I'm in Detective Conan, and the system has appointed Batman.

Unless a heinous murder occurs near the Junior Detective League.

Otherwise, Ai Haibara would still remain skeptical.

"Come on, Ai, one of our group activities as the Junior Detective Club is to check if we have any cases!"

Ayumi, all smiles, pulled Ai Haibara, who had just finished packing her schoolbag, towards the first floor of the school building.

Helpless, Ai Haibara had no choice but to go along.

However, on the way, she couldn't help but glare at Conan, who was smirking beside her.

Honestly, I have no idea what this shrunken detective is thinking.

Does shrinking the body mean a regressed mental age?

Wow, a client!

Genta Kojima, who had opened the shoe cabinet to check ahead of time, exclaimed in surprise.

Ai Haibara: ?

Huh? A case has really come knocking on our door? Is it a serious incident?

I'm not sure, I'll think about it some more.

Ai Haibara, who was initially reluctant to follow, took the initiative to go over and take a look this time.

Mitsuhiko, who was originally next to Genta, quickly gave up his seat when he saw Ai Haibara coming over. Then, because Ayumi also came over, he had to give up his seat again, becoming the first person on the outside even though he was the second to arrive.

"This is... Junya's request!"

"Junye's older brother has gone missing, and he hopes we can help him find him! Wow, this is quite a difficult request, but with our Junior Detective Club here, we'll definitely be fine!"

Genta raised the letter in his hand and said loudly.

Having finished reading the letter, Ai Haibara frowned and took a step back.

She took her phone out of her pocket and sent a message to Chen En.

This is no longer an ordinary game for elementary school students.

If it really involves a kidnapping case, then it is indeed a criminal matter.

It would be safer to send a message to Chen En to explain the situation.

"Okay, let's go to Junye's house and ask him what's going on!"

"I'm full of energy," Yuan Tai said.

Ayumi and Mitsuhiko, who were standing nearby, cheered along with them.

Looking at the Junior Detective League, who were determined to go.

Ai Haibara couldn't help but feel a pang of emotion.

Are elementary school students in Beika Town really that stubborn these days?

As expected of a Beika Town resident who's stubborn to the end.

Seeing this, Conan simply patted Ai Haibara on the shoulder, sighed, and said...

"Let's go, we can't let elementary school students do this kind of thing."

"I joined the Junior Detective Club and acted with them because I was worried about their safety. However, I didn't expect that doing so would bring bad luck to me."

Ai Haibara: ?

Do you still remember your "bad luck" theory from this morning? Are you serious?

Ai Haibara shook her head slightly.

It seems the only option is to go and see what's going on.

If there's any danger, she and Conan can at least cover for them.

However, just as Ai Haibara changed her shoes and followed the Detective Boys and Conan toward the entrance of Teitan Elementary School, Chen En's reply finally arrived.

She took her phone out of her pocket.

The reply clearly showed

I'm already handling it. You and Conan can just continue as usual.

[Sender: Chen En]

Ai Haibara: ?

What do you mean by "you're already handling it"?

You don't even know the students' names on the sticky notes in the shoe cabinet, you don't know any information at all, and you've already started processing it? Did you really use a full-map cheat? You never turned it off from beginning to end?

Ai Haibara was filled with questions.

However, Conan, standing nearby, seemed quite used to Ai Haibara's questions.

He had previously wondered why Chen En always seemed to know where a heinous murder would happen and was on the scene in advance, but every time he asked later, Chen En would say it was because he was Batman.

Conan then felt relieved.

He just muttered to himself,

"Don't ask. Even if you call him, he'll just tell you, 'Because I'm Batman.'"

Ai Haibara: ?

This anime/manga fandom seems to be getting increasingly sick.

[A serious incident threatening Gotham City's safety has been detected nearby!]

As Batman, you have a duty to maintain order in Gotham City. Please arrive at the scene immediately and apprehend the criminal before they flee, or stop them from committing further crimes during their commission!

[Difficulty level: Medium. Completing this task will reward you with 50 points!]

Chen En turned off the system screen in front of him and put his hands into his pockets.

Behind him was a train station.

Otogawa Station.

The plot about [Junya's brother] being kidnapped is undoubtedly the episode in the anime where Ai Haibara appears. Thanks to that, Chen En remembers the content of that episode fairly clearly.

Therefore, he took the opportunity to investigate information about the counterfeit money thief, Silver Fox.

The result was as expected

The counterfeit money thief remains at large and has not been apprehended by the police.

After calling the Dadujian Police Station, he confirmed that there was indeed a newspaper office next to the station, which was probably the temporary base that Silver Fox had set up to cover up his counterfeit money printing activities.

"Inspector Megure?"

"I am Chen En. I am currently next to the Dadujian Police Station. Please bring your men over here. There is a counterfeit money manufacturing gang here, armed with guns. They are the people of the counterfeit money thief 'Silver Fox' who has been wanted by the Metropolitan Police Department."

They walked towards the Dadujian Police Station.

Chen En sent a bat light to Inspector Megure of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

Inside the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department at this very moment.

Several question marks involuntarily appeared above Inspector Megure's head.

Dude, Otsuma isn't even in Beika Town anymore, is he?

Why did you travel so far to investigate the case?

However, Silver Fox is indeed a wanted criminal that the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has been pursuing.

Inspector Megure didn't even ask how they found it.

He simply stood up and answered,

"I'll take some men there right now."

He picked up the coat next to him and put it on.

At the same time, Shiratori Ninzaburo, who was still on duty, looked up curiously at Inspector Megure and asked,

"Inspector Megure, another call? What's the case?"

"Do you need my help?"

In response, Inspector Megure simply stated without hesitation,

"No need, I'm just taking some people to clean up the mess."

"By the time we get there, it will probably already be resolved."

Shiratori Ninzaburo: ?

What does this mean? I don't understand.

Do you think someone will feed you performance results?

Chapter 174 The Fear of Darkness Invades

The Lianhe Building, third floor, the secret room of the Dadujian Newspaper Office.

Silver Fox, the notorious counterfeit money thief wanted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, was sitting in a secluded room at this moment, smoking a cigarette, puffing out clouds of smoke, his brow slightly furrowed, when he asked...

"Didn't Inuyama say he went to get the color-changing ink? Why isn't he back yet?"

Silver Fox was very dissatisfied with this underling.

She always thought this underling was a fool who loved to take advantage of others. If it weren't for the fact that they couldn't find anyone else and had to rely on Inuyama, she would have kicked Inuyama out of the team long ago.

"It's alright, there's no rush."

"Our new sculptor still needs some time to familiarize himself with the work before he can complete the carving of Fukuzawa Yukichi."

Inside the secret chamber, a sculptor with a bandaged hand spoke with a cold laugh.
