He nodded lightly and looked around to find any sect elder present.

But to his confusion, there was nobody— not even Bo Pengfei in the sect, as if… they vanished into thin air.

"Where are the other sect elders?" Bai Yunyu asked.

Bai Yunyu sat under the plum blossom tree and played with his Guqin to calm himself. His mind was a mess right now. He was worried about Han Shun and the rest of the sect elders.

"What happened while I was out?" Bai Yunyu asked himself.

Bai Yunyu felt something was off, which definitely involved Han Shun and the missing sect elders. He had lost contact with Bo Pengfei, which was almost impossible knowing how devoted Bo Pengfei was to him.

Han Shun was floating in the sea of emptiness. He knew that he fell unconscious, and Master Han had set up a scene that would make Bai Gege believe that he also got attacked.

"Master Han, where are you?" 

A swarm of purple butterflies appeared and gathered in front of Han Shun. The purple butterflies became the gate for Han Ye to enter.

"What's wrong?" Master Han Ye asked.

"Master Han, it's been a while, and I haven't woken up yet. What happened to me?" Han Shun asked worriedly.

"THREE YEARS?!" Han Shun's eyes widened. 

"Yes, it's because you're not strong enough to use it for that long," Han Ye added. Though, it was mostly a lie. Han Shun is already strong enough to handle the power. He would be exhausted at best after using it for too long. It was just Han Ye who tempered with his body, making him unconscious for a long time. "Don't worry, though. You're safe now in Bai Shijue's courtyard. He found your body and healed you back to perfect health. But your consciousness still won't return until three years later."

"I—I can't do that, Master Han! Bai Gege must've been worried about me!" Han Shun said. "Please do something, so I can wake up!"

"Well, I can help you, of course. But you need to swallow another marble," Han Ye opened his palm and summoned another marble. "This one is powerful, contained the soul of the devil named Lee Yongsun. I have to give you this one because you need the strength boost coming from a powerful soul. The big, buff, handsome man— probably more than 2 feet tall with devil horns nodded obediently and grabbed the mop.

He moped the floor that was stained with a baby's piss, "Wife, do you need me to do anything more? I can help if you cook want!"

"No need to help me with cooking. Just help me change Yongjae's diaper. That kid has been floating around somewhere. Use your power to catch him!"
