Chapter 6 – A Miracle

How far are we?

Every time I saw him, I thought so. But it was impossible for me not to follow in his footsteps. I couldn’t help but want to be closer to him. My happiness was so great that even if it was only a centimeter, I felt like it was enormous.

I think this was probably the closest I’ve ever been to him in my life. His long, narrow, beautiful eyes and fan-like long eyelashes, his soft breath, and his warm soft lips.

For a moment, I remembered the dream of the night before and suddenly felt that I was destined to lose him in my life.

If he could not feel where his heart and soul were, was he willing to give it to me or bring my heart and soul into his world?

Then, it dawned on me. We were originally people from two different planets, and such an encounter would have been a miracle.

A second miracle would never happen to me.

For those few short seconds, I thought so sadly.
