It's only because the King of Hearts is a Muggle that Sherlock would have really wanted to have a serious talk with him about what he meant by "eating a belly full of stones"! You have to understand, all those food items neatly categorized and placed in those bottles and jars were bought by Sherlock himself!

Even after her mother's body was gone, Sherlock had to manually restock it himself! The King of Hearts really bit the hand that feeds him, ungrateful for kindness.

With his blood pressure rising, Sherlock gave the King of Hearts a huge eye roll and left the entire Red Right Hand Squad with a sullen back view.

Even after everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, Sherlock was still cursing and swearing while cleaning up the magical tablecloth, completely ignoring the King of Hearts.

When they started traveling again, he took out a bamboo dragonfly from his four-dimensional pocket and attached it to his lower back. He then used the bamboo dragonfly's ability to follow behind the rest of the group.

This is in the middle of nowhere, because if someone saw this, it would be enough to scare them half to death.

Behind a group of menacing soldiers, something that could be either a ghost or a corpse floated by, making the scene quite eerie.

Even more bizarrely, if you get close to this group, you can even hear a rhythmic and soothing snoring sound!

Indeed, Sherlock was too lazy to bother with the tedious journey anymore. He only attached the bamboo dragonfly to his lower back to make it easier to sleep in a more comfortable position.

As for the direction of the bamboo dragonfly? It's simple. Sherlock simply used alchemy to modify the bamboo dragonfly so that it would automatically follow the team.

After testing it and confirming that there was nothing wrong, Sherlock closed his eyes and fell asleep peacefully, even sleeping so soundly that snot bubbles came out of his nose.

As for the Red Right Hand Squad?

Sherlock became the absolute focus of the entire squad the moment he pulled out the bamboo dragonfly.

However, after the Red Right Squad watched Sherlock's entire performance, all eyes turned to the captain, King of Hearts.

Most importantly, everyone looked at the King of Hearts with a sense of 'why is our life so miserable'.

Even the captain of Hearts, K, had his facial features contorted in pain after seeing Sherlock's actions.

Honestly, he now understands why the higher-ups said he and his team were too morally upright, and why they forced this jerk in to teach them a lesson.

This damn guy isn't here to teach them; he's just here to mess with their mentality!

Damn it, everyone's struggling to get here on foot, and you're just giving us one-click follow, making us sleep like snot bubbles. How are these poor souls, who have to stay up all night to get here, supposed to feel? How are you supposed to lead this team?

The King of Hearts didn't understand, was deeply shocked, and let out a heartfelt exclamation.

"I have to say, I'm certain now that the Avengers are willing to tolerate someone like this among them; they're truly remarkable!"

As the King of Hearts uttered this remark, the expressions behind the masks of the members of the Red Right Hand Squad all began to contort.

If Sherlock almost broke their mentality in such a short time, what kind of mess would this thing make of the Avengers?

In an instant, the concept of "there are mountains beyond mountains, and people beyond people" became a tangible reality in the minds of all of them.

They would never know that the Avengers were not the ones who could withstand Sherlock's wrath; everyone was simply driven to desperation by Sherlock's torment and had no way to defend themselves.

Of course, Sherlock, who was already asleep, would never tell them this.

Sherlock slept very soundly. Although the bamboo dragonfly seemed to work on the same principle as a helicopter, it actually flew using an anti-gravity field.

This means that even flying in mid-air is quite comfortable; Sherlock, for one, didn't find any problems.

When Sherlock regained consciousness, it was already broad daylight. Although he was still floating in mid-air, the entire Red Right Hand Squad had stopped advancing.

The first thing Sherlock saw when he opened his eyes was the entire Red Right Squad sitting together, staring at a rather crude hand-drawn map and discussing something in hushed tones.

Sherlock silently put away the bamboo dragonfly on his back and landed on the ground. While brushing his teeth, he took out a toothbrush and toothpaste from his four-dimensional pocket and moved closer to the Red Right Hand Squad, looking at the simple map with a curious expression.

After a while, Sherlock still couldn't figure out what was drawn on it, and could only vaguely ask the frowning King of Hearts.

