America: A Prodigy of Stereotypes

“He said he was just curious and wanted to try it,” Gwen said, arms crossed.
"So, what does cooking wine taste like? Aren't you curious?" Harry asked.
“I don’t want to know,” Li Qun said.
“Wait a minute, I’ve found a blind spot. If we want to drink, it seems like they won’t ask our age when we buy cooking wine,” Stephanie said.
"That's right. In specialty supermarkets, cooking wine is classified as a condiment, placed together with soy sauce, not as an alcoholic beverage," Li Qun said.
"Is cooking wine high in alcohol?" Stephanie asked.
“Not high. Not as strong as some beers,” Gwen replied.
"You guys don't really want to try the bar?" Li Qun asked.
Chapter 305 NPC on the Day of Skipping School
Skipping school days is another traditional activity for graduating high school students in New York.
The twelfth-grade students agreed to skip school on a certain day, and the school did not record the absence or impose any penalties.
This was a group activity that the 12th-grade students spontaneously agreed upon and organized themselves without the school's knowledge.
As it's a traditional event, when a school discovers its 12th-grade students have collectively disappeared, it will announce that day as a "Graduation Year Free Day." For safety reasons only, students are required to return to school to sign in after the day's group activities.
"Thanks to my dad for his strong support of our skip-school days."
On stage, Liz held a microphone and spoke to the students below the stage, who applauded enthusiastically.
The 12th graders from Midtown High School showed up at the Leeds Papa's Theatre on Broadway. Their truancy day activities went a little too far, and they even bribed the school bus driver to use the school bus.
Most parents support the collective activities of graduating students on their day off from school, and many of them are carrying pocket money sponsored by their parents.
Peter brought his camera; he had a task: to document today's group activities so the photos could be included in the graduation yearbook.
After watching the play at the theater, they would head to Central Park for a picnic party.
Everyone brought food, but Liqun brought a lot.
Many of my classmates have been eyeing Li Qun's lunch for a long time, and this picnic party seems to be their last chance to enjoy Li Qun's Chinese lunch.
Central Park is a famous tourist attraction in New York, and there are many food stalls around it, so it's not a problem to buy some food and drinks on the spot.
“It’s like we’ve become a tourist attraction for everyone,” Harry said.
“These out-of-towners might be wondering why a group of students suddenly appeared in Central Park today,” Gwen said.
“As long as no one asks any questions, we don’t need to pay attention to them; let them take pictures as they please,” Li Qun said.
"Leon, you brought a portable gas stove!!" Fleiss exclaimed in shock, standing behind Li Qun.
“Weren’t we supposed to have a picnic? I didn’t expect your picnic to be this low-level. I thought it would be this low-level.” Li Qun gestured to Frys, indicating that Frys’ picnic was a bit low-level.
"Is there a ban on open flames in Central Park?" Flash asked.
"Let's be careful, as long as no one calls the police," Li Qun said, glancing around.
A police car was parked on the edge of Central Park, and two New York police officers were on duty next to it.
“They’re secretly watching us,” Li Qun said to Frys.
“I can get my brothers to form a human wall for you,” Flash said.
Li Qun took a hanging pot out of his handbag; he planned to cook some rice.
Pour frozen corn and peas into the pot, unpress the compressed rice, cut the sausage and bacon with scissors, and finally pour in an appropriate amount of drinking water, add salt, stir well, and start simmering.
"That's strange, there are Arabs selling pilaf over there." Gwen complained to the hanging pot.
"Why does this pot of rice smell so good?" Fleiss asked curiously, squatting down beside him.
"I used pork fat," Li Qun replied softly.
Dozens of people ate snacks while waiting for Liqun to finish cooking the rice. Liqun calculated in his mind that he would need to use this large hanging pot to cook rice three times to feed his classmates.
Peter took several photos of Liqun and Diaoguo with his camera, lost in thought.
"What are you thinking about so intently?" Li Qun asked Peter.
“I’m reminded of that holiday when we were handing out meals to people at the shelter,” Peter said.
“I think I’ve spotted a few familiar faces here,” Li Qun said to Peter.
