Second Chance: Raising A Yandere Demon Lord

Adrian's joy was visible in his sparkling blue eyes as he skipped through the hallway. Held within his hand was the last piece of chocolate— given by Odette— and a wide smile formed on his face as he placed inside the chocolate in his mouth.

The sweet delicacy melted in his mouth instantly, pleasing his taste buds, and Adrian found himself craving more for the chocolate.

However, his mood went down when his foot fell on something slippery, and losing his balance due to it, he found himself stumbling. Before he was able to stabilise himself, Adrian fell on the ground.

The motion caused his legs to be twisted slightly, and a cry of pain escaped from his mouth at that. The throbbing ache caused tears to form at the corner of his eyes, and his uplifted mood due to the chocolates disappeared that instant.

"It hurts!" he exclaimed.

His loud voice caught the attention of the maids working nearby, and couple of them rushed forward at his direction.

One of the maid stepped closer to him, and leaning slightly, she softly questioned, "What is the matter, Adrian?"

Hearing the voice, the little boy raised his head, and staring at the maid with his tear-filled eyes, he protruded his bottom lip, causing for a pout to form upon his features.

"It hurts. My leg really hurts! This is painful!" the five year old spoke out.

Upon his words, the Maid kneeled down, and while nervousness showed in her face, she removed the shoe off of his foot. Then, holding the ankle of his right leg, she pressed it.

The pressure caused for a scream to escape from his mouth, and while Adrian tried to push the maid away from him, he said, "This hurts! My ankle really hurt! Don't touch it."

Removing her hand from Adrian's ankle, the maid raised her head and said, "This seems to be serious. One of you go and inform Lady Odette about it. Since he is her personal servant, treatment can not be provided to him without her orders, and she might get angry if we are late on this."

"I will go; I don't want to face her wrath later on," one of the brave maids voiced out before rushing off to the direction of Odette's room.

"I will carry the boy, and take him to the infirmary. The place appears to be wet. Whoever was in cleaning duty at here today make sure to clean it before Lady Odette catches the sign of it. You will get into a severe punishment for this."

His face appeared to be quite ashen, and his heart beat rapidly within his ċhėst. A nauseating feeling rose inside of him at the thought of what he had done, and guilt contaminated his entire being. He felt sick within his stomach, and the situation caused him a headache.

Dennis had done it. Even now, he found it difficult to believe. If caught, he might be punished.. Hurting a five year old like that and using unfair means did not leave a good feeling within him, but this was something that had to be done.
