Lu Bao jumped in surprise as Li Huang started walking briskly in Meilins direction. "My dear, what are you doing?", Lu Bao asked in a sweet voice. Li Huang glared at her. He was truly sick and tired of her constant nosing and acting innocent. "I am going to meet with a woman." Lu Bao shrank back, away from his icy glare."But I thought you loved me" ,Lu Bao said in a small voice. Li Huang sneered. "Hah, I only put up with your constant whining because you promised me the business. Let's make a deal. If you successfully manage to own the entire Lu Corporations by the end of next year, I will marry you and help you to fulfil you're dreams." Lu Bao nodded her head in defeat but her eyes flashed with fury and envy. She swore, to take that b*ch down.

Li Huang saw Lu Baos furious gaze and chuckled softly. He smirked. It was always nice to have women fight over you.

If Lu Bao would have known what Li Huang was thinking, she would have given up on him straight away.

Meanwhile Meilin was being interviewed by reporters. "Miss Meilin look over here please!" "Miss Meilin how are you taking the boost to your family's social status?" "Miss Meilin are the rumours true?" Meilin froze at the last question. She instantly composed herself and answered cutely. "What rumours are there?" The reporter stuttered. "Well, ah, there, there have been rumours of you having a relationship with Young Master Li Huang" Meilin sighed "Well then I must clear up these rumours. As you know my eighteenth birthday is coming up and I would like to let you know that I have never been in a relationship before" This, of course, was a lie. How could someone with such a prestigious background not have been in a relationship before.

Meilin had been very naive when she was younger and someone had broken her heart. This had been so traumatic for Meilin, that she became a cold and aloof girl, concentrating more on studying and building a company than finding friends and socializing. Li Huang frowned as he heard Meilin answer the reporters question. He knew very well that she had been in a relationship before.
