Rise of the Scorpion

The unicorn's horn shone with a pale blue light, before vanishing leaving only a trail of blue smoke on its path.

"Glad, you made it alive, did you succeed?" The unicorn family head spoke, as he walked. He looked serious but inside he was very pleased, and would never doubt his genius son.

"I managed to close the 2 portals," said Ceaser, as he flashed a smile at the young Emilia.

"Hm, Welcome home son, rest for today we will talk later," said the head, he then looked at Young Emilia.

"Emilia, don't bother your brother, you can..." he said, but he was interrupted.

"Its okay father," said Ceaser, as he ruffled little Emilia's hair.

Ceaser put little Emilia on his shoulders, and she giggled.

Emilia had a rare genuine smile on her face as she followed the duo, people looked at Ceaser with respect and worship.

Emilia didn't understand long ago, but now she had a glimpse of how much her people relied on him, he was strong, intelligent and kind, a great brother to her, and a hero to everyone else.

It was said that the moment Ceaser was born, everyone inside the manor felt their level rising, those who had a bottleneck, even made a breakthrough, shocking the whole empire.

He was considered a genius, being able to walk, talk and write from a young age.

At the age of 18, he earned the title of The Chosen One, from the sacred beast of light, and became the youngest Grand knight in history.

At the age of 20, he became a Divine Knight candidate and made a contract with a legendary Unicorn.

She just stood there in a daze watching the duo leave.

The Scene changed again, she saw half the manor destroyed.

"There is a traitor among us, how could a portal open in our domain!" yelled the family head.

Emilia was trembling, she tried to warn her father, but he could not hear her.

Sasori who was watching everything from a distance was confused, he made this illusion to make Emilia face her fears, then giving her a choice to either move on or altering her memories, but he lost control over the illusion, the only thing he can do is sit and watch.

*Woosh*

A giant chaotic purple orb was destroying everything in its a range, before stabilizing.

"Damn it! it's complete!" yelled the family head.

He was wearing heavy armor and holding a two-handed sword tightly, behind him was a hundred knights and a few hundred soldiers.

*Woosh*

Inside the orbs, silhouettes began to form, a dozen, a hundred, a thousand and the number is still growing.

*Gulp* the moral of the soldiers hit rock bottom.

"There are here," said the family head coldly.

*WOOSH*

Before the family head could throw a battle cry.

A beam of light shot at the gate.

The gate didn't seem affected.

The soldier who had some hope crumbled, they wonder if this was the first defeat of their young master.

"Hehehehe!" They suddenly heard a sinister laugh from inside the portal, it was mocking their resistance.

"Haaaaa!" Ceaser then roared, and his aura exploded.

Ceaser kept walking to the sword. as the beam of light from his sword kept attacking the gate

*Rumble*

The gate began to shake, and the silhouettes began to run frantically.

"Haaaaa! Damn you human I'm going to KILL YO..." the figure who laughed previously, shouted in rage as he sensed that the game won't last, silhouette seemed to morph and grow, from two meters to five meters.

*Flop*

He brought his claw out of the closing portal, but he didn't make it and his hand was cut off.

*Pant* Ceaser was exhausted, this attack required a huge about of energy every second.

"Are you alright son..." his father asked worriedly.

"I-i am alrig... EMILIA!!" he suddenly roared, as he runs to young Emilia.

Emilia was surrounded with guards and was holding the family butler's hand, but without knowing a portal formed behind them.

The 20 guards, butler and Emilia were pulled inside.

Ceaser was running with great difficulty, then a flash of blue appears beside him.

It was the unicorn he jumped on its back, as it charged to the portal in the last moment, before closing.
