The messenger's body stiffened for a moment.

He stared at Sebastian's face, trying to find any flaw in it.

But the messenger saw nothing.

He gritted his teeth, and the muscles on his fox-like face twitched.

"You'll regret this." He said through gritted teeth, his voice filled with bitter hatred. "Do you think you can stand against the entire orc kingdom?"

The messenger took two steps back, puffed out his thin chest, and said in a resentful tone:

"There's an old proverb in the Orcish kingdom: 'Even the hardest dragon scales can't stop the sharp axe of an Orc warrior.'"

He carefully observed Sebastian's reaction.

Sebastian's eyes flickered slightly, a fleeting...shock?

The envoy saw this.

'really!'

He was overjoyed.

'The opponent really is a dragon!'

'Furthermore, the dragons are still somewhat afraid of their orcish kingdom.'

The messenger straightened his back even more, raised his chin, and his smug expression reappeared.

"Although you are powerful, the Orcish Kingdom's army of 100,000 and the powerful leaders of various tribes are all gathered here. Even if you are a dragon..."

"It's impossible for them to escape unscathed."

Sebastian looked at him without saying a word.

The messenger interpreted this silence as tacit agreement.

He revealed a smug smile.

"His Majesty and the tribal chiefs will make you aware of the wrath of the Orcish Kingdom!"

He waved to the entourage behind him.

"Let's go!"

After saying that, he turned around and strode back the way he came.

With brisk steps and high spirits, its gray-white tail was held high behind it.

Sebastian stood there, watching the small team gradually disappear into the distance.

The wind ruffled his gray hair, and the hem of his black tailcoat swayed gently in the breeze.

He sighed softly.

"it's a pity."

he murmured.

"There could have been more orcs to see peace."

In the distance, the envoy's figure had already disappeared around the bend of the hill.

Sebastian looked toward the direction of the Orcish army at the front.

"So"

He strode off toward the orc army.

"The only option is to defeat them head-on."

In the distance, several crows were startled from the withered tree and flapped their wings as they flew into the sky.

Chapter 83 War Conference

The atmosphere inside the Orc King's tent was more somber than usual.

Dozens of tribal chiefs gathered here, filling the huge animal skin tent to the brim.

They were all different in appearance, their fur of various colors shimmering in the light of the oil lamp, their beastly eyes gleaming in the shadows, and the entire tent was filled with an aura mixed with the stench of animals.

The Orc King sat on the stone chair in the center, covered with human skin. His golden-brown lion mane cascaded down to his shoulders, and his amber eyes were half-closed as he glanced at each of the leaders present.

The Orc King instructed the fox-man messenger to relay Sebastian's words in full.

The messenger entered from outside the tent.

His thin body seemed somewhat timid under the gaze of the many tall orcs, but he still mustered his spirits and carried out the orc king's orders.

“That…sir said he has three conditions.”

"First, the Orc Kingdom shall return all the territories it has occupied from the Dragon Kingdom."

As soon as he finished speaking, a deep sound came from inside the tent, and the tribal chiefs exchanged glances.

"Second, release all the humans who are kept in captivity within the orc kingdom."

[Fangs] Two thick breaths spewed from the nostrils of the boar-headed tribal chief, and two long, curved tusks gleamed coldly. [Blood Night] The wolf-headed tribal chief grinned, revealing two rows of sharp, white teeth.

The messenger suppressed his inner panic and continued to repeat the story.

"Third, the Orc Kingdom must legislate to permanently prohibit the consumption of humans. This law must be effectively enforced."

The tent erupted in chaos instantly.

"what!"

"Cannibalism is prohibited?"

"What kind of condition is this?!"

"Too deceiving!"

Tiger-headed leader of the Steel Teeth tribe was the first to stand up.

He was a burly man, his orange and black tiger stripes standing out under the lights, and the "king" character on his forehead was twisted with anger.

"You won't eat people? Then what are we supposed to eat? Grass!"

He slammed his hand on the table, which groaned under the weight, its legs sinking slightly.

"My tribe was ravaged by human cavalry! Our village was burned, our food was stolen, and our people were killed! Now that dragon wants me to pass a law prohibiting the consumption of people?"

His canines bared, and he spewed out rough breaths, making a low, thunderous sound.

"I'm going to tear that dragon apart with my own hands! And eat roasted dragon meat!"

The surrounding leaders echoed this sentiment.

"That's right!"

"At worst, we'll fight this dragon to the death!"

"Orcs will never bow down to anyone!"

The boar leader roared in a deep voice, his two thick tusks swaying up and down with the opening and closing of his mouth, and the heavy breaths from his nostrils blew several sheets of paper off the table in front of him.

The wolf leader licked his lips, a dangerous glint flashing in his eerie green eyes.

The Orc King raised his hand.

The noise inside the tent gradually subsided, but the heavy breathing and the grinding of teeth of several leaders could still be heard.

"I understand what you all mean."

He had been observing the reactions of the tribal leaders.

"Then..." the Orc King's tone suddenly became more serious, "who is willing to be the vanguard and lead the charge?"

The tent fell silent instantly.

This was a stark contrast to the previous commotion, like a blazing fire suddenly doused with ice water.

The tribal chiefs who had been roaring just moments before now all lowered their eyes or looked away.

Tiger-headed leader of the Steel Teeth tribe sat back down in his chair, his earlier aura of "wanting to tear that dragon apart with his own hands" deflated like a punctured balloon. He picked up the water glass on the table, pretending to drink, but his tiger eyes secretly glanced to the side.

The wolf-headed leader withdrew his tongue from his lips, lowered his head to fiddle with the dagger at his waist, and transformed into a craftsman studying magical patterns.

The wild boar leader stopped roaring and stuck its huge ears back, as if to say, "I didn't hear you."

The other tribal leaders also went about their own business.

They were either grooming their own fur or whispering with other leaders; clearly, they weren't discussing important matters.

The Orc King watched this scene, a complex light flashing in his eyes.

He sighed silently to himself.

If that savage bear from Urgov were still around, we wouldn't have to worry about this.

Although that guy had rebellious intentions, every time this happened, all it took was a few words of provocation and he would be at the forefront.

Sometimes, you don't even need to say a word; just a glance is enough for the other person to eagerly rush forward.

Even knowing that he would suffer heavy losses, that guy would stubbornly stick to his guns for the sake of saving face.

But unfortunately, that stupid bear is now dead.

The Orc King glanced around the tent. He needed cannon fodder vanguards at the forefront to minimize the damage to his tribe's strength.

Finally, his gaze fell on a figure.

Jakka, the leopard-headed orc leader of the [Swift Wind] tribe.

The leopard beastman was smaller than the tiger beastman leader, but had long limbs, smooth and powerful muscle lines, and its light golden fur was covered with black spots.

The Orc King looked at Jaka, and Jaka felt that gaze.

His eyes met the Orc King's gaze, and a sense of unease rose in Jakka's heart.

"Chief Jaka," the Orc King addressed him.

Jaka's body stiffened slightly.

“Your Majesty…” His voice was somewhat hoarse.
