we can't be completely certain.

After a long while, Longbo raised his head again and tried to communicate with the task panel.

"Is there anything like a failure replay function?"

Despite the mission's failure and the fact that everything was already set in stone, Longbo was still curious about what had happened to the Black Death.

Not only that, he wanted to see what kind of world this unfortunate black dragon had gone to.

As Longbo's voice faded, the air seemed to freeze for a moment, and an imperceptible ripple spread.

This made Longbo even more certain that the panel could respond to him under certain special circumstances.

Many years ago, Longbo had just experienced a period of growth, and his ego inevitably became a little inflated, boasting that he was invincible.

At that moment, the panel presented him with two challenging tasks, which quickly calmed him down.

The air began to flow again, and a deep blue light screen, visible only to Longbo, unfolded before his eyes.

The final cutscene of the Black Death's defeat flashed before Longbo's eyes.

The first thing that catches the eye is a desolate world, devoid of any life, even to the naked eye.

The sky was as dark as ink, with streaks of lightning flashing and leaping in the clouds, and muffled thunder rumbling continuously.

The mountains, riddled with holes, lie across the earth like a dead giant beast, with countless canyon-like cracks and deep abysses that are the wounds that "killed" them.

The desolate landscape stretched endlessly, dotted with ruins of civilized cities and warships unlike anything Longbo had ever seen.

Black ash fell from the sky, almost everywhere, drifting very slowly, like a gray-black blizzard covering the ground with a thick black blanket.

The black blizzard seemed to be some kind of disaster in this world; anything that touched it would suffer scorching pain and die in agony.

In this world that seemed to be nothing but despair and death, the figure of a colossal creature appeared without warning.

In Longbo's understanding, the Black Death - Belial is a fire dragon from A Song of Ice and Fire.

It seemed to realize that it had entered an unfamiliar environment, and then landed on a wrecked warship.

The black dragon, over two hundred meters long, stood on the wreckage of the warship, stretching its long neck to look around. The unfamiliar environment and the intense pain in its body made it uneasy.

The omnipresent black blizzard quickly covered its body, and although it was no ordinary creature and was covered in thick scales, it still felt the burning pain.

So it endured the excruciating pain once again and flew beneath the clouds, its jet-black scales almost blending into the dim world.

Only the occasional flash of lightning could illuminate its shadow, which could almost cover a medieval town.

It flew for several hours in that world, and saw many humanoid creatures with animal features and surrounded by blood-red light in the distance, fighting against the long-eared humanoid creatures on the ground at speeds faster than sound.

Bellerion didn't know what it was, but it felt a deathly fear from every creature below it and had no intention of getting any closer.

It flew in another direction and eventually encountered a "human" that was also flying.

It resembled a petite human woman, dressed quite scantily, with a pair of small white wings growing from her lower back, a complex halo floating above her head, pink hair, colorful eyes, and stunning beauty.

The "human" was clearly stunned when he saw Bellerion, then his eyes lit up and he looked like a pervert.

"Dragon spirit seed? Demon seed?"

"No, none of those seem to be it." The pink-haired creature's expression gradually crumbled, an inexplicable blush appearing on its face, its eyes seeming to be strained: "However, it seems to be a head with considerable collectible value!!"

"Since we can't get the head of the dragon spirit, it doesn't seem like a bad idea to just use a head that looks similar."

The angelic-looking creature conjured a scythe in its hand with a laugh, and before Bellerion could react, it had already severed its head.

The massive black dragon's corpse was severed, its blood splattering high into the sky before crashing heavily into the mountains. The scene ended with a faint sound of laughter.

The light screen disappeared, and it wasn't until several minutes later that Longbo snapped out of his reverie.

Black Death is really unlucky.

This was practically the only thought in Longbo's mind.

It existed at the top of the food chain in its original world, known as the Grim Reaper, but for unknown reasons, it went to another world and bumped into an elite monster in a high-magic world.

Before it could even realize what was happening, it was killed casually, its death being extremely hasty.

How could a dragon be so unlucky?

Chapter 42 Orangutans

Several days have passed since the last mission, and Longbo and the Golden Ship have left the Icefield and entered a new area.

The sound of horses' hooves echoed through the dimly lit canyon passage in the middle of the plateau, amplified by the dark dome, and reverberated among the jagged, fang-like stone forest.

This area is perpetually shrouded in thick fog, with the ground covered in cooled, solidified lava and devoid of vegetation.

