50th floor, icy cavern

"After all this time we're finally here," Hugo said with a scoff, As he pushes the large double doors.

"Let's get this over with, the cold really hurt my back," Neivy complained lightly but his eyes vigilant.

The entire room is encased in ice with some sculptures of spiders donning the walls, up above the ceiling is covered by cobwebs and spider silks.

"Leo."

"Yeah, I know."

As Marcus buff everyone, Leo took out several small red orbs from his side bag and toss it around the room.

The orbs, which are called Heat ball, start glowing neon red and the room temperature started rising.

As the ice on the ground starts melting, a loud screeching sound came from above.

"Here it comes, get to position fellas!" Calling out, Hugo took the front with Leo beside him and Marcus and Neivy at the back.

Soon, a huge figure fell down from the top and into their sight. It was an arachnid with a woman upper have and spider face, in each of its right hands it holds swords made of ice.

Stomping its feet, it sent out a wave that the party easily evade. It, however, shattered all the heat balls and reformed the melted ice, effectively returning the room to its previous state.

"Tch, this is troublesome. Leo, any idea?"

"What idea do you all need? Just smash it!"

"Wait, Hugo! Don't rush it!"

Not listening to his Allies, Hugo charges at the arachnid with his shield upfront. Clicking his tongue, Marcus prepared some spells to back the idiot up.

Neivy did not stay idle either, he took aim and send a couple of quick shots coupled with power shot to change the trajectory of some of the bosses attacks, while the rest were deflated by itself chitin shells.

Clashing with the boss's swords Hugo pushes it back and swung his hammer at one of its arms, breaking it by the wrist, before pulling back as multiple elemental bolts hit the boss chest.

Although the hit pushes the boss back a bit, it doesn't deal much damage while half of the arrow still stuck on the boss chest plate.

Annoyed, the boss spits out silks towards Neivy and Marcus at the backline which both easily evade.

The rest of the fight is just a repeat of their tactics until the boss chitin plates are riddled with arrows and cracks.


A flask of explosive substance was thrown by Leo towards the cracked chest plate and Marcus launches a firebolt at it, the explosion it caused then finally broke the hard shell, exposing the boss soft flesh which quickly becomes the party collective target.

Soon, the arachnid was brought down by the party. After confirming their system loot they continue to venture down the dungeon.
