America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

"Kiss the princess?!" Peter was stunned. It was the first time he had ever heard Harry talk about what their cast was going to do.
In Liz's script, there is a scene where the female lead desperately seeks a kiss from the male lead, but because of their different upbringing and cultural backgrounds, the male lead keeps avoiding the topic.
On stage, Liz pretends to kiss Peter, who resists fiercely. This is the part that elicits the loudest laughter from the audience.
Chapter 124 The Beginning of Deep Learning in Artificial Intelligence
In the morning, the postman stuffed the envelopes into the mailbox and then returned to his car. Otto Octavius, wearing a bathrobe, opened the door, walked quickly to the mailbox, and took out all the letters, big and small, from it with one hand.
Good morning, sir.
"Good morning."
After exchanging a few pleasantries with the postman, Dr. Otto hurriedly returned to the house and sat down at the dining table to open the envelopes one by one.
"The bill, the bill..."
"Found them, they replied to me."
"What did the letter say?" Rossi asked Dr. Otto.
“Well… they say that although I have fallen in the field of nuclear physics, I am still an unyielding giant in the field of computer artificial intelligence.” Dr. Otto pushed up his glasses.
"The paper has been published. Let's go out for dinner tonight."
“That’s wonderful!” Dr. Otto’s wife, Rosie, gave him a hug.
Dr. Otto initially conceived the idea of researching artificial intelligence to assist him in conducting nuclear physics experiments. The human body is too fragile, and in the controlled nuclear fusion experimental environment he envisioned, the experimental process could only be controlled by machines.
On the other hand, throughout Otto's research career, he faced constant criticism, which fostered a deep distrust of other scientists. He firmly believed that only he could conduct his experiments, and that no one else could comprehend his intellect. If others could understand his wisdom, how could he have been constantly questioned?
Now, Dr. Otto has handed over his research on artificial intelligence.
Otto wanted to salvage something; he didn't want his former students to be ashamed of him.
After breakfast, Otto drove Rosie to school. He arrived at his science classroom with great enthusiasm and began writing on the blackboard.
He planned not to teach the students the textbook content in today's class. Instead, he wanted to teach them knowledge that could determine their future destiny. By mastering the theory of artificial intelligence technology, the next twenty years would belong to his students, Otto Octavius.
Li Qun, Peter, and Gwen entered the classroom with their textbooks. They carefully pulled out their chairs and sat down, not daring to attract the attention of Dr. Otto, who was writing furiously on the podium.
Dr. Otto turned around abruptly and immediately fixed his gaze on Li Qun and Peter.
"Leon, Peter, you two sit in the front row," Dr. Otto called out.
Peter's expression froze instantly, and Li Qun also tensed up.
Gwen shrugged; Dr. Otto hadn't called her name.
Li Qun and Peter, carrying their textbooks, went to the first row.
Li Qun frowned as he looked at the notes Dr. Otto had written on the blackboard, which was almost completely filled.
"Where do we begin? I don't quite understand this, Liqun." Peter was also looking up at the blackboard, studying what Dr. Otto had written.
"This is a complex function that runs on a computer."
“Look there, I know this, it’s the basic neural computing unit of a network,” Li Qun pointed to Peter.
"Huh?" Peter frowned.
The school bell rang, and Dr. Otto turned around, scanned the classroom, and quickly counted the number of students.
“I have some very good news to share with you, my students.”
"My paper will be published in a scientific journal in mid-April. It discusses how computer artificial intelligence can achieve deep learning capabilities."
"Recall what you've learned about biology: how does the human brain think?"
"Billions of brain cells are connected together, and each neuron gives a response..."
"Computers can also simulate the human brain's thought process, and I've written down the principle behind this imitation of human thought processes here!!"
Dr. Otto banged on the blackboard.
Dr. Otto was lecturing with spittle flying everywhere, and Li Qun and Peter, sitting in the front row, were suffering terribly. Neither of them dared to wipe the spittle off their faces, for fear of interrupting Dr. Otto's passionate speech.
Li Qun and Peter were quickly taking notes in their notebooks, and Otto watched them with satisfaction.
Dr. Otto looked at the other students, and wasn't angry at most of the dull ones.
There always has to be someone to highlight the genius.
"Is there anything you two don't understand?" Otto asked, standing in front of Li Qun and Peter's desks.
“The human brain has about 100 billion biological neurons. If we were to simulate it using a computer, the hardware required would be enormous, given current technology,” Li Qun said.
“Haven’t you seen the sci-fi movie ‘I’m Back’? My idea can be compared to the prototype of the artificial intelligence Skynet in the movie,” Dr. Otto said.