"What are you looking at? Are we at the mission location, ready to start combat?"

The King of Hearts, who was engrossed in his tactical plans, was startled by Sherlock's voice. When he looked up and saw Sherlock with foam in his mouth and holding an enamel mug, looking like he had just woken up from a luxury hotel room, he was furious.

Looking at this group of people, they had traveled all night and were exhausted, covered in dust and mud, a stark contrast to Sherlock.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. He almost gritted his teeth as he spoke to Sherlock.

"Yo~ You're finally awake~ If you hadn't woken up soon, our mission would have been almost complete~"

Chapter 640 Sherlock's Cunning Moves (Part 1)

Sherlock didn't react at all to the Queen of Hearts' sarcastic and abusive tone, which sounded like that of a wronged woman. After spitting out the water he used to rinse his mouth, he wiped his face haphazardly with a wet wipe before slumping down next to the Queen of Hearts in an annoyed manner.

"Stop acting like a girl, tell me what's going on!"

Upon hearing Sherlock's words, the King of Hearts rolled her eyes at him in annoyance before beginning to explain in detail everything about the map to Sherlock.

After all, the King of Hearts wasn't stupid. He was just venting his emotions by complaining a bit after getting to know Sherlock. He couldn't possibly be really upset that Sherlock didn't take them to bed, could he? That would be pure nonsense.

As for why the King of Hearts' brows are furrowed so deeply that they could trap a fly?

It's very simple, Chun Chun was stumped by the enemy's base.

The base that houses the Imperial Seal and the Eight-Part Light Wheel appears quite simple from the outside; it's a small open space separated by a three- or four-meter-high wooden wall.

Inside the high walls were five or six small wooden houses surrounding a tall wooden tower used for guard duty. The entire base exuded the style of a bandit stronghold in Northeast China before the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Of course, these are not the problems that Red Hearts K finds troublesome. What really troubles Red Hearts K is the thing under the high tower used for guarding, located in the very center of the village.

That's right. That village wasn't actually the core of the entire base. To be precise, it was just the gate to the entire base.

The real base was a bunker built of reinforced concrete, and the entrance to the entire bunker was located under the tall tower in the very center of the village.

This layout means one thing: all the outer wooden buildings are essentially 'warning devices' for the bunker. In other words, if they attack the outer stronghold and alert the bunker's interior, it means that if they do, the bunker will be alerted.

The first thing the bunker needs to do is close the door to the bunker located beneath the tower.

Once that heavy bunker door closes, their mission will be declared a failure.

After all, the heavy door wasn't meant to defend against so-called 'intruders,' but rather to buy as much time as possible for the important personnel inside the bunker.

If they cannot enter the bunker immediately, it is almost certain that once they enter, the entire bunker will be deserted, and at the very least, the people or items they want will have vanished without a trace.

This is what's giving the King of Hearts the biggest headache; he can't think of any way to guarantee the mission's completion.

However, to the surprise of the King of Hearts, after hearing his explanation, Sherlock looked at him with disbelief and said only two words to him.

"That's it?"

"???"

When Sherlock asked such a profound question, the King of Hearts was completely dumbfounded. No, this wasn't troublesome enough?

Keep in mind that their team only has 13 people, and they are at a disadvantage in terms of both numbers and firepower. Even if Red Hearts K is confident that his teammates can close the gap with their long-term training advantage and superior equipment, the current situation is still quite troublesome for a normal person.

He never expected Sherlock to ask him such a question.

However, Sherlock soon proved with his actions why the higher-ups said their moral standards were a bit too high.

After hearing about their predicament, Sherlock offered a fighting strategy that broke through the limits of human capability almost without hesitation.

Do you have two drones?

This was the first question Sherlock asked after hearing about the difficulties faced by the King of Hearts. After receiving confirmation from the King of Hearts, Sherlock asked the second question.

"Given the size of this stronghold, it's obvious that the entire bunker's ventilation system isn't located inside the stronghold. Are your men confident they can find a ventilation opening in the bunker?"

