America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

Liqun bought several kinds of chili peppers, and in the end, they all packed them into the same brown paper bag.
“I think we should go back to the car and put our things down,” Li Qun said.
“I can’t carry you much anymore,” Gwen said.
"Do you need my help?" Harry hadn't bought anything and his hands were empty.
“Just leave things as they are,” Gwen told Harry.
“Harry, you brought your medicine box with you, right?” Li Qun asked.
“Of course.” Harry patted his chest lightly.
Li Qun was worried about Harry.
If Harry were to walk past a stall displaying substances he is allergic to, the mere smell might trigger an allergic reaction in his body.
“Let’s go back,” Peter said.
Gwen arrived today in her little van, so the group could stock up on groceries at the farmers market without any worries.
Vegetables at farmers' markets are generally more expensive than those in supermarkets, but they are also safer and of better quality. You don't have to worry about the company giving you random stuff.
"It looks like it's raining?"
Harry touched his face; water droplets had landed on it.
“It’s raining.” Peter looked up.
Li Qun and Gwen also looked up at the sky, where a light drizzle was falling from the overcast sky.
"When I left home, my dad said it would rain heavily today, but I didn't expect it to start so soon," Li Qun said casually.
"Is it really going to rain heavily?" Gwen seemed very excited.
"I need to buy something to take back with me!" Harry said anxiously.
"Where were you just now?" Gwen asked Harry.
"I'd like to familiarize myself with things first; there are a lot of things here I don't know," Harry said, frustrated.
“Harry, my suggestion is to buy tomatoes. Tomatoes are the best buy,” Li Qun said.
“Liqun loves tomatoes,” Peter joked.
"Peter, did you know that eating tomatoes can help improve sleep quality? Sleeping is the time when a person feels truly happy each day."
“I agree. I’ll go buy some tomatoes. You guys go ahead, I’ll be right back,” Harry said.
It started to rain, and none of the four of them brought an umbrella when they went out.
Harry jogged to the car and knocked on the door. Li Qun opened the door for Harry, and Harry jumped into the car.
"Are we still going to the movies?" Harry asked, sitting in the car and looking out at the rain.
“It has to rain to go,” Gwen said.
"Don't fall asleep in the movie theater," Li Qun said to Gwen, who smiled back at him.
Chapter 259 Coffee and Pizza
The movie ended, and the rain outside the cinema had stopped, leaving the ground wet.
“Great, we’re not stuck here in the rain,” Harry said happily.
"Ah."
"It's time to discuss that question again: what should we eat?" Li Qun asked Harry and Peter.
"Yes, what do you want to eat?" Gwen asked.
The four people looked at each other, unable to come up with an answer.
"How about we go get some pizza?" Li Qun suggested.
"Pizza?" Harry looked at Li Qun with a puzzled expression.
“Okay.” Gwen nodded.
“It’s not that guy’s pizzeria, is it?” Peter asked.
"Miyagi Pizza releases a new product every month. I wonder what kind of pizza they'll make in December," Li Qun said with a smile.
“I already know the answer to that question,” Peter said.
"What is it?" Gwen asked curiously.
“Peter, don’t say anything yet, let us guess first,” Li Qun said.
The four of them got into the car and started guessing what new pizza flavors Miyagi Pizza would be offering this month.
"Miso pizza?" Harry guessed.
Peter nodded vigorously; Harry had guessed it.
"What does miso taste like?" Harry asked.
“I don’t know either,” Gwen said.
"I heard it smells like fermented beans." Li Qun was driving when he saw the sign for Miyagi Pizza.
Li Qun parked the car, and the four of them went into the Miyagi Pizza shop.
"Bean sprout miso pizza?"
Li Qun looked up at the illuminated menu and thought to himself how amazing the combination was.
There were still empty seats in the pizza shop, so Li Qun and his three friends took up one of the tables.
"Goro isn't here. What would you like to eat?" Goro's master, Daniel, asked as he walked to the dining table.
“A 12-inch bean sprout miso pizza,” Li Qun said.
“Okay, would you like something to drink? I recommend an espresso,” said Chef Daniel.
“Now that we drink espresso, we won’t need to sleep at night,” Peter said.
“When I was your age, nighttime was the time for fun, so why would I need to sleep?” Daniel said with a smile.
“We are good kids of the new world,” Li Qun said to Daniel with a smile.
"Lemon sparkling water, is that alright?" Master Daniel asked.
“I’d like a glass of hot milk,” Gwen said.
"Ok."
Gwen yawned; she looked sleepy.
"Is twelve inches enough for us?" Gwen asked.
"Order more if you're still hungry," Peter said.
“Let’s see what other amazing pizza combinations they have.” Harry turned to the side, studying the menu in the lightbox on the wall.
"Potato wedge pizza?"
"Onion ring pizza?"
"Cod pizza?"
"It feels like they've turned their unsold inventory into pizzas," Liqun complained.
“Aren’t you curious about what it tastes like?” Harry asked.
“No.” Peter shook his head.
"Peter, have you eaten here many times?" Li Qun asked Peter curiously, leaning on the table.
“Philip orders pizza every day,” Peter explained.
“Mary Jane’s father, okay.” Harry looked at Peter with sympathy.
“Christmas is coming soon, Mary Jane will probably send back a lot of gifts like she did for Thanksgiving, right?” Li Qun asked Peter.
“Maybe,” Peter said.
"What Christmas presents do you want?" Gwen asked.
“I don’t want anything,” Li Qun said.
"Really? Then I'll just prepare something casually." Gwen looked at Li Qun.
"it is good."
“I don’t want anything,” Peter said.
"Ok."
“I wonder what kind of Christmas presents girls would expect,” Harry said to Gwen.
"cosmetic."
"perfume."
Li Qun and Peter spoke to Harry together.
"Gwen, would you like cosmetics and perfumes?"
“Of course.” Gwen nodded.
"How do I choose cosmetics and perfumes?" Harry asked.
"Buy the expensive one," Li Qun said.
"Expensive?"
"In short, you shouldn't buy these two things cheaply."
"I've got it."
The pizza and drinks were served, but the bean sprout miso pizza was boring for Li Qun, with nothing memorable about it.
"What kind of vegetable is this?" Harry asked, picking a bean sprout out of the pizza.
“Sprouted beans are called bean sprouts, and their nutritional value is questionable,” Li Qun replied casually.