"What do you think artificial intelligence is like? Hmm?" Dr. Otto looked at Li Qun.
"I believe that in the future, artificial intelligence should be able to help everyone live a better life. Everyone can have a convenient AI assistant that can help analyze household expenses, analyze hospital bills, and act as a family doctor when they are sick," Li Qun said.
“That sounds wonderful, but it’s impossible,” Dr. Otto said.
“Parker, what are your thoughts?” Dr. Otto called on Peter again.
"Both can exist."
“Could they be the same artificial intelligence? Something like God, responding to prayers?” Peter said.
"You're a genius, Peter Parker."
At that moment, Dr. Otto seemed to be inspired and looked at Peter meaningfully.
When the class ended, Li Qun and Peter walked out of the classroom with lingering fear, while Gwen looked very happy.
“Gwen, what did you learn in this lesson?” Peter asked.
“I’ve learned something! I want to start researching artificial intelligence now. Let’s create an AI God!” Gwen said.
Li Qun shook his head.
"What's wrong? You always acted like you knew everything in class." Gwen looked at Li Qun.
“This is a very expensive project, especially at a time when hardware is not yet advanced,” Li Qun said.
"What kind of hardware?" Gwen asked.
"Of course it's computer-based."
“If we insist on doing it now, the only thing we can do is create an artificially disabled person,” Li Qun said.
“Artificial stupidity… Liqun, you’ve coined a new term!” Gwen burst into laughter.
"How about this, we'll make an artificial stupid person!"
“Didn’t you say you wanted to be the God of artificial intelligence?” Peter looked at Gwen.
“Artificial intelligence disability…” Li Qun pondered.
If things continue as they are, will Dr. Otto turn into Doctor Octopus with four mechanical tentacles? Dr. Otto became a villain because he was controlled by his own stupid mechanical tentacles.
“Does anyone want to come with me to my driving test this weekend?” Gwen asked Liqun and Peter.
"Something's up," Li Qun said.
“I have things to do too,” Peter said.
"That's it."
Chapter 125 Digital Life and Magical Life
Bruce Banner flipped through Li Qun's class notes, which contained a complete record of Dr. Otto's lecture.
Dr. Otto's research on artificial intelligence aroused Bruce Banner's great interest.
After putting down Li Qun's class notes, Dr. Banner began writing on draft paper, one sheet after another, only pausing occasionally to adjust his glasses.
In the study of the New York Holy See, there is a long wooden table, about the size of the long table where lords dine in medieval European castles, with draft paper spread from one end of the table to the other.
Bruce Banner himself was an expert in the field of computers, and Dr. Otto gave Banner a completely new inspiration.
"This isn't right."
Bruce Banner looked down at the manuscript papers spread across the long table, picked up one of them, crumpled it into a ball, and threw it on the ground. He then picked up a pen and began to write on a blank sheet of paper, spreading the newly written content across the blank space on the long table.
Dr. Banner was playing a board game that captivated him completely; he was incredibly excited and continued pacing around the long table, pondering the problem, even after Li Qun went home to sleep.
Early in the morning, just as Li Qun got dressed and got out of bed, Bruce Banner gently pushed open Li Qun's wardrobe door and reached into the wardrobe to hand him a letter.
"Could you please pass this letter on to Dr. Otto?"
Bruce Banner used his other hand to push the clothes in the closet aside so that he could see the Liqun outside the closet.
"Dr. Green...is that your pen name, Dr. Banner?"
“It was common to have pen pals in our time,” Dr. Banner told Li Qun.
“How should I put it? Dr. Otto must have a lot of questions for me,” Li Qun asked Dr. Banner.
“I subtly revealed my identity in the letter, and Dr. Otto, if he’s not stupid, will know who wants to be his pen pal,” Dr. Banner said.
"This envelope is really thick." Li Qun took the letter.
“Next time I’ll use a larger envelope,” Dr. Banner said.
Li Qun took Bruce Banner's letter to school and, with a mix of trepidation and excitement, handed it to Otto Octavius after class.
"Dr. Green?"
“He is my distant cousin, and he is also very knowledgeable in the field of computer science. He heard that you are my science teacher, so he wrote this letter overnight and asked me to pass it on to you,” Li Qun explained.
"Oh...did your distant cousin see my paper in advance?"
“Okay, I’ll look into it when I get home,” Dr. Otto said with a smile to Li Qun.
"Dr. Otto, you must read this, don't forget."
"of course."
Li Qun walked out of the classroom, glancing back every few steps, afraid that Dr. Otto would turn around and throw Dr. Banner's letter into the trash can.