“That was almost two years ago, wasn’t it?” Li Qun asked Peter.
“It’s been almost two years,” Peter replied.
"I feel like I'm almost better."
Liqun untied the pot lid, poured some soy sauce into the pot, and stirred it with a wooden-handled spoon.
When the rice was cooked, the students gathered around Li Qun with their paper bowls, and Li Qun filled each bowl with braised rice.
“My God, there are people who can’t eat that,” Peter whispered to Li Qun.
“Don’t tell him, then he can eat it,” Li Qun whispered to Peter.
After one batch was divided up, Liqun started another.
While Li Qun was tending to the rice, his classmates surrounded him, feeding him the food they had brought.
Candy, chocolate, potato chips, corn chips... Li Qun accepts them all. When someone tries to give him a kiss, he stops them with his hand.
"Leon, you're not gay, are you?"
"I just don't want to be kissed to death. Once someone kisses my cheek, everyone else, whether male or female, will try to kiss me too," Li Qun explained.
“Honestly, I really wanted to kiss Liqun, but he’s allergic to kissing,” Harry said with a chuckle.
"A hug is fine, right?"
"of course can!"
Li Qun opened his arms and accepted the female classmate's hug.
As Li Qun had predicted, men and women alike rushed towards him and embraced him.
When they hugged, everyone not only thanked Li Qun for the delicious food he made today, but also thanked him for helping them with their homework over the past two years, as well as for helping them organize and summarize test questions before each exam.
『Gaining a stereotype: NPC』
The attribute panel popped up in front of Li Qun's eyes, but he immediately pressed it back down.
"I'm an NPC, and you're NPCs too," Li Qun muttered to himself.
"What NPC?" Peter's ears were very sharp.
"It's nothing," Li Qun smiled at Peter.
Li Qun thought about it seriously and realized that his daily activities at school really did seem to make him a functional NPC.
They would occasionally pass on notices to the teacher, provide exam materials before exams, and serve special food at parties...
My classmates are like gamers; they usually don't refuse when they come to me for help.
"He's an important NPC." Li Qun muttered to himself.
Li Qun glanced at Peter with a shifty look in his eyes.
Peter is the main character in the game's storyline, so it's quite reasonable for me to be an NPC who provides assistance.
Two New York police officers on duty walked towards the students, both with smiles on their faces.
They chatted with Flash, who called Peter over to take some group photos of them. Afterwards, the students gathered in twos and threes and also took some group photos with the two police officers.
“They’re alumni,” Peter said to Li Qun.
“Peter, have you noticed that our school’s college acceptance rate is alarmingly high?” Li Qun asked Peter.
“However, being admitted to university does not guarantee a smooth graduation,” Peter said.
"Too."
Liqun nodded.
The holding of the day of skipping class means that the college application results for all graduating students have been finalized, and each student has made a decision about their future.
Chapter 306 The Charming Villain
In the café, Norman Osborne took a bottle of medicine from his pocket and placed it on the table, while Walter White sat opposite him.
“You need to take your medication,” Norman told Walter.
“I’m cured, I don’t need any medicine,” Walter said, looking at Norman.
“I’ll take my medicine, and you’ll take yours too,” Norman said.
Walter watched with a stern face as Norman shook a pill out of the bottle and swallowed it with his coffee.
“Norman, you…”
"It's just as you think, it has the same side effects."
Walter White picked up the medicine bottle and checked the name of the medicine.
This is a common medication he knows for treating mental illness.
Walter shook a pill out of the bottle and, like Norman, swallowed it with coffee.
The pills took effect quickly, and Norman and Walter leaned back in their cafe booths, feeling the embrace of an angel.
“Can you feel it? This is the feeling of peace, the world is at peace,” Norman said to Walter, looking out at the Manhattan street scene.
"I'm not thinking about anything right now."
“I don’t even want to talk,” Walter said to Norman.
“You’ve grown hair,” Norman said, looking at the top of Walter’s head.
“I still prefer the feeling of having hair on my head,” Walter said.
“We’ve accomplished another great thing,” Norman smiled.
You disgust me.
