THE NEXT DAY

~Helian residence~

Meilin woke up with a start. She had an idea in mind.

When Helian Linx opened her daughters door she froze, as she heard a low murmuring. "How about a mermaid gown? No, that doesn't suit the top. A ballgown maybe? Nah too pretentious. It has to be petite." Helian Linx laughed silently, her amazing daughter was at it again. Only seventeen but already doing things that no one could dream of. She quietly closed the door and went downstairs to inform the cook that breakfast was to be served.

Meilin was in the middle of designing a new masterpiece when a reminder popped up on her phone. It said 'IMPORTANT: Meeting with Ling Seko to discuss (you know what)'. Meilin jumped out of her seat and ran to the door. Then she ran back into the room. What should she wear? Meilin grabbed a light pink, off the shoulder top and paired it with white skinny jeans and light brown ankle booties. She put her hair into a ponytail, put on her favourite black choker and grabbed her cardigan on her way out the door. "I'm meeting up with Seko!" Meilin yelled into the house. "Okay, have fun" Her mother yelled back, equally loud.

Meilin smiled and made her way to her favourite cafe, Senorita.

~Cafe Senorita~

"You are late" "Yeah yeah I know. I was working on a new design." Ling Seko smiled. His friend truly had a runaway brain. "So?" Meilin instantly went into business mode. "I hacked the warehouse camera. I have the footage on here" She pulled out a USB. Ling Seko took it and let it slide into his jacket. "Do you know who stole the bracelet yet?" The Ling family had created a 36 karat gold bracelet inlaid with 4.6 billion yuan worth of diamonds. The bracelet should have been a gift for the youngest Ling daughter on her eighteenth birthday but it had been stolen even with the best and most powerful security ever. "Well call me if there's anything new. I haven't had a good fight in a while." Ling Seko was reminded again how looks were decieving as Meilin looked and acted like an angel but in reality was ruthless and bloodthirsty. She would always get what she wanted, one way or the other.
