Peter felt his stomach was extremely uncomfortable with the stimulation from the Chinese herbal soup; his stomach seemed to be spasming repeatedly.

Gwen emerged from behind Li Qun; today, Gwen refreshed outside the teaching building.

“Peter, how are you feeling? Has Li Qun taken you to see the doctor properly?” Gwen asked.

"It's very thoughtful. My dad is an old doctor, and he had Li Qun get some herbs to brew a pot of magic potion to cure my illness."

Peter answered, shaking the thermos in his hand at Gwen.

"Potion?"

“Its taste is so unique that once you’ve tasted it, you’re afraid to get sick again,” Li Qun told Gwen.

"Open it and let me see."

“Gwen, you should try some too,” Peter said with a smile.

Gwen twisted open the lid, and a spicy smell rushed out from the thermos and into her nostrils.

Gwen almost threw the thermos away.

“WTF!” Gwen exclaimed in surprise.

"It really is a magic potion."

“This is just a common cold medicine; it would be much more serious for other illnesses,” Li Qun said to Gwen.

"Aren't there any sweet potions?" Gwen asked.

"My dad once made me a pot of medicinal soup that looked like meat broth, so tempting it could kill you. It smelled incredibly rich and meaty, but when you took a sip, the soup tasted absolutely bitter."

"Isn't that too weird?" Peter tried hard to imagine the meaty-smelling medicinal soup that Li Qun had described.

"My father put a piece of ham into the medicine soup and cooked it together. It was a specialty ham from Aurora, as famous as Spanish ham."

"Ham? What ham? I happen to have a really good Spanish ham at home. Want to come over and try it this weekend? It tastes indescribable when eaten with cantaloupe." Harry kissed his lips and smiled at Peter and the other two, revealing a set of bright, even white teeth.

"We're talking about medicine."

“Peter is doing well; he looks like he’ll be fully recovered in just a few days,” Gwen told Harry.

"So it was about the medicine."

“Peter, don’t worry, I also brought you some medicine, you have to hide it well.”

Harry stealthily pulled a small box of medicine from his jacket pocket and quickly stuffed it into Peter's hand.

"What medicine?"

Peter covered it with both hands and carefully picked it up to examine it.

Peter's first thought was that it was some kind of illegal drug, but after seeing the name of the drug on the packaging, the box of medicine was no different from illegal drugs.

Harry gave him a box of amoxicillin, an anti-inflammatory drug.

"What is it?" Li Qun asked Peter, and Gwen also became nervous.

“It’s amoxicillin,” Peter replied quietly.

"Oh, so that's what it is."

“Peter, you don’t need it now. You can only use it if you start to have a fever and develop a respiratory infection in a few days.”

“The common cold is a viral cold, and anti-inflammatory drugs that fight bacteria don’t work very well. This is a very common medication misconception,” Li Qun told Peter.

"Liqun, how do you know so much about medicine?" Harry asked in surprise.

"Isn't this just common medical knowledge?"

As Li Qun spoke, he glanced at Harry, Peter, and Gwen's reactions. Judging from their expressions, what Li Qun called "medical common sense" was hardly common sense to them.

“My mother is a doctor,” Li Qun said calmly.

"That's right."

Harry, Peter, and Gwen exchanged glances, their eyes filled with an expression of "that makes sense."

“Leon, have you considered becoming a doctor?” Harry asked.

“No, I want Peter to be the boss with me. Being a doctor is just asking for trouble. If my mother were alive, she would never agree to me following in her footsteps and becoming a doctor,” Li Qun said earnestly.

Peter knew the amoxicillin wouldn't help his cold and intended to return it to Harry, but Harry refused. He'd stolen it from his own medicine cabinet, and since he'd already taken it, he couldn't let his theft go unpunished.

Besides, it's just a box of anti-inflammatory drugs, which is insignificant to Osborn Industries, whose own pharmaceuticals are manufactured by Osborn itself.

"Thank you, Harry."

"It's fine."

The topic of medicine was over, and Harry turned the conversation to the high school football league, specifically the Midtown High School team's victory over the Vision Private High School team.

Harry was very happy. He knew several peers from Vision School, who were the children of several Osborne board members. The fact that his team had won against the opposing team made Harry feel very proud.