The air deep in the canyon was unusually murky, permeated with a suffocating stench of decay. Pale mist swirled around the towering stone pillars, making everything in the distance appear hazy, and something seemed to be writhing in the darkness.

The air around the Golden Ship made it sneeze, the sound unusually loud in the nearly enclosed environment, overlapping with the sound of horses' hooves, eerie and chilling.

The canyon, practically screaming "danger," made the Golden Ship increasingly uneasy. Turning to look at Longbo, its narrow, vertical pupils revealed a hint of hesitation.

Is this the only way to go?

Longbo understood the meaning in the golden ship's eyes, but he didn't pay much attention to it and gestured for it to continue forward.

Actually, he also felt that something was wrong with this plateau. It was normal that his vision could not penetrate the plateau, but it was a little problematic that these things, which looked like thick fog and miasma, could interfere with his magnetic field perception.

But apart from this canyon, the surrounding area is all cliffs stretching for thousands of meters, requiring either a detour of thousands of kilometers or the creation of a path through the mountains.

Out of confidence, Longbo ultimately chose the shortest route.

The golden ship had turned back more than ten times along the way, but it still showed no sign of giving up.

Longbo suddenly understood the meaning of the saying that overly intelligent dogs cannot be police dogs or military dogs.

Even the Golden Ship, with its low intelligence, would try to run away at the sight of danger; imagine what would happen to the Shepherds over there.

The golden ship obviously couldn't go against Longbo's wishes, so it could only sulk and race wildly through the winding canyon, deliberately increasing the amplitude of its movements, trying to shake Longbo to death on its back.

But it clearly underestimated Longbo's ability to withstand pressure; its actions did nothing to harm Longbo.

It was the creature that was startled by the white bone it suddenly stepped on that made it behave itself.

But it is precisely because of its actions that the road that should have taken a lot of time to cross is now only a small section.

The canyon ends just a few thousand meters ahead, but the scattered bones of various wild beasts are increasing, to the point that even an intellectually disabled person could see the problem.

Longbo's gaze fell on the surrounding skeletons, his four eyes narrowing slightly. These giant beast skeletons had wounds that looked like they had been cut by sharp blades, which made him somewhat concerned.

Turning around to look around, the hundreds of meters high, staggered stone forest "grows" many brown vines, which intertwine and spread, forming a giant net with the huge trees that seem to have come from nowhere, just enough to cover the densely packed boulders above.

Amidst the cliff face obscured by corpses ahead, a few sharpened animal bones were faintly visible.

Clearly, this is a trap.

A trap designed for large creatures.

This canyon, located in the middle of the plateau, seems to be the perfect ambush route. Detours take too long and are too difficult to climb. In comparison, this canyon is almost the only way, and the chances of a successful ambush are very high.

The size of these traps is clearly designed to deal with giant units, so they couldn't have been set up by humans. It's obvious who set them up.

Giant gorilla.

In the inner world, besides the Titans and the Ivy, the only other creatures with the highest intelligence are the giant gorillas.

The monkeys that Longbo had seen certainly didn't have this kind of intelligence, and the silverback gorillas are almost extinct; the remaining ones are probably playing Boom Beach on Skull Island.

All that's left are chimpanzees and gibbons.

I just don't know which one it is.

Thinking of this, Longbo looked once again at the exit at the end of the canyon, taking in the faintly visible biomagnetic field there.

Clearly, the creature that set the trap is right ahead.

"Is this targeting me again?"

Longbo felt he had guessed the truth. He stopped the golden ship with the reins and, under the latter's puzzled gaze, unfolded the Rainbow Magic Realm and put it inside.

A deep blue light emanated from his body, illuminating the dim canyon and making more details of the trap clearly visible.

Upon discovering that the trap was aimed at him, Longbo immediately chose to use his superior ranged ability to flip the table.

Flipping the table over would definitely be the right thing to do.

This massive commotion naturally caught the attention of the culprits lying in ambush outside. With a series of panicked screams, the traps that had already been set up were activated.

The giant net loosened, and countless boulders fell with tremendous force, carrying thick clouds of dust that covered Longbo.

But it was too late. The charged particle cannon swept in all directions, annihilating any suspicious signs that came into view.

The mountain's rock face was pierced, and the charged particle cannon, carrying boulders, swept across, slicing more than a dozen giant gorillas in half. The terrifying aftershocks landed on distant mountaintops, causing deafening explosions.

The blue light filled the eyes of all the gorillas, and the emanating energy sent chills down their spines.
