America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

“You’ve killed some top scientists,” Norman retorted defiantly.
“That’s a rumor,” General Ross roared.
"Anyway, that top-notch scientist died because of you."
"The person isn't dead, they're just missing!"
“To be missing is the same as to be dead,” Norman said.
“Norman, I’m warning you…”
“You’ve been complaining to me that my project is progressing too slowly, making you feel hopeless. Now I’ve given you hope, but you don’t want to move forward with our collaboration!” Norman also became agitated.
“The experimental information is not transparent to me. Can you explain why?” General Ross asked.
"What if you give my experimental data to other labs? If others achieve results before me, won't you just kick me aside?!"
“You’ve done this before, so you’re worried the same thing will happen to you,” General Ross said calmly.
“You’ve done it, I know it very well,” Norman said.
"Can we stop here?" General Ross asked.
"Hurry up and send them over," Norman said.
"If you have a suitable candidate, I will allow you to choose one person to conduct human experiments."
"One person, how can one person be enough?"
One person is enough.
After the call ended, Norman rubbed his forehead, deep in thought.
What kind of person should he find to conduct the experiment to be considered suitable?
Norman wanted to come himself, but he was also considering having Harry come.
In the end, Norman decided to do it himself.
Norman knew that human experiments had already begun on Walter White, but Walter White was not using the fully enhanced serum.
Chapter 300 Preparations Before the Ball
Harry had attended many high-society dinners and balls, and dancing was a basic social skill for him. He could dance whenever someone invited him, no matter the circumstances.
Li Qun and Peter remarked that they were lucky to have Harry, otherwise they would have been embarrassed at the prom.
Dancing is difficult for them; when dancing with girls, their coordination seems to drop a hundredfold.
“Peter, you stepped on me!” Gwen shouted at Peter.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
"How many times has this happened? My feet are all swollen from being stepped on!" Gwen complained.
“Gwen, go and rest. Let me practice by myself,” Peter said.
“But we’re dance partners,” Gwen said to Peter.
“Actually, you could have asked Li Qun. Li Qun would rather twist his own ankle than step on your foot,” Peter said.
"Why don't you learn from Liqun?" Gwen asked.
Peter nodded.
Gwen invited Peter to be her dance partner, and Peter thought about it and agreed.
After Gwen extended an invitation to Peter, Liz also received an invitation from Liz.
Harry's invitation to Stephanie was expected, although he had politely declined invitations from other girls.
Harry was teaching Stephanie to dance, and it was Harry who got his foot stepped on.
Liz and Liz sat together, watching Harry and Peter's hilarious dancing, and they laughed happily together.
"Is it really okay for us to make fun of them like this?" Liz asked Liqun.
“The prom isn’t a dance party where we dance all night, and there’s no competition to see who dances best,” Li Qun said to Liz.
“Liz, do you think Gwen likes Peter?” Liz asked.
“Gwen likes Peter,” Li Qun replied.
“It’s not liking someone as a friend,” Liz said.
"I don't know about that."
Aren't you worried?
“What do I need to worry about?” Li Qun turned to look at Liz.
“I think you like Gwen,” Liz said.
“Uh… of course I like Gwen, but it’s not the kind of liking you’re thinking of,” Li Qun said.
"What kind of girl do you like? Don't tell me you like boys." Liz looked at Li Qun.
“The girl I like…first of all, she’s Asian, excluding Indians,” Li Qun said.
"I?"
"Liz, are you awake?"
“Is there anything about me that you don’t like?” Liz asked.
“You’re obsessed with romance. You judge a relationship based solely on who likes whom, without considering anything else,” Li Qun said.
"So, Liz, you only like whoever benefits you? You don't consider feelings, only interests?" Liz asked.
"This is another extreme."
"Actually, I didn't think about anything. I feel very comfortable on my own, without any friends."
"Don't you want to find a girlfriend?" Liz asked.
“I might have an avoidant social personality; if a girl takes the initiative with me, I’ll become wary,” Li Qun replied.
“I know, you’re wary of me,” Liz said.
"That's right, I am indeed wary of you."
"I'm going to help you correct this bad habit."
“You can’t correct it,” Li Qun said seriously.
"I think I can."
"I'm going to run away."
Li Qun stood up, but Liz immediately grabbed his wrist.
“Liqun, would you feel sad if I said you were an odd person?” Liz took Liqun’s wrist, and Liqun felt a soft touch on his wrist.
"I'm not sad. I know I'm pretty weird."
“That’s what I like about you; you’re very honest,” Liz said.
"I'm starting to feel the pressure."
Peter helped Gwen walk toward Liz and Liz, Gwen's face contorted in pain as she walked.
“I should have known better than to sympathize with Peter,” Gwen complained to Liqun.
"Did Peter stomp on your foot really hard?" Li Qun asked Gwen with a smile.
“He really used a lot of force!” Gwen turned and glared at Peter.
"I didn't mean it!" Peter said apologetically, almost kneeling down to Gwen.
“We’ll have to stay away from you at the ball. I don’t want to run into you when we’re exchanging partners, Peter,” Liz said to Peter.
“Peter, what’s wrong with you? Didn’t you have good body control when you were learning kung fu?” Li Qun asked.
“I was just too nervous,” Peter said, looking down.
“It also has to do with Gwen’s immense charm,” Li Qun said.
"Really? Why hasn't anyone asked me to be their dance partner?" Gwen asked, looking at Li Qun.
"It's because you're so charming that I feel I'm not good enough for you," Li Qun explained.
Gwen took off her shoes and discovered that her feet were swollen from being stepped on by Peter.
“I’ll take you home,” Peter said.
"Remember to apply an ice pack to it. I'll bring you some medicine to reduce the swelling tomorrow," Li Qun said.
“I don’t want to take Chinese medicine, it’s too bitter,” Gwen said to Liqun.
"It's not medicine for oral use, it's for external application, but the smell is a bit strange," Li Qun said.
“Peter, aren’t you being a bit too harsh?” Liz looked at Peter with a strange expression.
"I really didn't mean to."
“Or maybe there’s something wrong with your shoes,” Liz said.
“Are we supposed to practice barefoot? That’s even stranger!” Peter said.
“Is it possible that Harry’s teaching was flawed? The partner dance he taught us was quite difficult,” Li Qun said.
“I heard it…” Harry said.
Harry and Stephanie walked over, and Peter and Gwen stopped practicing. He and Stephanie had almost finished practicing as well.
"There are only a few types of dances performed at the ball, and what I teach are just the basic moves. As long as you master these basic moves, you can get by at the ball."
“Everyone’s practicing. I bet not many graduates, besides me, can dance a duet,” Harry said.
"Everyone probably just wants to get by."
"The main attraction of the ball is watching the teachers dance, isn't it?" Li Qun said.
“That’s not the real point; it’s about men and women using the ball to express their feelings for each other,” Liz said.
"Liz, you're here again."
