Supreme System Devourer

Flaming streaks of golden energy flowed around Fang in a majestic display of might.

"I have accepted you as a worthy successor!" the system intoned.

Fang smiled radiantly, the sunlight shining on his face creating a godly effect.

"Now there is only one thing left to do," the system told him.

Its energy spiked upwards and it drew closer to Fang.

"Do you accept?" the Seraph's Will System formally asked Fang.

Fang smiled.

"Well... that was a great pitch, but... I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline," he replied.

The system flared.

'Why is he declining..?' it thought.

A spiraling force of energy began to swirl within Fang, creating a suction effect. The system howled in pain as it realized the trick that had been played upon it.

"HOW COULD YOU?" it howled in anger.

It was a deity! How could this shameless man dare to play such an ignoble trick upon one of the strongest systems in the universe? How dare he! Was he going against all that was good? Was he the enemy of righteousness?

Smiling at the system, Fang slowly drew the system in, a devilish aura exuding from his gleeful face. He felt as if he was a hungry man that had been released on a mountain of food.

"No.. you can't... how dare you do this!?!?" the system roared as it slowly dissipated.

With a whoosh, the holy system disappeared and Fang felt sated.

The system remained silent. Fang looked around for a response and yet none came forth. Shrugging in indifference, he exited his mental palace.

The system sighed within his head. If only things were easier. But they were impossibly hard, especially at such a critical juncture. Especially for someone like Fang. Suppressing the whɨnės of the devoured system, Fang's inherent system sighed, feeling a great sadness overtake it.

'Good luck on your task. I will let you know more when the time is right, but for now, just keep devouring the systems," it thought to itself.

Fang, meanwhile, was oblivious to all of this and felt quite pleased with having completed the objective and at having devoured such a delicious system.

Standing up, Fang floated upwards into the sky. He had much work to do back at home. After all, this voyage was not to scout out systems. In fact, it was rather to find out what the current state of the world was exactly.

Simply put, Fang had been removed from civilization for quite a while. Despite his fervent efforts to remain in such a position, he acknowledged that he needed to remain aware of the current state of affairs if he wished to secure his peace.

Therefore, he resolved to visit the outside world sporadically in order to maintain awareness about the situation around him. Simultaneously, he was on a hunt for a system, which he had succeeded in devouring.

All things considered, his mission was a success, putting him in a jubilant mood. Flying into the sky, he headed back for the mountain. He wished to see how far his companions had gotten in their cultivation.

"Hm... I can't wait to meet them. This is going to be fun. After all, I'm no longer the same person as before..." Fang spoke, grinning evilly.
