If Noa had kept the pace or his body hold out a few more minutes perhaps he would have survived, unfortunately, his life was short-lived...

However, as this was the case he suddenly stopped using the minuscules of magic he had left and through his mouth as it cracked and become dusted he fired a petrification beam which bathed Noa...

Silence!! Noa didn't even have time to think as he took the full brunt of the beam and became a statue before the rest of Wiseman body became dust and was swallowed by the small hole blob that had finished devouring the rest of its crumbling body...
