Ainz Ooal Gown: Noble Knight

Sebastian looked down at his empty arms.
The touch of Lord Tapimi's armor still lingered on his hands, but that figure was no longer in his arms; only air and dust flowed through his fingers.
Sebastian felt empty inside, as if something had been ripped out.
His gaze followed Tapimy's kneeling figure as the boy leaned closer to the girl, tears welling in his azure eyes and falling onto the girl's blood-stained blanket.
Sebastian's Adam's apple bobbed up and down.
He was certainly saddened for Lord Tapchimi; he wanted to see the man so heartbroken more than anyone else.
but……
Those light gray eyes lowered, looking at their empty hands.
But just a moment ago, Lord Tapimit was still in his arms.
The first thing Lord Tapimy saw when he woke up was himself.
Sebastian shook his head, suppressing those inappropriate thoughts.
Now is not the time to think about this. Lord Tapimit is still grieving for the lost life. What he should do is find a way to comfort that man.
"Sebastian."
Rune's voice came from the side, interrupting Sebastian's thoughts.
Sebastian looked up and met Rune's light green eyes.
The young man was looking at him with a slightly helpless smile on his lips, conveying the message, "I understand how you feel."
Sebastian wanted to say, 'No, you don't understand.'
But Sebastian suddenly noticed that Rune was not in good condition; his left side armor had clearly been attacked.
Rune's face was paler than usual, and his breathing was a beat faster than normal.
“Lord Rune.” Sebastian stood up and strode forward. “You are injured.”
“It’s just a minor injury, nothing serious.” Rune shook his head, his tone casual.
Sebastian's gaze had already swept over the wound.
As a powerful warrior, he could easily judge the severity of the injury. He had been hit hard on the side ribs, and at least two ribs had cracked. Although they were not broken or dislocated, they still needed to be treated promptly.
Sebastian reached into his robes to retrieve the healing potion, but paused when his hand touched the inner pocket.
He had used up all the healing potions he carried to treat Lord Tapimi.
Sebastian froze for a moment.
He withdrew his hand, and the qi in his palm began to condense, with a pale white light flowing around his fingertips.
"Lord Rune, please allow me to..."
“No need, no need.” Rune waved his hand, stepping aside to avoid Sebastian’s outstretched hand. “My injuries are nothing; I can get them treated by the local priest later. Sebastian, you’ve already gone through enough; there’s no need for you to waste your energy on me.”
Sebastian's brow furrowed even deeper as he looked at Rune's nonchalant expression.
But Rune had already turned his attention to Tapimy, no longer giving him a chance to persist.
Sebastian, judging from his own experience, guessed that Lord Rune was probably more worried about Lord Touchmy's condition, and therefore could not care about his own injuries.
Tapimi knelt on the ground, carefully supporting Leno's body with both hands.
He gently placed the girl on his lap, brushed aside the messy hair stuck to her forehead with blood, revealing her thin, almost skeletal face.
Touchimi was supporting the girl in the same position that Sebastian had just used to support him.
“Leno…”
Tapchimi kept repeating her name. He had no chance to properly call her name while she was alive, and could only make up for it now in vain.
Touchi extended trembling fingers and gently touched the girl's eyebrows and eyes, wanting to confirm that she still existed and remained in this world.
But the last trace of warmth remaining in the girl's body was slowly fading away.
Sebastian stood to the side, watching the scene in silence.
His hands clenched and unclenched.
But Touchme's entire attention was on the girl; everyone else, including Sebastian, was just a blurry silhouette in the background.
Rune stood between the two and watched everything unfold.
His gaze lingered for a moment on Tapchimi's tear-streaked face, then shifted to Sebastian's face, which was etched with complex emotions, before finally settling on Leno's now motionless body.
Could this be the legendary love triangle?
Rune silently made a little joke in his mind.
Although he could roughly guess what was going on in Touchimi and Sebastian's minds, Rune still couldn't help but take a few more glances.
