After playing Slimepop Rika successfully acquired [female Samurai]. It required you have a sword equipped but luckily Rika had one in her room, aristocrats have all sorts of conveniences.

It’s quite a good sword as well, it increases STR. Using her sword she was able to meet the requirements after only 200 slimes.

“Thats so surprising, this isn’t a dream is it? ”

“Just like I said right? Congratulations on awakening.”

“Thank you Zephyrus, it’s all thanks to you.”

Now that she has a job our next goal is to get her to level 6 and teach her the strongest build.

“[Female Samurai] is a melee attacker or tank. Since you can’t use magic you specialize in close quarters.”

It’s a job that excels in a one on one fight, it may seem weaker when the number of enemies increase but its particularly useful in boss fights where the boss is a single entity. In the position of tank it doesn’t use a shield but it’s good at partying and defending with a weapon. I explained all this while Rika took notes.

“Kind of like that, what do you think?”

“It makes sense, if all the other members are following Zephyrus’ advice then I have no complaints. ”

The [Female Samurai] defends by directly parrying an opponents strike so I had her increase DEX as it helps make it easier to do so.

Next is the attack style which generally comes down to either the single sword or twin sword style. The single sword style mainly fights through defense and Counter attacks. However my recommendation is the Twin sword style, where you have a smaller sword in one hand to be used for defense and parrying. While the other, longer sword, is used to attack, this style also allows you to switch into a dual sword defense if the enemy attacks are two intense. Of course on the opposite side of the spectrum you can also switch to attacking with both swords.

As for skills [Duel] is a skill that actually helps build your attack power in one on one fights. The more you attack the more power there is behind each attack. However attacking a different opponent resets the Counter.

The next 3 skills are all used to deflect or Counter the opponents attacks. Their active defence skills, it helps you offset the attacks and deal damage while defending yourself.

Finally [Self Proclamation], this skill pulls aggro much like my [appeal] skill and Ciaras [Provocation].

Unfortunately this left her without any direct attack skills. But they will come once she reaches level 20 and opens up the second set of skills.

“This is awesome, it all seems fairly reasonable as well.”

“So there’s no problem? I thought there might be an issue with the Twin swords.”

“True, it’s unusual for Samurai to use more than one sword. However this is set up in a defensive style that matches my tastes so it’d alright.”

That’s good, it’s almost 9pm now and it seems like it’s a good time to wrap up for dinner.

“With you and Kahlua working together you should be able to make it up to the beginner level intermediate tier dungeons.”

“Yeah, I want to challenge the dungeons as soon as possible. I’m really looking forward to it.”

“Kahluas equipment won’t be ready until tomorrow evening. So if you to pass the tutorial dungeon during the day then you should be able to continue onto the lower tier dungeons the day after.”

“Ok, that seems rational, let’s do that then.”

The next goal is to recruit more members and aim for E rank, the only requirement is that the leader has to have cleared all three beginner level upper tier dungeons.

Eden is on its way, step by step to become the strongest. I’m really looking forward to it.
