America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

At night, Peter heard Uncle Ben and Aunt May fall asleep, so he opened the window and went out for a night stroll once again.
Li Qun and Wade sat in front of the television. Peter's nighttime outings were almost always scheduled, making it feel like they were watching Peter's midnight live broadcast on time.
“See? I told you, eating something good can quickly lift a person’s spirits,” Dr. Banner said.
“Peter is a secret carnivore; his favorite dishes are all meat,” Li Qun said.
“Is that right? He went out like a gymnast.” Wade pointed to the television; Peter was wearing a spider silk bodysuit tonight.
“What I’m more concerned about is whether the changing seasons will affect Peter’s spider superpowers,” Dr. Banner said.
"Will the cold weather weaken Peter's superpowers?" Wade asked.
"Peter's superpowers were triggered by spiders, and his abilities are highly similar to those of spiders. Spiders are cold-blooded animals, and when they enter the cold winter, their physiological functions are greatly reduced, and they will use various strategies to survive the winter."
“Peter is still human, and the winter climate change may not have much impact on Peter’s abilities,” Li Qun said.
"Look, Peter has gone into the sewer."
What is Peter doing?
Peter is exploring New York's complex underground spaces, searching for a better place for the homeless in the park to spend the winter.
The spider silk bodysuit clinging to his skin allowed Peter to unleash his superhuman senses to the fullest, enabling him to clearly perceive changes in airflow, humidity, and temperature in his surroundings.
Peter used his superhuman senses to discern which parts of New York's underground spaces were suitable for long-term living and which were unsuitable.
There is the sound of breathing.
Peter pressed himself against the wall silently and discovered that many people also lived in the underground spaces of New York.
Those living underground marked their living areas like gangs marking their territory.
The people living underground seemed more aggressive; under the dim light, Peter observed that they all carried weapons.
“Dr. Banner, could you move the camera a little closer? I think I’ve seen these symbols before,” Wade said to Dr. Banner in front of the television.
What kind of mark is this?
Dr. Banner used magic to freeze the image on the sign next to the New York Underground Tent.
“It’s the Bowery gang…” Wade said.
"The Bowery Gang? And their connection to Bowery Street?" Dr. Banner asked.
"The membership is related to Bowery Street, and most of them are homeless people, street vendors, dockworkers and the like."
"So it's the Beggars' Sect." Li Qun quickly understood the Bowery Gang.
“They’re at odds with the High Table. The Bowery Gang was originally a group of assassins who rebelled against the High Table, and now they’re also sheltering those who have defected from the High Table,” Wade said.
“I have never had any contact with them; I have only heard of their existence.”
On the magical television screen, Peter carefully retreated from the Bourgeois gang's territory.
In New York's underground spaces, most of the prime locations are occupied by the Bowery gang.
Peter Parker emerged from the New York sewers in disappointment.
Chapter 266, the most difficult part
"The final exams are next week. As usual, should we prepare together this weekend?" Li Qun asked.
"It is very necessary."
“Come to my house, I have plenty of space,” Harry said.
“Can’t we use the clubroom?” Stephanie asked.
Li Qun, Harry, and Gwen all shook their heads.
“The problem is that the classrooms are in the school, but food delivery can’t be made to the clubrooms by phone,” Gwen said.
“If you’re tired from studying, you can lie down and sleep at home, but the clubroom doesn’t have that option,” Harry said.
"Don't you feel pressured on your way to school?" Li Qun asked.
Peter nodded, still looking distracted.
“Peter,” Harry called out.
"what happened?"
“This is the first time I’m worried about your final exam results. Did Mary Jane call you? What did she say that’s been keeping you on your toes these past few days?” Harry asked.
“No, it has nothing to do with Mary Jane,” Peter said.
“What’s wrong?” Harry asked.
“You only look a little better at lunchtime; you don’t seem to have any energy at other times.”
“Maybe it’s because it’s winter, but I don’t really feel like moving,” Peter replied.
"Really?" Harry raised an eyebrow.
"it is true."