After being rejected by the private high school in New Jersey, Harry was turned away from all other private schools, effectively excluding him from the elite circles. Norman Osborn wasn't the only one annoyed; Harry also harbored resentment towards several of Osborn's board members.

As Fleiss entered the school, he was immediately greeted with cheers like a hero from his classmates. He had arrived at school that morning in a convertible sports car, which his father had specially rented to take him to school.

Flash won the game-winning point for his school, transforming him from a rising star into a star of today!!

Chapter 76 Nobody Dares to Refuse Me, Thompson

Flash Thompson was carried into the classroom by his classmates, and he almost bumped into the classroom door frame.

“Look at him,” Harry said, gazing enviously at Frye.

"Which school is it next week?" Li Qun asked.

“Lyman High School, also a high school in New York,” Peter replied.

"The week after next, they will fly to California to play against Whitney High School."

Peter pulled out a high school football league schedule and handed it to Li Qun.

Zhongcheng High School only had one home game this season, which was this week, and they almost lost. Thinking about the away game, Liqun couldn't help but worry about the school team.

Compared to other high school football teams, Midtown High School's football team is not very strong; it's only of average quality.

Flash's performance seems to have given the school a glimmer of hope. What if? Is the high school with the most nerdy students in all of New York City about to produce a football superstar?!

After the lively atmosphere belonging to Flamboyant moved into the classroom, Li Qun and the others also went to the classroom for their first lesson.

"Hey……"

Li Qun sensed someone behind him.

"Master Lyon."

Li Qun turned around and saw the black guy he had helped last semester. Li Qun still remembered his name: Red Hansen.

"We can talk about it during lunchtime. Class is about to start," Li Qun said to Reid, looking down at him.

"This... I've figured it out. Does what happened last semester still count?" Reid nervously handed the draft paper in his hand to Li Qun.

Li Qun held it in his hand and quickly scanned it with his eyes.

If it were last semester, he would have needed to take some time to seriously discuss Red's solution process with Peter, but the current Liqun doesn't need to anymore; he has enough confidence and ability to judge whether Red is right or wrong.

“You’ve solved it. The process and the answer are both correct.” Li Qun handed the draft paper back to Little Black Brother Red.

"Master Leon, will you still teach me kung fu?"

Li Qun glanced back; Gwen and Peter were already far away.

"Yes, come find me at noon and I'll talk to you about it."

"Where is your classroom? I need to get to my classroom."

“Right here,” Reed pointed to the side.

"Row."

Li Qun dashed out and caught up with Peter and Gwen.

"I thought you were a little late. What did that person want with you?" Gwen asked Li Qun, her walking speed not slowing down at all. The vice principal had forbidden everyone from running in the school building corridors.

“It happened last semester…” Li Qun briefly recounted to Gwen what had happened between him and Reid.

Peter also remarked that it had taken Reed several months to solve the problem he had assigned.

“There are huge differences between people,” Gwen said.

“Perhaps he had already figured it out, but he just couldn’t get over that hurdle in his own heart,” Li Qun said.

……

……

At lunchtime, Reed was queuing up with his tray to buy lunch. When it was finally his turn, he excitedly carried his tray of food toward Li Qun, who was always sitting in the corner of the restaurant. He stopped when he saw Frye, who was also heading toward Li Qun's table.

"Hey Peter, Leon, can you guess what I'm going to say to you?" Frazier sat down at a table on the other side of the aisle and asked Peter and Li Qun at the opposite table.

“There’s going to be a fantastic party this weekend. Guess who didn’t get invited?” Li Qun said to Flash.

“This is it!” Flashy laughed and snapped his fingers.

"Lyon, you are of course invited!"

Flashy stretched out his hands and pointed at Lillian, Peter, Harry, and Gwen with the index fingers of both hands.

"The party is on Saturday. You're welcome to come to my house for the party."

Frye wasn't worried at all that Li Qun and Peter would refuse the party. He was a hero at school, and who would dare to refuse his invitation at this time?

No one dared to refuse.

Refusing him, Flash, is disrespecting Flash and everyone at Midtown High School.

“We will go,” Harry said.

"expect!"

"Remember to make plenty of dumplings for the party, I especially love them." Fraser deliberately pointed to Liqun.

"Flash, how many people did you invite?" Li Qun asked.

“There are cheerleaders, the entire rugby team, and the basketball team…” Flash counted on his fingers, there were dozens of people.
