ZeLin and ZeRen both sat in the same room, in the home they bought for themselves and their family. In the last expansion, although they were on both ends of the spectrum, they both managed to amass a lot of money.

Both of them were using the latest gaming pods. Nodding to each other, they both got into their individual pods and drifted into Aegis.

Aegis herself greeted all players who logged on. It was nice hearing her voice again. It had been 6 months since the servers went down for upgrading to this expansion.

ZeRen and ZeLin chose to use the same gamer tags as they did in the last expansion. Unknown to them, in the last couple of days, the forums were once again a buzz, speculation of who won the last battle between them was being debated. Dark Empire's guild members were saying that their guild leader won, and in vice-versa for Holy Empire.

Both guild leaders had gone dark after the server went down. For the whole 6 months, no one had heard from them. The two were spending time with family and children, taking a long deserved break from the game.

ZeRen was amazed to see that he had a title right off the bat, looking at the Title, its description popped up: [Surpassor Title is granted to players with significant contributions in the last expansion.] ZeRen guessed that it was because he had opened up a lot of new dungeons and cleared many bandits, making the continent a lot safer for other players. He instantly sent a message to ZeLin asking him if he got a title too.

ZeLin too saw that he had a title, he sent the description of his title to ZeRen. It stated, [The title Disruptor is granted to the highest contributing disruptor who caused great chaos to balance scales, maintaining the balance of Aegis.] They were opposites sides of the same coin, without evil, there can be no good. Dark Empire did cause many npcs to become brigands and bandits, growing monsters and the lot; The Holy Empire cleaning it up, wiping away the forces of evil.

Due to them having different races, they were sent to different starting points. ZeRen spawned in a Elf Village on the Mal continent. Whereas ZeRen spawned in the mountains of Mt. Kin in the continent of Seb. How ironic his starting point was where he and his brother had their final "showdown".

The brothers however, had no intention of continuing as leaders of their respective guilds. It was way too exhausting. They had other intentions, and that was the reason why one chose the dwarf race and the other an elf race. They each had their agreed tasks.