While satisfying the underlying gossip code of the human being.
This gave Rune an idea of where to start with Sebastian's "obedience test".
Chapter 101 Ainz is awesome!
Tachimi's cries echoed through the camp, like a dull knife cutting into Sebastian's heart again and again.
Rune stood a few steps away, looking at the kneeling boy, and stepped forward.
He squatted down next to Tapimi.
"Tachimi".
The voice was very soft, as if afraid of disturbing something.
Tapimi didn't look up; his hands were still supporting Leno's body, and tears dripped onto the girl's blood-stained blanket.
Don't be too sad.
Rune's voice was gentle and steady, carrying a power that made people willing to believe.
Touchimi's shoulders trembled slightly as he raised his bloodshot eyes and looked at Rune.
Rune looked at Tapchimi and Leno in his arms.
“I will bring the bodies of the soldiers from the territory, along with Leno, back to the Dragon Kingdom.” Rune paused, carefully choosing his words. “The Dragon Kingdom does not have any priests capable of resurrection magic, but I will notify Silk and have her use teleportation magic to come and help, and try my best to revive Leno.”
Tachimi's pupils suddenly contracted.
In those azure eyes, the light that had been extinguished, like embers blown by the wind, rekindled with a spark.
"Lord Rune..." His voice was cautious, filled with disbelief and anticipation, "Is it really... possible to revive him?"
Rune nodded, but his answer was ambiguous. "As long as the body is intact, there is hope."
Tapchimi's lips trembled, and tears welled up again, but this time, they were tears of hope.
He looked down at Leno in his arms and whispered tenderly, "Leno, did you hear that... Lord Rune said you can come back to life..."
He held the girl even tighter, embracing her along with the newly ignited hope within him.
Sebastian stood aside, watching this scene with a hint of something he wanted to say but hesitated. He already knew that the outcome would likely disappoint Lord Touchmy.
Rune glanced at Sebastian without making a sound, then quickly looked away.
This is a lie.
The girl's rank was probably only level one, at most level two, and her occupation was likely a slave.
It absolutely does not meet the requirements of the fifth-tier faith-based magic, [Resurrection of the Dead].
You'll need to use a higher-level resurrection spell or item, because the higher the level of the resurrection spell, the less experience points the target needs to be resurrected.
In this world, only a few forces are capable of doing this, and the Great Tomb of Nazarick is one of them.
'Sebastian, you wouldn't want Tapchimi to stay so sad, would you?'
With Sebastian's intelligence, he should be able to figure out the key to it.
Rune stood up, about to speak and guide the conversation again.
Sebastian, however, acted first.
The old butler took two steps forward and walked up to Tapimi.
He bent down, bringing his line of sight to the kneeling boy.
There was no hesitation or doubt on that wrinkled face at that moment.
"Lord Tachimi."
Sebastian's voice was calm, yet very resolute.
"Please rest assured, this child can definitely be brought back to life."
Tachimi suddenly raised his head.
Those azure eyes still held undried tears, but at this moment, hope was surging within them.
“Lord Sebastian…” his voice trembled, “Are you telling the truth?”
Sebastian looked at him and nodded.
"I assure you."
After receiving confirmation from both Lord Rune and Lord Sebastian, Touchimi confirmed the authenticity of the promise.
A smile spread across his face.
Although her eyes were still red and tears were still on her face, her smile was exceptionally bright, full of the joy of regaining what she had lost.
"Thank you, Lord Sebastian."
Sebastian's light gray eyes were filled with the reflection of Tapimi's smile.
“No need for thanks, Lord Tapimi.” His voice was soft. “It is what I should do.”
Rune stood a few steps away, watching everything unfold.
He lowered his eyes and silently archived everything in his mind.
Sebastian was willing to go to such lengths for Tapu Mi, even making a promise in person without confirming Ainz Ooal Gown's consent.
