*Two Days Later*

*BANG!*

Entering the vehicle, the amber-haired beauty slams the door as she glares at her friend. Kielle doesn't seem bothered though as he gazes at her with wonder in his light jade eyes.

"Did you really have to slam the door like that?"

Although his car is very expensive and valuable, he's not mad at his friend for treating it like it's nothing of worth. He is more concerned with her emotions right now.

Ember raises her brow, clearly annoyed by this friend of hers.

"Did you seriously have to come so late? The audition is starting in ten minutes. TEN MINUTES. And we need at least half an hour or so to get there."

She crosses her arms as she faces the front again with a frustrated expression over her face. She is so close to snapping— so close to snapping. He volunteered to drive her himself, but he decided to come late?! If she had not only accepted his offer, then she would have been in the venue already.

Kielle chuckles, unfazed by her irritation. He's only amused by her tantrum, knowing too well of the fact that she is always a little cranky in the morning. He starts the car as he half-heartedly apologizes, "Sorry about that. I got home late become I was filming a variety show to promote my new single, which resulted in me waking up late too."

It wasn't like she is angry at Kielle for making her late, but the thought of people assuming things gives her headaches. If she comes late, then there's a possibility that people will think that she is being given special treatment and a self-entitled brat. Which she totally isn't. Sure she's rich and famous, but it doesn't mean that she is. She is serious about her job and is dedicated to it. She sighs as she stares outside the car's window.

Kielle tilts his head to the side and sees Ember's sullen, beautiful face.

"So, are you prepared for your audition later?"

He smiles, trying to keep the light atmosphere inside his car. Ember's solemn expression disappears as she scrunches her features as if it's a question that is so weird. Kielle, of course, knows that she's prepared; he is confident that she will ace her audition.

"Yeah," Ember says.

Closing her eyes, the beauty lets herself relax after a week of long roller coaster of events. Leaning her head to the window, she breathes out a sigh. Kielle tilts his head to see her friend in a peaceful state. Reaching out his hand, he turns on the music. Just in time, his single music starts playing.

The soft music fills in the car; a haunting rhythm that can echo through the hearts of the listeners and imprint within it for the rest of eternity.
