Shinobi From Hell

There was no reply from the other side of the door. She sighed as she walked up to it. But a sudden thought caused her to stop in her tracks.

'Is it the ninjas now? Is my time already over?' Evelyn thought.

It was almost impossible for the ninjas to target her within the extreme vicinity of the second gen young master. 

She had more time than she actually believed it to be. But alas, Klautz had left her hanging without any information for her own good.

Evelyn shook her head.

"No, they won't come knocking on my door would they?" 

She chuckled at her own naive thought.

"And even if someone comes. I am going to kill him…"

Evelyn gripped onto her dagger. She had grown paranoid. Every day that she lived was lived in fear. But alas, there was nothing that she could do.

Even her resolve to kill wouldn't really amount to anything if a true ninja were to appear.

As she walked up to the door swinging it open.

The first thing that her eyes focused on was a vibrant white. It was the white teeth of a beautiful girl grinning as soon as she revealed herself.

Evelyn couldn't help but widen her eyes.

When was the last time she had seen such a smile? She didn't remember. The situation of theirs was too dire for anyone around her to smile. But her situation was the worst among all of them.

Indeed, she was spot on. The girl in front of her wasn't really among 'them'.

'Have I met her before?' she thought as her lips pursed thinking of her past and future.

"Yes? You are?"

But Shizu didn't wait for her reply as she barged in without any warning pushing Evelyn away. Both of them were of the same height. But, it wasn't too hard for her since she packed quite a force despite her frail looking body.

*bam*

"You are Evelyn aren't you?"

Evelyn nodded a bit reluctantly. Was it a sign of danger? She didn't know. The girl seemed too cute to be any danger to her. 

She wasn't sure what she should do and what she shouldn't but Shizu didn't look like she meant any harm.

"Big Brother Klautz told me about you. You are like me aren't you?"

Shizu's eyes gleamed as if she had found a new toy to play with.

"Big Brother?" Evelyn tilted her head in worry. 'What's going on?'

Shizu nodded. 

"Yes. You want to enjoy it too, don't you? Actually there are a list of places I want to go to and they are quite amazing too. But I don't want to go alone. I asked Big Sis but she refused claiming that she had some kind of important mission to accomplish. It's quite a pity but I had no one until Klautz told me about you. He he."

A pleased smile formed on his lips.

'Are we on sight seeing or something?' Evelyn couldn't have understood such a thought.

She did remember making such a request to Klautz but this was too absurd! Why would Klautz send someone for that stupid purpose alone?

'I thought that he was the serious and uncaring type. Is he trying to win my favor perhaps?'

Little did Evelyn know that as long as she tagged along with Shizu her safety from the ninjas was almost guaranteed. The ninjas wouldn't dare to try something funny with the young masters and mistresses of the influential families around. That could very much be the recipe of their destruction.

Shizu's very claims seemed to be unbelievable and surreal to Evelyn. The newbies along with her found the area to be too dangerous to be moving about carelessly let alone be naive enough to fool around here and there in search of aesthetics.

The forests that they were earning money in were riddled with monsters. They were good at earning some gold but it was not the place that a tourist should fool around in.

'Where are the danger signs?'

Little did she know that for Shizu, who had seen the true face of hell, such a place could only be considered as nothing but tame. It was a place to fool around for her as the monsters here could have posed no danger to her.

But how could Evelyn know that Shizu was such a figure? Shizu had a fragile appearance despite her strength. The stage of war and battle didn't seem to be suitable for her. She could only mistake her for a newbie having ties with Klautz.

Shizu pouted at the lack of response and Evelyn's stupefied face.

"What are you staring at?" Shizu flared her nostrils.

Shizu grabbed onto her hands. As always she wasn't much concerned with the troubles that others faced.

"We are getting late, let's go. I am sure that I can check some places off my list today!"

"Ah… wait. I am not…" her words sputtered as she tried to refuse in a daze.

But her words were cut off as she was being pulled along. Had she known of Shizu's true identity she wouldn't have resisted her so much and followed in Selena's footsteps.

Huuk!

His eyes shot open as the first thing it saw was a pail ceiling. He was covered on all sides with white curtains and was sweating all over.

"Ugh," the moment he opened his eyes a sharp pain ran through his hand. HIs hand felt much more thicker than usual as it was wrapped in thick bandages. But that wasn't the thing he was most concerned about.

"Where am I?" Colt squeaked as he scanned the room around him.

He had been lying on a hospital bed and many such beds lay in a row in the very room.