“Harry, you don’t need to worry about Peter’s final exam results. Unless he doesn’t answer the questions or forgets to write his name, it’s impossible for him to fail,” Li Qun said.
"That's what I'm worried about. What if Peter falls asleep during the exam?"
“Look, Peter has dark circles under his eyes,” Harry said, looking at Peter.
"Dark circles under my eyes, me?"
“Peter, I have a mirror. Take a look at yourself.” Stephanie took a small makeup mirror out of her bag and handed it to Peter.
"I will make sure to get some rest."
Peter saw his dark circles under his eyes in Stephanie's small vanity mirror.
He hasn't slept for the past few nights.
He couldn't pinpoint the problem; it seemed like everything was a problem. The harder he tried, the stronger his sense of frustration became.
“I’d like to give you your Christmas presents early this weekend,” Li Qun said.
“Could we send something more ordinary? Not like last year,” Gwen said.
"What was it like last year?" Stephanie asked curiously.
“I forgot to tell you, Stephanie, Li Qun is a descendant of the Emperor of Aurora. His surname is Liu, and historically, the dynasty ruled by his family was one of the most powerful dynasties in Aurora history.” Gwen introduced him to Stephanie earnestly, secretly observing Stephanie’s reaction.
"Should I kneel down and bow?"
Stephanie hesitated as she looked at Li Qun. She had long sensed that Li Qun was somewhat different from the other students at the school.
"Stephanie, it's a joke, don't take it seriously."
“Yes, Stephanie, I’ll show you this weekend the gift Liqun gave me last year; it’s an extravagant piece of porcelain,” Harry said.
“I didn’t give porcelain as a Christmas gift last year,” Li Qun said.
“I know the porcelain was a Thanksgiving gift, and the tea was a Christmas gift.”
“Stephanie, you can’t imagine what real tea tastes like. The tea we usually drink is made from the scraps of tea leaves,” Harry continued.
"Wow!" Stephanie covered her mouth in surprise, looking at Li Qun as if she were getting to know Li Qun all over again.
“Stephanie, have you met Li Qun’s cousin? Do you remember what he looks like?” Gwen asked Stephanie.
“I remember that Li Qun’s cousin was very tall and strong, and didn’t look like a person from Aurora; he looked more like a Mongolian.”
Stephanie's answer left Li Qun speechless.
Shuangxi was tall and strong, and he had absolutely pure Han Chinese blood.
“If you’ve watched the Aurora TV series, you’ll understand. In ancient times, if Li Qun became emperor, his cousin Shuangxi would be the empire’s most powerful general,” Gwen continued to Stephanie.
“Gwen, you should write a movie script and send it to Hollywood. Peter happens to have connections and channels for collecting scripts,” Li Qun complained.
“It’s Uncle Philip’s connections and resources,” Peter quickly said.
“Mary Jane’s father…”
Did he ask you to drink with him?
"He won't be spending Christmas alone, will he? That's so pitiful," Harry asked Peter.
“Just like Thanksgiving, Uncle Ben and Aunt May have invited him to spend Christmas with us. We won’t leave him alone,” Peter replied.
"Is Mary Jane still at her aunt's for Christmas? This year's Christmas holiday is one day longer than last year," Harry asked with concern.
"I do not know."
"Call Mary Jane and ask her."
“No, I refuse to make that call,” Peter said.
“I’ll bring my Christmas presents over this weekend too,” Gwen said.
"You're not going to prepare anything very expensive, are you?" Stephanie said, glancing at Li Qun and Harry.
“No, it’s just a normal gift,” Harry said.
"That's good."
……
……
“Peter will be very happy to receive the Christmas gift you sent him, Dr. Banner.”
“Peter is very similar to me, yet very different from me.”
Bruce Banner skillfully wrapped the gift paper he intended to give to Peter with scissors.
“When I used to work part-time, I would wrap countless gifts for customers every day. Sometimes I even dreamed about wrapping gifts for people,” Dr. Banner said.
“I’ve seen these kinds of job ads in the newspaper; they’re considered part-time jobs with relatively good short-term pay,” Wade said.
"I've also prepared a Christmas present for Peter."