The King of Hearts once again gave a positive answer, which can be considered a basic operation for the team members.

What Red Hearts K couldn't understand was that, in his view, even if they found the ventilation shaft, it would be of no use. After all, the ventilation shaft of such a bunker would definitely not be too big. At most, it could only let a rat in, and a normal human could not possibly enter the ventilation shaft.

The King of Hearts couldn't understand why Sherlock was asking this.

Sherlock, however, did not explain to the King of Hearts or the entire Red Right Squad. After receiving a positive answer from the King of Hearts, Sherlock took over the two drones from the Red Right Squad.

First, he took out a medicine pack that was the same as the one he had given them before from his four-dimensional pocket, tied it together with a low-latency grenade using transparent tape, and then fixed it to the drone.

Sherlock then took out several glass bottles filled with liquid from his pocket and divided them into two groups.

After attaching one of the items, along with a low-latency grenade, to the drone, Sherlock pulled out a gas mask and a heavy rubber glove from his four-dimensional pocket and pointed at them to Red Heart K.

"Find someone to find the bunker's ventilation shaft. Once they find it, put on a mask and gloves, pour the stuff from that glass bottle into it, and then run a distance away before taking off the gas mask and gloves and throwing them away."

As for the two drones, get the one with the glass bottle inside the bunker before the doors close, and detonate the other one on the hilltop.

Although the Red Right Hand warriors didn't know what the liquid in those glass bottles was, they knew all too well what was in the explosive pack that Sherlock had asked them to detonate on the mountain stronghold.

So much so that the King of Hearts' gaze towards Sherlock began to tremble slightly as he pointed to the glass bottles containing liquid and asked Sherlock a question.

"Can you tell me what's inside those glass bottles?"

Upon hearing the King of Hearts' question, Sherlock simply spread his hands like a little bear, speaking to the King of Hearts with an air of complete self-righteousness.

"What else could it be? A fast-evaporating version of what's in that medicine packet."

As soon as Sherlock finished speaking, the entire Red Right Hand Squad swallowed hard in unison, their eyes filled with awe as they looked at Sherlock.

After all, what good person would think to use laxatives, aphrodisiacs, sleeping pills, tear gas, or even capsaicin all together? Wouldn't that be like being a living devil?

Why do we have to experiment on humans to find out which desire is the king?

Most importantly, is it really right to put aphrodisiacs in a base full of men?

It has to be said that this was the first time in their lives that the warriors of Red Right had ever seen such dirty tactics that crossed the line of human depravity.

Of course, while they were impressed, they also became curious about which of the medicines in the package was the best, and even had a heated discussion about it.

As the squad leader, Red Hearts K's lips twitched non-stop as he listened to his soldiers' discussion.

How to put it... he seemed to vaguely see a combat team, regarded as heretical cultivators by the world's special forces teams and known for its insidious and unethical methods, slowly being born...

Chapter 641 Sherlock's Cunning Moves (Part 2)

Have you ever seen hell?

I've met the Red Right Hand team!

As elite warriors selected through rigorous processes, almost every member of the Red Right Hand Squad had seen blood and even served on the battlefield. However, they never imagined that Sherlock's ruthless and despicable tactics would have such consequences.

Ten minutes earlier, after they had completed all the tasks as Sherlock had instructed, chilling screams echoed throughout the stronghold.

It wasn't the kind of screams before death, but the kind of desperate screams of someone who couldn't live but couldn't die, tormented for eternity.

The sound even sent shivers down the spines of the entire Red Right Hand Squad from time to time. Almost subconsciously, they imagined the tragic scene inside the mountain stronghold, and they even seemed to faintly hear screams coming from the ground beneath their feet.

After those long ten minutes, when the entire stronghold fell silent, and when Sherlock led them through the blasted-open gates and into the stronghold, everyone in Red Right Hand finally understood what hell truly meant.

Hell is not the kind of dismembered limbs seen on the battlefield, nor the kind of bloodshed seen in large-scale battles.

The real hell is watching your fellow human beings being tortured into monsters, and even learning for the first time that the human body can survive being twisted into such a state.
