Bruce Banner bit his finger, observing Steve Rogers with a thoughtful expression.

“I need to get some of his blood sample to study,” Bruce Banner said.

"That's not so easy," Wang chuckled softly.

“It’s definitely not easy,” Banner said, his face serious.

Banner was convinced that Steve's muscles couldn't be built through normal exercise; only drug-induced fitness training could produce such a physique.

Steve acted like a homebody. After a simple lunch, he stayed in his apartment, cleaning the little trinkets he had picked up that day, reading a book, watching TV, and finally going out for dinner as the sun was about to set.

Bruce Banner and Wong followed Steve in the mirror dimension, talking behind him about how to attack Steve and get his blood sample.

In Kamar-Taj, nestled in the Himalayas, Bruce Banner painstakingly built himself a research lab, pouring every penny of his savings into it. Analyzing Steve's blood in his newly acquired lab would be no problem.

"Take advantage of the fact that he hasn't had dinner yet," Dr. Banner said to Wang.

“I’ll tie him up, and you can draw his blood.”

The two nodded in tacit agreement, used magic to change their clothes and disguise themselves, covering their faces and deliberately adding perfume to mask their "human scent".

After making thorough preparations, Bruce Banner and Wong jumped out of the mirror dimension and launched an "attack" on Steve as he walked through an alley.

Bruce Banner raised his hands and slammed them against the ground, the invisible force sending Steve flying into a dark alley.

Wang followed closely behind, and red chains emerged from the walls on both sides of the alley, quickly wrapping around Steve's limbs and neck as if they were alive, binding Steve tightly and leaving him in a "torn apart" state.

Steve struggled fiercely, veins bulging on his forehead, and the force he unleashed tore cracks in the walls on both sides of the alley.

Steve felt a sharp pain in his arm and instantly realized what was happening: someone was drawing his blood!

Steve struggled even harder, but the binding force of the scarlet chains also intensified.

Wang noticed the cracks in the wall and then used magic to reinforce the alleyway wall.

Bruce Banner violently drew blood, quickly extracting two vials.

After the blood sample was taken, Bruce Banner gave Wang a look.

Bruce Banner entered the Mirror Dimension first, followed closely by the King. At the same moment the King completely entered the Mirror Dimension, he released the binding magic on Steve.

Steve fell to the dirty ground of the alley, with red marks around his neck, wrists and ankles, the capillaries under his skin ruptured during the struggle.

Steve, panting heavily, got up from the ground and rushed out of the alley, looking to both sides of the street for the suspicious person who had "attacked" him.

Before being bound by the King's magic, Steve was thrown into the air by the shockwave released by Banner, his gaze fixed on the sky, unable to clearly see Bruce Banner and the King.

Looking up at the sky, Steve couldn't even see what was binding him.

Steve raised his arm and glanced at the red marks left on the vein; the spot was a little sore from the needle prick.

Steve was furious, but also felt a sense of relief.

He felt that the other party was only drawing blood, not injecting unknown drugs into his body.

Steve walked dejectedly toward the food trucks on the street in the distance; he still needed to eat dinner.

……

In the blink of an eye, Bruce Banner and Wong had returned to Kamar-Taj. Wong stood in Bruce Banner's laboratory, watching Banner operate the instruments.

Banner put on his glasses and carefully processed Steve Rogers' blood sample.

Banner didn't spare himself either; he drew two vials of blood from his own armpit, which was covered in needle marks, and compared them with Steve's blood sample.

Seeing Bruce Banner so engrossed in his experiment, Wang knew that Banner wouldn't pay attention to anything else for at least three days.

“I’m going to New York. Don’t starve yourself in the lab,” Wang said to Banner.

Banner simply raised his hand and gave an "OK" sign.

Banner was very nervous and didn't say a word, afraid that his breath would affect the experimental data.

Banner conducts experiments alone in his laboratory, and sometimes it's hard to tell whether he's researching science or magic; the process is filled with all sorts of inexplicable and mysterious rituals.

Chapter 59 The Noble Horse

"You didn't come to practice this morning. It's rare to see you slacking off."

"Dad, there's been an unexpected situation."

"Yesterday our school organized an off-campus activity! We visited the American Museum of Natural History in New York. As a result, last night the museum's most prized possession fell on my face while I was sleeping. I had to return it to the museum in the middle of the night..."

Liqun explained to his father that ancient Egyptian artifacts could bring things in museums back to life, but his father did not believe him.

“You must be dreaming. You can’t tell the difference between dreams and reality,” Dad said.

"Dad, why don't you believe me?"

"This is too exaggerated. To bring the dead back to life, to revive the dead—if such a miraculous thing were truly possible, you wouldn't be the one telling me," the old man said, shaking his head.

The two chatted on the rooftop. The old man had finished dinner and was resting with tea, while Liqun did some simple exercises to make up for the morning exercise he had missed.

