"Void Steps!"

Just before the yellow flames hit him, Elijah turned into shadows while leaving several afterimages on where he stood. With a burst of speed, he reached the control panel and began pressing every button he saw.

After the flames extinguished, the girl in pink realized that it was a trap as Elijah was on the other side of the room. But she realized what happened too late and when she raised her staff to use another spell, a hole appeared right bellow her and hysterically screams could be heard as she fall somewhere only God knows.

Walking to Elijah's side, Aina left the stone and said she could see Elijah was caught looking at a chest with a few golden lines on it. "Oh, this one seems to be sealed with runic patterns. you don't need brute force to break it if you find the weakest point on the patterns. The only problem is that none of us know to find it, so we will have to find the weak spots and break these seals by force."

Just before he heard Aina, Elijah decided to touch the seal with left hand and the Giant Gate instantly reacted as golden light was sent to his hands and covered the entire seal. Seconds after, it cracked open with a bang!

Elijah pulled his hand back when he heard the crash as he breathed in relief and showed an infantile excitement in his smiling face. He never thought he would be able to open it so easily.

"Now, let's see what is inside!" Elijah was a little forceful as he one of the chests.

Once it was open, the runes on the wall vibrated, and a new path begin to open.

He narrowed his eyes and discovered several artifacts made of Ethereal Silver that caused the room's temperature to decrease significantly.

Inside the first chest was a Bracelet and a Mask. After several tests, they find out that the Bracelet could store energy and control ice. As for the Mask, the only thing they could discover was it created a barrier around the user's body. In the end, he gave Aina the Bracelet and stored the Mask on his phone.

After opening the other chests, the only thing there was containers with hundreds of bottles and each one of those bottles had printed a pattern on them that vaguely resembled a tower except for one bottle that had only one pill. Aina opened the bottle without the pattern and poured the pills into her palm for further inspection. She noticed that aside from this bottle, every other bottles contained the same pill. As for the pills on her hand were all transparent like glass, each of them was about the size of a cherry, and they had a refreshing fragrance.

"Are these Original Foundation pills?" Aina turned her head to look at all the bottles around her, and she abruptly took in a deep breath of cold air; she was completely dumbfounded by the sight.

Regardless of cultivation path, the fourth realm is one of the most important as regardless of the path as it needs to created one of the three foundations, but even then, every one knew that there's three different ranks of foundation and to condense the higher grade foundations, it need a special type of pills. That's why foundation pills were so sought after.

"I didn't think these exist anymore!" Original Foundation pills were not only used to condense highest tier foundation as it could be used to breakthrough from the third to the fourth realm, but it could only be used once and its renowned formula was lost in time. Therefore, everyone thought those pills to be extinct!

Elijah and Aina stored all the other bottles inside it and entered the tunnel that open on the room. Within a few hours, Elijah's smartphone and Aina's spatial pouch was filled with treasures and rare goods.

They came across a wide variety of herbs, pills, medicines, and even found some red Prime Crystals, but they couldn't find any more valuable than it.

The tunnel went deep underground and the length of it meant it was impossible to search each and every rooms, and bearing that in mind. Elijah thought they should go deeper into the tunnel as the area might be less contested. Then they could take their time searching instead of having to worry about defending themselves all the time.

Of course, the would not be the first nor the only person with such idea. A few hundred more experienced ones were already further down the tunnel.

Elijah and Aina came through a door and saw they were a huge hall. It was at just a few times smaller than the one on Elijah's soul. Looking around, he saw that other than the few others who had probably been killed everyone from their group was here. Aina said while she stare at the other tunnels: "So all the doors would actually led to the same place like in the cultivation where all paths lead to the same end."

Elijah had a glance at the place and noticed there were at least three hundred people who made it here.

Keith, Kaikai, Yail, and Ruby were right on the front. They stood in the middle of the hall right in front of a dozen meter tall round altar that was protected by a light blue barrier and a white spear stood in the altar.

The spear was not the only thing on the altar. A lot of weapons, shields, and armors were placed beside it, and a lot of these goods had a shine on them that indicated they weren't ordinary artifacts.

While the people in the room were very focused on the white spear, Elijah and Aina entered unnoticed.

They were discussing how to break through the barrier. In their minds, they were clear that as long as the that barrier existed, they wouldn't have a chance to lay their hands on those treasures. So, what they need to do now was to work together instead of killing each other.
