Chapter 24 Part 2

Zhou Tingsheng asked: “When will you be back?”

Ye Qiao answered: “In one more week.”

“Then you’ll get even darker.”

Ye Qiao was taken aback by the comment, then said: “I didn’t use any sunblock in the
past couple of days. I’ll start applying some.”

Zhou Tingsheng smiled: “It’s alright. You look good this way.”

There was nothing else to carry the conversation, but they still didn’t want to go back.

They quietly walked for a little while longer then circled back to where the car was parked.

Zhou Tingsheng asked: “Shall we walk some more?”

“No, I’ve walked enough.” She was amazed at herself that she was reluctant to separate
her hand from his warm palm. She slipped her hand out of his after tapping his a couple
of times with her two fingers. Her hand did feel cold once it was in contact with the air.
“Will you come to take me back?”

“They don’t have transportation for you?”

“I want you to come and take me.”

Zhou Tingsheng was noncommittal: “What if your fans see us then?”

Ye Qiao challenged him: “Then we’ll go public. You can say you’ve slept with me. Many
of them will envy you.”

Even a person like Zhou Tingsheng was stunned by her freewheeling conversations.
He guilted her with a smile: “Your speech has grown more and more uninhibited.”

Ye Qiao countered: “I’ve learned it from you.”

Ophelia, left in the car by himself, rested his head on the car window, watching them.
His head suddenly popped out right between them. Zhou Tingsheng took a few steps
back and took out his cell phone to take a picture: “Don’t move.”

He raised the camera-----

Ye Qiao’s hair was disheveled by the light breeze, covering parts of her face. She was
always photogenic. Now with the green and yellow mountains as the background, she
stood there wearing a dark red dress. Her face was plain, without any makeup, it was
just her red lips, white teeth and bright eyes. It looked like a meticulously composed
picture. Ophelia was well-behaved next to her, curiously looking around.

Zhou Tingsheng wanted to walk near the person in his lens, pull her hair up for her.

That night, after Ye Qiao finished filming and logged onto Weibo. She saw the picture.
The caption was still brief and straightforward. It read-----the lady owner.