“Take me to the museum tonight,” the old man said, turning to Liqun.

"Dad, I'll go tell my uncle I'll stay here tonight." Li Qun smiled.

"Perhaps the museum won't come back to life tonight; the Mid-Autumn Festival was last week," Li Qun said.

"You want to buy yourself insurance first? If you miss it this month, there's always next month," the old man said to Liqun.

"Father, is there anyone you want to resurrect?" Li Qun asked.

"There is no one who wants to be resurrected."

"I don't have many regrets in my life," Dad replied.

"By the way, you didn't tell anyone else about this, did you?" Dad suddenly asked.

“No one else would believe me if I told them; they would think I have mental problems,” Li Qun replied.

"Liqun, can you fall asleep earlier? Set an alarm for midnight and catch up on some sleep," Dad said.

“I can give it a try.”

The pawnshop closes at 7 p.m., and my father's shop never needs to operate at night.

I'll go to bed at 9 PM tonight and wake up at midnight.

Soon after Dad lay down, he began snoring, falling asleep even faster than Liqun. Liqun, falling asleep a little later, quickly entered a deep sleep.

When the alarm clock rang at midnight, Dad was woken up, while Liqun was still fast asleep.

The old man forcefully woke Liqun up; Liqun's eyes were glazed over.

"Walk."

Liqun and his father went up to the rooftop, where Liqun demonstrated the pillar-riding technique to his father for the first time.

Before, the Golden Cudgel was just an iron rod that only he could lift in his father's hands; now, in Liqun's hands, the Golden Cudgel can change its length, size, and thickness, and can even fly.

The old man stood on the golden cudgel with his hands behind his back, and flew with Li Qun towards the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan.

They landed in Central Park again, and using the trees and bushes as cover, they disembarked from the golden cudgel. Within ten minutes, Li Qun and his father arrived at the entrance of the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

"The lights inside are on."

Li Qun tried pushing the glass door of the museum; it wasn't locked. Li Qun looked back at his father, and the two walked into the museum one after the other.

"The museum is open and we're not afraid of being robbed."

The old man walked into the museum and looked around. He had never been to the American Museum of Natural History in New York before.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton in the entrance hall was gone again, and Li Qun realized that it had been resurrected again tonight.

"Dad, let's go check out the security room."

"I'll listen to you."

Walking behind Li Qun, the old man's expression was a little strange.

My once hunched back straightened as I entered the museum, my breathing became longer and more rhythmic, my legs felt lighter, my energy circulated smoothly throughout my body, and my eyes shone brightly.

Li Qun knocked on the door of the museum's security room, but there was no response. He opened the door, and seeing the messy items inside, he hurriedly left.

“There’s nobody here,” Li Qun said.

“The security guards should be patrolling at this time, not resting in the security room,” the old man said.

"Dad, I'll take you to the Temple of Akamanra to see its most prized possessions."

"Okay."

To reach the Ancient Egyptian Pavilion where the Temple of Achamanra is located, you will need to pass through the Vertebrate Origins Pavilion and the Mammal Pavilion along the way.

Liqun showed his father the fascinating ancestors of vertebrates; a herd of mammoths walked by in the corridor, and Liqun hurriedly pulled his father aside; his father picked up an adorable lion cub at the entrance of the African pavilion, which attracted an attack from the lioness; a resurrected giant panda was munching on resurrected bamboo in a glass display case, and Liqun and his father stood in front of the display case for a long time...

It took Li Qun and his father more than an hour to reach the ancient Egyptian exhibition hall. In front of the Temple of Akamanra, the jackal guards on both sides of the temple recognized Li Qun and bowed to welcome him.

The temple was quiet until Li Qun walked up to the Pharaoh's coffin and knocked on the coffin lid, at which point a sound was heard.

Someone knocked on his own coffin lid, and Akamara inside the coffin immediately responded fiercely, banging on it forcefully from within.

"Akamanla, I'm here again."

"I know you've come! Let me out! You didn't come to tell me before you left yesterday, I thought you weren't coming." Akamanra's voice pierced through the coffin.

Li Qun unlocked the coffin, released Akamanra, and untied the knot he had tied the day before, freeing Akamanra's head from the mummy bandages.

"Hoo... the air of the world!" Akamara took a deep breath, turned to look at Li Qun, and saw her father standing behind him.

"Huh, you brought a stranger?"

Akamara stopped smiling and adopted the posture of a pharaoh in front of his father.

“This is my master, Jack.”

“Hello, Master Jack,” Akamara greeted.

"Your scent is somewhat familiar," the old man said.

"What's that familiar smell?" Akamara asked curiously.

“It tastes like Thirteen Spices,” the old man replied.

"What is Thirteen Spices?" Akamara continued to ask.
