America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

While everyone else was relaxing and preparing for a joyful Christmas, Liqun was busy.
Huanghelou Chinese Restaurant opened reservations for two days during the final exam week for Christmas, allowing diners to enjoy dishes not usually available on the menu.
Li Qun inadvertently noticed that Walter White's name appeared on the reservation list.
Walter White and his family would come to the restaurant for Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Li Qun thought about it. He had witnessed Aunt Skylar's cooking skills before. Uncle Walter's arrangement must have taken Aunt Skylar's cooking skills into account, hoping to make Christmas more enjoyable.
Liqun started helping out during the day on Saturday, and after 9 p.m., she had a rare opportunity to have dinner with her uncle and aunt.
Only during holidays can the family have dinner together like this, and Liqun ate three bowls of rice.
After dinner, Li Qun was resting in her room. While she was lying in bed, Peter called her.
Peter spent the whole day reading in his room; he kept reading the books that Dr. Banner had given him.
When I called Liqun during the day, he was always busy and had no time to answer my questions about the book.
The Taoist philosophies of Lao Tzu and Zhuangzi greatly impacted Peter's worldview, and he had many thoughts he wanted to share with Li Qun.
After chatting with Peter for over an hour, Li Qun hung up the phone, walked through the wardrobe, and went to the Holy of Holies.
"Dr. Banner, your method worked."
"is it?"
“Peter and I talked a lot, and the word I used most often to him was ‘let nature take its course,’” Li Qun told Dr. Banner.
"Does Peter understand what 'nature' is?" Dr. Banner asked.
"good."
What does "it's alright" mean?
“It’s not much different from my understanding of ‘nature’,” Li Qun replied.
“Dr. Banner, I don’t know what your understanding of ‘nature’ is.”
“Very good,” Dr. Banner said.
What does "very good" mean?
"It means good."
Dr. Banner waved at the television, and the scene of Peter's room appeared on the screen.
After chatting with Li Qun on the phone, Peter lay in bed thinking. He seemed to have no intention of going out to be an "urban savage" anymore.
Peter swings around on a spider web in the steel jungle of New York. His father says Peter is like a Tarzan living in New York. Wade follows his father's train of thought and gives Peter the nickname "Urban Savage".
Both Dr. Banner and Wade felt that the nickname "Urban Savage" was very fitting for Peter's nocturnal wanderings.
When they were children, Tarzan movies and TV shows were their favorites, and the series was remade several times. Now, children's television still broadcasts Tarzan animated films, but they can no longer enjoy them as they did when they were kids.
Wade wanted to find a Tarzan movie videotape for Peter as a Christmas gift, but he couldn't find any. In the end, he could only give Peter a gorilla doll as a Christmas present.
Peter was very puzzled when he received the gorilla doll, and he couldn't understand what mysterious connection he, the gorilla, and Christmas had.
On the television, Peter suddenly jumped out of bed, took out the Spider-Man suit, put it on, put on the hood, and began his nighttime stroll again.
“Peter is still worried about the homeless,” Li Qun said.
"If he just ignores everything, my plan will actually fail."
"His own subjective actions are also part of 'nature'."
"Did Dad and Wade come over today?" Li Qun asked.
"Dad gave himself a holiday, and he gave Wade a holiday too, and then the two of them went somewhere to celebrate the holiday," Dr. Banner replied.
"I guess I'll go home to sleep tonight?" Li Qun said.
"That's for sure, it's very difficult to get Dad to pay for the accommodation."
Peter walked into the convenience store. The store owner looked Peter up and down. Peter had been a frequent customer of his convenience store for the past few days.
"If you want to buy alcohol, please show me your ID. I need to know if you're an adult," the convenience store owner said to Peter.
“I’m an adult.” Peter didn’t intend to show it; he became much bolder after putting on the hood.
"Ok."
Are you sure you want to buy this much?
"I'm sure."
"alright."
Peter walked out of the convenience store, carrying a full bag of liquor, and headed to the park.
Peter, dressed in strange clothes, appeared before the homeless man.
"That weirdo is here again."
The homeless people gathered around the gasoline drum were no longer surprised by Peter.
“I brought you something,” Peter said in a low voice.
"I don't eat bread."
“I brought you some wine,” Peter said.
"liquor?"
"She's finally grown up."
"You need to line up and come over one by one to receive it."
“I hate queuing.”
The homeless people in the park lined up in front of Peter, and more than a dozen of them received their drinks and started drinking them right away.
"You're the weirdest guy we've ever met. Do you have some kind of weird fetish?"
"I...maybe."
Peter looked down at himself; he hadn't painted the spider suit yet, so it was still white.
Aren't you cold?
“I can still feel the cold,” Peter replied.
Are you an alien?
Do I look like an alien?
"You seem to be observing us, secretly studying us, trying to learn how to play the role of an Earthling."
As they drank, the homeless men gathered together and chatted with Peter.
"Who were you before?" Peter asked.
“Me? I am a veteran. I gave everything for my country, but I was abandoned by it.”
"You really are an alien!"
"Ignore him, he's mentally ill."
"Who says I'm mentally ill? Aliens have come to Earth; they're lurking in every corner of society. I saw them twenty years ago, and they can transform into the very people they see."
“What’s the hardest part about being homeless on the streets?” Peter asked.
"The most difficult part?"
"It's human."
“Many people are hostile towards us, think that we shouldn’t exist, and ignore our existence.”
You look pretty good.
"He's an alien. He doesn't understand the rules on Earth, so he thinks we're the same as the people walking on the street during the day."
Chapter 270 Attacks in Red Form
Shuangxi was nestled on the sofa watching TV. If you were to ask who was the happiest person at Christmas, it would definitely be Shuangxi.
Liqun gave Shuangxi a VCD of "Ultraman Tiga" as a Christmas gift. It had Japanese dubbing and Chinese subtitles, which greatly improved Shuangxi's Chinese reading ability.
American children's television stations also imported "Ultraman Tiga," but the stations localized the plot and drastically altered most of the content. Li Qun's opinion on this was that it was garbage.
Hi! Good afternoon.
"Hi!! What brings you here?"
Peter appeared at the entrance of the Chinese restaurant, carrying a backpack.
“I always felt I couldn’t explain things clearly over the phone, so I brought the book with me.”
"I'm busy right now, can I wait an hour?"
"Is it only an hour's wait?"
"I did a lot of work yesterday, so today will be easier."
"Peter, go upstairs and wait for me. You can watch TV with Shuangxi."
"Have you eaten?" Li Qun asked.
“Oh, I’ve eaten!” Peter laughed.
Peter went upstairs and sat down on the sofa. Shuangxi took a bottle of iced cola from the refrigerator for Peter.
The two of them snuggled up on the sofa and watched "Ultraman Tiga".
Peter couldn't understand Japanese or Chinese subtitles, but he watched the TV intently, seemingly able to comprehend the plot.
On TV, the main character transforms, and a red-purple giant appears. The giant changes form and attacks in its red form...
Peter's eyes lit up!
That's right!
He can have many spider bodysuits, and he can have bodysuits in different colors!
He can "switch forms" like the giants on TV, and the single-color spider suit has very few problems when dyeing.
