I blurted it out immediately. Maybe it’s finally time to use the strengthening magic I just absorbed? Closing my eyes, I try to concentrate in the brief grace period and just as I try to materialize the magic-

My composure broke, but unlike previous times instead of being more submissive, I wanted to break free from her grip and reverse her momentum.

She patted my head, ignoring my horns like Emil.
