Zeel gasps awake, feeling as if he had been slumbering since time immemorial. As he got up his bones creaked and his muscle ached, if not for his nanites it would no doubt take a couple days just to be able to walk again.

"Damn! I wonder how long we were asleep for! Ugh, she should be a couple kilometers from here but she's a big girl so I need to deal with my stuff first." Zeel mutters to himself as his first order of business was confirming the location of Alice whom he shared his nanites with. Truly he hoped that Umbrella Corporation would separate them since it would trigger an immediate awakening on his side, which would be the best case scenario but it seemed the crafty bastards noticed this flaw and opted to keep him and Alice close.

After confirming the wellbeing of Alice, which was very uncharacteristic behavior for Zeel, he then checked himself with the first thing he noticed being the nanites in his body reacting violently to a foreign substance attempting to keep the substance in check and failing miserably. It didn't take a genius to realize he had been infected and the nanites were barely coping with regulation of the mutations in his body, he was in urgent need of a nanites upgrade to refine the T-virus in his system.

"It seems an upgrade is necessary to merge with this foreign substance otherwise I could very well mutate or even die." Zeel contemplates as he knows he requires Lanthanum and cerium, luckily both of which he found previously at The Hive and stashed in the mansion before being captured.

"Good thing I stashed away both with some liquid mercury ahead of time or I would be in some deep shit right now"

Removing the needles and appendages piercing his skin, Zeel proceeds to make his way towards the door which automatically unlocks along with scrambling the video feed all courtesy of his nanites. The nanites after all could hack almost anything given the appropriate time and proximity to the target. Zeel walks outside the facility to an entirely desolate Raccoon City, ignoring the lack of people since this is what he already expects, he proceeds to a nearby clothing store to acquire proper clothing and footwear, since it is free might as well get some Jordan's and designer clothing. Zeel went with an Adidas sweat pants, Lakers shirt and Kobe Nike shoes, he looked like the textbook definition of a 'player'.

After being properly clothed, he does some light exercise before jogging to the outskirts of the Raccoon city, for a moment he could feel Alice coming his direction, but probably noticing he's getting further away she stops and heads in another direction much to his dismay. Truly he held great caution in anything that involved Alice since his feelings towards her had diminished a great deal since its initial awakening, but he also found himself craving the connection they have which had become much more apparent to himself after awakening from the medically induced coma.

On his way to the mansion near the outskirts of Raccoon City, Zeel questioned himself many times searching for possible reasons he would make the decision to give Alice his best creation – Self Replicating Nanite Technology. This was a benefit not even afforded to his own family as they possessed a lesser version of his nanites and not the one he himself used.

After waking up and detaching herself from the machines, Alice was both confused and a bit anxious though she would never show it on her face. Alice preferred to keep a stoic on expression on her face, the reason for this, even she herself did not know why. Not minding her lightly dressed nature, Alice stumbled down the corridor searching for an exit to wherever she is. Truth be told she had experienced being captured enough that exiting a facility where she had been experimented on shocked her only a little and did not invoke any other feelings of discomfort.

After exiting the facility and finding a shotgun from a nearby police car in this now desolate land, she sensed a familiar presence some kilometers away. After some major contemplation she decides to go and check it out, but after noticing it is getting a bit farther away she decides to also go and look for her own adventure which would usually entail shooting and running from something. Alice found herself a bit disappointed by Zeel's presence getting further and further away, she had grown a bit reliant on their connection since that was the only thing she could feel during her coma.

Despite their kind previous interactions, Alice knows that both she and Zeel are essentially strangers, they have literally known each other for about one day, however long ago that occurred since she suspects she had been in the medical facility for at least a couple months now. Even if it was an adventurous day it was nonetheless a day, it would take a couple more days for her to accept him some more, since well it is the apocalypse and she knows her days are limited as it is. She still had major prejudices against him since she was previously prepared to kill him on the railway after finding out he killed Rain.

Clearing her thoughts of anything related to Zeel or any other fallen companions, she does the next best thing and heads to a nearby clothing shop searching for clothing to suit her taste. Unlike Zeel, Alice prefers to wear clothing that would be combat efficient and show some skin since fighting tends to make you sweat and she would rather not be soaked in her own sweat, even if she doesn't care much during this apocalyptic times 'A lady will be a lady no matter what'. Putting on a full black suit mostly leather based with holsters for her guns she would probably steal later on, Alice then heads in a random direction hoping to find someone who could fill her in on the necessary information she requires.
