Save Me

Chapter 1
As I took my first breath I could smell a familiar scent of perfume
Although the smell of the perfume was so thick that it gave me a head ache, the first thing I felt was relief rather than discomfort.

Im back

I was back to before everything happened.
This was the 6th time

“Ah…..”
A voice came out.
It was a low, rough voice because I had just woken up.

I rolled my tongue around awkwardly and started cracking my fingers. Starting from the thumb to the pinkie.

I then moved them one by one.

Everything was well attached with each other and moving normally. Everything that ever happened to me, like that trail of torture, had disappeared.

I slowly raised my body to get out of the bed.  When my feet touched the floor I felt as strong as a newborn animal.

I clenched my teeth together and took a step forward, While doing so I felt dizzy and fell forward as I couldn’t keep my balance properly.

*Kung*

I had hit my face to the floor.
While I was still lying on the floor I raised my head and started looking around, Nothing had changed.

Inside the room was just as gorgeous as a master’s room. The room was dark since the sun was blocked by the curtains and slightly reflected onto the floor

The smell of the perfume that pierced through my lungs every-time i took a breath was still lingering around.

Nothing had changed.

Except for me.

I slowly pushed my hands towards the floor to gather some strength.

I could feel for sure that It wasn’t as easy as it used to be.

Compared to my first life I felt so weak.
I was well aware that the more i went back in time the weaker i got.

I think this was the price of going back in time.
It was a cheap price for being able to do something that couldn’t be achieved by human power.

I wouldn’t have refused even if it took my life, but it took my health instead. It wasn’t a big deal to get sick a few times.1

After a couple of attempts i was finally able to get back on my feet. I couldn’t fully stand because i had no strength left in my legs.
I had just woken up from a sleep so i felt a bit more limp.

This was something a matter of time could solve.

As i sat there with my hands lightly clenched I could hear a knock on the door.

“Lady, I came because I heard a loud noise. May I come in?”

“Yes”

The door opened

As the maid came inside her eyes widened at the sight of me sitting still on the floor.
First thing she did was examining my face closely,

“You’re bleeding. How did this happen?”

“I fell over.”

She looked as if she had suspicions before quickly examining the rest of my body to check if i had any other injuries.

They seemed to have thought that I would change my mind a day before entering the palace

I was entering the palace to pretend to be the companion of a crazy emperor who kills people for no reason

It was almost like walking to your death, I didn’t know if people suspected that I would kill myself or run away
